I have to agree with the Pres.
 
Though i will admit i am IRL more attracted to smaller girls ie noramly 5 foot to 5 foot 7 inches kinda range. I also dont much care for boobs over a C cup. 
 
Basicly its like this, i like girls that are cute more then ones that are sexy, and have that feel about them they need to be protected even if its the farthest thing from the truth. 

I know it seems pretty bad being sexually attracted to little girls, but it doesn't start from there. I like lolis so much, because it's someone who needs protection and attention 24/7, seems a hurdle at first sight, but I couldn't ask for more. It has a big influence from how I am IRL. Before I met lolis, I thought I was just one more ant in the big ant house that is earth, me being there or not wouldn't make a difference. But lolis, they need you, they need you very much, more than anything, they need you, and they'll rely on you for everything, trusting you, and counting on you to take care of them. I always wanted someone to feel that way about me, and that's why lolis are such a big blessing for me, even if they aren't real.

Hmmm... I don't think that's something I know how to explain. I just think that big stuff (oppai / oshiri) is disgusting, like you say, but I don't know how to explain that well... and I'm extremely attracted to small things, for some reason. But it's not just the body, no, but also the fact about how they act so childish and bashful, that just makes me want to tease them more, and glomp them. :3
    It's for that very reason that the only type of lolis I don't like is the exclusively sadist lolis. I want to be the teaser on the relationship. :3

Don't be so strict about it. Loli is a child-like character that makes your heart flutter just being called by her. Age does not matter for me. Kuudere lolis, tsundere lolis, dandere lolis, they all make my heart flutter, that's enough for me.

Who the hell am I kidding? You don't leave Fuwanovel. For all that is good in this world, you can't leave Fuwanovel. Once you're stuck here you're stuck in a pit of molasses; a fly on a spider's web (cut me slack on that analogy, it wasn't easy). Try as I might, I can't walk away from this website. My trigger finger is itching to fire off some new projects I have sitting in the wings, and who the hell is going to showcase those projects with all the newbies joining the site and roaming the land? There are so many people I enjoy working with on this site that I would feel awful if I left. Still, quietly coming back is just not like me; I've always been about grand presentations I guess. I woke up in the middle of the night sweating for crying out loud to type this message because I felt there was something missing in my life, and I realize now that no matter how much negativity affects us at times, at the end of the day we are the same people. This place will always be a home to me with the same positive energy I know and love. That sounds pathetic, I know, but it's the truth folks. I've said it already, and I'll say it again:
 
We are a family. We are one messed up family mind you who sometimes want to rip each other's faces off, but you're damn right we are a family.

With that being said, let me start by saying a few words regarding the mess surrounding my desire to leave Fuwanovel. It's a simple step-by-step process you see, one that I hope will shed light on a few things:
 
Step 1 - I messed up, and trolls got to me personally.

And that's it. I am extremely thankful for everyone that went out of their own way to encourage me to keep at it and assist me in some personal matters. I am also grateful to those who are continuing to do so.

Now, while I would love to spam this thread with all of the ideas I have in store and jump right back into the swing of things, there are a few loose ends I need to take care of beforehand. Dealing with those in the next day or so will come next. Still, I can give you something, and in that regard, I need the community's help, so please read on!
 

 
Ren's Project Mascots
 
I have decided to elect 2 new mascots to represent my projects on the Fuwanovel site and beyond (YouTube, Mixcloud, etc.). While most people use original characters for this kind of work, I wanted to choose characters that I think represent the idea behind my project development quite well. I originally got this idea when thinking of the famous Japanese blogger Danny Choo, who uses his own original character, Mirai Suenaga, as his iconic representation. As a fun fact, did you know she has her own airline service, as well as the fame of being Japan's official mascot for tourism in 2013? In addition, she is the same girl featured in Yuzusoft's Dracu-riot! background images and posters. Still, while I never expect to be as popular as him, I do think having some sort of theme to my projects will help establish a "personality" for what I do around the internet. These candidates (as some of you may have been aware of beforehand) are the following individuals:

The reason I chose these 2 girl's to be mascots for all the projects I do is because I believe they represent how I view things when it comes to making projects. Miku is a producer, a developer, and a music creator who sort of represents how I myself am a  creator of projects (to a much lesser extent). Nonon is a performer (marching bands anyone?), so I thought what better person to use than her to showcase how I like to "put on a show" for the community. Plus, I am madly in love with her heh. Now, before you say to yourself how I have totally gone off the deep end, at least here me out.
 
I need artists!
 
I will of course be willing to pay you for the time you spend in doing this little project for me, but in short, I need good artists who are able to draw these characters effectively. I would like to have these girl's be meshed into single pieces of artwork (aka together), as well as drawn with unique flair and costumes/poses for my projects. If you are at all interested in helping me out in this endeavor, please, please, please PM me as I would A. love to see what you can do, and B. love your help. It's not really an eroge, but I strongly recommend Umineko no Naku Koro ni, for its great plot (and the badass lolis).
 
I'm the same, I learned english out of my own initiative, through games and movies; school is not nearly enough.

I really wanted to make this thread in order to improve further contests. I want to hear what your opinions are on the rules as well as what you suggest could be done to improve.
 
Now please read the whole post because some stuff might be answered below.
 
I do not want to see arguing about the winner and wether or not it was fair (in fact I address that point below). This is purely to gather opinions on ruling and suggestions for further improvements.
 
First off this was the first edition, while most people were excited for this new idea when it was proposed by solidbatman, when the contest was actually on going a lot of people were divided, some even felt like it wasn't fair. And it's exactly because it didnt go 100% smoothly that I'd like to get some feedback from you guys.
 
I want to address 2 key issues that some users brought up multiple times.
 
1 - Number of votes

After further discussion, it was deemed that more than a single vote is not needed.
 
Further contests will be single voted.
 
This is still subject to change in the future if there's some change in the way polls work, but for now we agreed that it's better to keep it single vote.
 
Main reason:
This is a contest, the goal is to pick the banner which people like the best, therefore by allowing 2 votes it would kind of destroy the meaning of "the best"
 
 
2 - "No more lolis pls"
 
Many people kept complaining it was completely unfair that a banner with a loli was running, because most part of the community likes lolis and thus they'd win their vote easily.
 
And this is my reply to that:
Everyone, no matter what their tastes are, is entitled to show what they like in their logo.
Just because the taste matches the majority's taste, that does not make it unfair.
The majority will always vote for the banner they like best, that's how the system works.
If your banner didn't get the most votes, that is not unfair either, it just means the majority preferred another banner.
That's how every contest will work, you shouldn't think of it as "my banner vs a loli banner" you should just see the banner with a loli as just another banner against yours and try to make yours as good as possible so you can get more votes. Advertise it! Show you're proud of it! Don't just go "well i'm against a loli so no chance I will win", that just takes away the point of this contest to begin with.
 
 
I get that a lot of users here like something you don't like (for those who were complaining about lolis), but those people are part of this community and they are entitled to show their tastes and you're being oppressive by not wanting them to participate.
 
Thus I will not ban lolis from future editions of the contest and that is final.
 
Just keep in mind that the goal is to create a banner you're proud of, it's not meant to be a contender in a death match.
 
And more to the point, there will always be 3 total winners. There isn't one absolute winner. So there's no reason to argue about one single banner when at least 2 other banners that had no lolis in them had a chance to be a second winner since they got the most votes.
