Specifically this song from Gore Screaming Show: There's something amazing about combining metal instrumentals and a singer with a cute voice. Especially old school rock has nearly perfect melodies. Really, I never got too much of a visual novel vibe from them. For me Zero Escape and Ace Attorney got me interested and watching Clannad served as the final push.
