I'm still amazed that I managed to get them all. Motivation does some crazy things for me, like making me comb through forums and old streams for hours on end to find 9 anagrams. Seriously, it's a good thing I had no other plans the day I did it.

Also, looking at these anagrams again made me realize that I forgot the answers. If I forgot them after only a month or two, then they really WERE hard.

That's a great VN to get back into it all with, and I wouldn't exactly say Okarin~ is insane... He's definitely my favorite protagonist so far, ahead of Kyousuke from G-senjou and Ken from Sharin no Kuni because of his chuuni

I liked parts of Koihime, namely the initial scenario and how behind the cute harem there are details that are kinda dark.  However, I eventually l got sick of the level of H scenes in the midgame... it's not quite frequent enough that you could treat it as and call it a nukige, but it feels way too frequent if you're just trying to advance the plot.  It's not really my thing, but I could see other people liking it.

Supposedly it's going to be cv/cvl heavy in some way -- devs said something about needing bauxite.

I have impulse control issues. I stockpiled like 6k of everything, then went and blew it all trying to develop anti sub + evasion equipment... Now I'm broke again =/

I basically read when I should be sleeping, that's how I get through a lot of VNs...

There are definitely a few... I've played some by Christine Love (Digital: A Love Story, Analogue: A Hate Story), then there's Dysfunctional Systems and a really short (but good) VN by the same company as that, Juniper's Knot.  Long Live the Queen probably counts as well, though it's a bit game-y for a VN.
 
I feel like KS was a standout in terms of quality, but I did enjoy the others I listed above as well.
