Youtube recommendations essentially spoiled Clannad and ef for me when I would pull up the OST or something. Those are a damned pain to avoid. However, these videos usually appear on youtube's front site, making them hard to avoid even if you want to. I unsub from him and another 4 or so anime YouTubers. Thought that a bit impossible. I am not looking for any anime in particular and some asshole decides to make a video and use a thumbnail with a spoiler. I didn't even got a chance to even know what the video is about and I am already being given spoilers by the asshole. Twitter is even worst. You watch them and they A ruin the good moments or reduce the effect of a scene. Because you know is going to happen. This is flaw. People also have the option not to click on that thread. You are assuming people will be able to stop on time before reading the spoiler part or B somebody told them about a spoiler on the thread already. On top of that, what one person considers a spoiler, another person might not. For example, I know some people that just mentioning a character type (like tsundere or whatever) is a spoiler. To truly avoid spoilers, one must basically never go online, never watch trailers, never read reviews etc. And again, I know people who don't watch trailers or read reviews.
