Have you tried a scratch-install? Just put the installation files on a usb then delete the traces of the previous installs from your computer, after that, reboot then put the files back and open bootmenu.exe with admin. If it passes through, click インストール and continue. Report back what happens.

The only recent one I watched was PhotoKano (which imo, wasn't great but average) to see if the VN was better or worse than the anime.

Best routes would have to be Yumiko, Amane and Sachi. Yumiko: She has quite a sad past and didn't trust people till Yuuji came along Amane: Pretty basic, that Big-sis rp that she started was quite amusing and her straighforward personality was quite charming. Sachi: Well, can't say much here but her childhood was quite a mysterious one, and the way the story progressed from there gave me a new perspective of people like her.

Suprisingly my first VN was Fate/Stay Night. Quite a nice story to it with a sad but happy ending, did end up playing Fate/Stay Extra on my PSP after 1 week though, the game is quite repetative in the story though (too many circles and finding out where the f they are). After that VN I found out about Monster Hunter Quest and Saya no Uta. *shivers* I wonder why I didn't have nightmares after Saya no Uta.

kinda weird how this will be my first post. but anyway, I am currently playing ShiniKiss (started about 50 mins ago) and almost finished the final route. If you wanna know a VN I am currently playing that is >1 hour then it would have to be Grisaia no Meikyuu (can't play Rakuen since not even TL'ed yet)
