What's the difference between the original Fate/Stay Night anime vs. the Unlimited Blade Works other than production values, if any?
On a side note, on episode 10 and my golly is this show beautiful to watch. Not to mention the soundtrack is superb. What really really got me was the battles, especially when Archer and Lancer first clashed WOW. Just thinking back on the majority of fights to happen thus far I get filled with excitement. The colors and lighting, smooth af animation, the sounds of blades hitting, man-oh-man am I loving this. The overall mood feels lighter than Fate/Zero which is kinda unfortunate but not a big deal. The characters in F/S N are plenty enough to keep me entertained on the plot/character side of things.
Rin is love, Saber is love, Rider is love, Caster tbt, Sakura is love, Fuji-neeeee makes the cake too. Hell might as well through Emiya on board too.

The reason for that is that I think, for the main site and maybe for things like social media presence, the character should probably be a little bit bland so that they are more approachable. When I saw moods I immediately thought emoticons. This is for a later discussion, once an actual mascot has been decided on and picked, but we are going to need chat emotes once it happens.

I like this idea a lot, any memorable mascot that comes to mind are animal things. Teddy (Persona 4 ), Kyuubei (Madoka), Pikachu (Pokemon), Snoo (Reddit), Sonic (Sega), Crabigator (WaniKani), hell even Denpasoft has a bunny thing. This is not to say human mascots can't be effective, Mario, Hatsune Miku, and that's all I can thing of. Logo's and Animal/Creature inspired mascots just seem to be a lot more memorable.
I still like the GravityGreen inspired mascot, but I have no idea how it would look like. That being said, green, yellow/orange, blue, and pink are the colors I associate with Fuwa. It helps those are the colors that are used in the Fuwanovel logo
I'm also partial to cutesy stars so those get my vote too.

Sign me up for this month, bought Steins;Gate a year ago and wasn't able to get it to install correctly. My vote is obviously going to S;G. Does anyone here know if the PS Vita or PC version is better?

Yuzuriha Inori and Kawakami Momoyo are my favorites.

For Inori I just love her... not much to say. Her battle outfit is awesome, her pajamas, her school uniform, her swim suit, her color pallet really suits her, the fact her void is the king's void, I mean she is amazing.
Then Momoyo because I really love her attitude and over whelming power, heroines like this are some of the best! Plus I really love kung fu and stuff like that so even better.
Between the both of them I love their eyes! I just want to be held by them and drift off into a warm sleep...

Was looking through my backlog for my next show and picked Fate/Stay Night. Made it through the first half of ep.0 and will finish it tonight then ep.1 right after. The artwork and animation is gorgeous, the art and what not in Zero was good but I don't remember it being this good.

What about a "family" of mascots? Like one per each major theme, then on the front page all of them can be together or something.
Messaged Tay about mascots a few days ago so really happy to see it might be happening! Will you be creating them Bats?

OK, I'm now on episode 11 of GakkouGurashi!. I take back the comment about wanting something more serious after watching a few episodes of this.
SpoilerHoly fucking shit stick, episode 10 man, episode 10. Holy fucking shit stick. This show is freakin' awesome, this had to be the best episode by far. I felt fear, sadness, anxiety, curiosity, but no happiness, at all. I legitimately felt scared this episode. The music was fucking creepy, Kurumi was in such despair that I felt it, and Megu-nee writing while having blood drip down her mouth, HOLY SHIT. Not to mention Taroumaru... man I loved him. Holy fucking shit stick.

The first four are pretty solid and I doubt will change, the last one is up for contest. I can't really say I have "favorites" as I just don't feel it most of the time. However, I love Guilty Crown and White Album 2, Psycho Pass and Aldnoah aren't on that status but a bit below, still really like them though. The rest of the animeme that I would consider for "favorite" are older so they are out of this thread. Zankyou no Terror or Selector Infected would probably be the other anime in contest with Zetusne no Tempest, not 100% sure though.

I will be getting Moon 100%, as soon as pre-orders open I'm in. I am becoming a really huge Pokemon fan again and was debating on making a topic for this, but didn't think many Fuwans played it or watched it anymore.
On a side note, does anyone here do VGC?

Bought the full version of Azure Striker GUNVOLT, man is that game fun. Feels really solid to play and the soundtrack is awesome. My only gripe with it as of now is that it doesn't feel like the enemies do enough damage, then all of a sudden the boss goes ham on you. If they upped the overall difficulty that would have fixed any issue I have so far.
Then along side GUNVOLT, I bought Super Mario 3 as I have never played an OG Mario, just the newer ones. The game is aggravating! I have gotten so many game over's in such a short amount of time
It's a ton of fun though, just sitting here all day playing it.

Picked up my Pokemon N3DS today and it looks and feels awesome! Came pre-installed with Pokemon Red and Blue, so I decided to play some Blue. I also downloaded the Azure Striker GUNVOLT demo and feel a great urge to buy the game now.
The only issue I have with the N3DS is a mental one. It fits fine in my hand, albeit a little small, and then I downloaded MH4U demo, played some RE: Mercenaries, Azure Striker GUNVOLT, Pokemon, and FE - BR to test out even further. I just can't get over the fact that the screen is smaller than my old XL, and that other people say the New XL is more comfortable. It just feels really different, like a change of pace. I can read everything fine, picture is crisp, so far after 3 hours of various game time I have no complaints about the size or control set up. Just that mental block going "you suuuure you don't want that big one, huh?".

Finished Go Go Nippon! My First Trip To The Glorious Nippon!.
What can I say... the game was pretty decent. I wanted something short, which it was, the two main heroines were likable (Akira was best), and I got to learn more about The Glorious Nippon (
). I enjoyed the artwork and scenery but it wasn't anything super special. The only thing that was a platinum bummer was no voice over. Fun VN, cheap, short.
Moving onto Analogue: A Hate Story. 10 minutes into it and art is OK, good but nothing special. Wondering if this is more of a gameplay/mystery VN than a sit back and read, which is what I was hoping for. Not really in the mood for investigating anything, hopefully it sticks.
Here's to hoping you have memorable moments in 2016!
