5T4R
I haven't heard of Babymetal until now. Watched one of the videos on youtube, and they seem to have an interesting variant on pop. They have a mixture of Pop & Metal, something different for me. I like it different, try listening "Sakura Gakuin", it's where Babymetal was originated from. They also have some TV show going. Rilarion
I didn't know fuwa was full of loli-loving metalheads I don't limit myself by genres but I mainly listen to Alternative Rock and Christian Rock (Even though I'm agnostic lol), I also listen to classical music. rap and 2000s pop (before american and turkish singers started using asses as currency) time to time. They were shaking their asses back then too but at least the music was good too. This is a good example of the change: Both are Jennifer Lopez obviously. look at the difference Now look at this shit: I wanted to use the same singer to make a good comparison of the times even though I normally don't listen her. I don't listen to pop much actually, but this change really annoys me. Thankfully there are still good ones out there. Thanks for reading my ranting
nohman
I don't know, pop music is as catchy as it has always been. The asses only enhance it really.
arakura
Recently I've been listening to some Audioslave. They have a few songs with pretty interesting lyrics, even though listening to lyrics isn't really my thing. I've been too stressed recently to listen to music much. Christian rock... I really should put some Thousand Foot Krutch on my phone

Why should I watch those Music Videos for asses, I can go all the way and watch porn instead. , or go for it in RL when possible
Kosakyun
I think music adapts to the current trends in its time. You can see that people clearly love asses these days.
hydro
I like a bit of everything, it depends more on the individual song than the genre. A few random favs from different genres and languages: Blue Stahli - Ultranumb 96Neko - Wave Egypt Central - White Rabbit Fairy Tail OP

Kosakyun
Music nowadays has way too much unnecessary sexualization. "Nevermind how shitty the song is, lets shove some tits n' ass in the public's faces and rack up the view & popularity count. Sex sells after all!" /industry mindset. I wouldn't be too surprised if Brazzers were handling today's mainstream music video production.
Yatsufusa
Their goal is money after all. We can't blame them if that's what they want. But it kinda defeats the point of music. After all, you're meant to listen with your ears, not your eyes. A music video is good if it's not trying to be alternative wank material. nohman
A lot of people don't believe me when I say that I listen to any genre of music. lol, that's because people usually say that and then include a lot of caveats. Like, "I listen to everything, except... Country Rap/Hip-hop Anything before the 60s Anything without lyrics Anything with screaming in it." and so on. CLuBLioN
But I never say that I actually listen anything I find with great voice, lyrics or music and it doesn't matter what genre it is. Nu Disco 7. Hands Up 8. Dubstep 9. Electro 10. J-Pop 11. K-Pop 12. J-Rock 13. Alternative Rock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ6Dtat76UI 14. Metal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkFqg5wAuFk 15. Metal Core(Screaming?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60i2A5okP2s 16. Emo? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bbTtPL1jRs 17. Glitch Hop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeSFOvbJ5Co 18. Hardstyle (New genre I found couple days ago :] ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j68XcKWLcE 19. Eurodance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pav2f4b-1ZE 20.
