Synopsis
Cila, a veteran cop with a sour outlook and anger issues expects nothing more from life besides the smell of ozone, blinding neon lights and the ever-present manhole steam. At least, until a shady friend replaces her broken-down housedroid as a favor.

Advanced, more efficient and remarkably perceptive, unit M.A.R.A. begins to penetrate Cila's toughened exterior and possibly even heal her new owner's old wounds – if Cila can decipher the recurring nightmare the process brings. Soon Cila and Mara forge a unique if sometimes uneasy bond.

Unbeknownst to Cila, just as her life begins to find its new normal, the technological giant Velta Labs gets wind of Mara's existence and takes a mysterious interest in the android. 

A war unlike any before it is brewing on the horizon, its players are silently being selected and one android's fate may spell the difference between peace, war, the blossoming of a new religion, or a technological singularity beyond comprehension.

I'm happy to announce that Iori's route will be publicly released tomorrow, with the full demo/KS launch happening on February 7th!

Already looks more interesting than frivolous Nekopara and the art is great too considering that it's an OELVN, the fact that it has voice acting is a good surprise too, quite rare for an OELVN.

I'm not actually all that big on Steins;Gate 0's translation. It was okay, about your average official VN TL really, but pretty clearly inferior to the original's. 
The fan group Committee of Zero say they're going to translate Noah. It seems they found a translator for that and will start soon, if they haven't already. Of course, Child is almost certainly going to release first, so if you don't want to wait for that, then reading normal C;H is the best you'll get. Who the fuck wants to play a VN on a PS Vita if he has a TV available?! Why should I exchange my huge TV screen with HD resolution and dolby surround sound system with a tiny little potato screen, which isn't even able to support todays high res VN resolutions and some second rated stereo speakers? And not to mention that I have my hands free for drinking coffee and... other important tasks and don't have to hold up this little cookie box the whole time.
Vita might be nice as a mobile device so you can play your VN's if you're on the way, but at home?!? LOL!!!

Inspired by the likes of Dark Souls, Earthbound, and various tabletop RPGs, Karmasutra is an intense, erotic hybrid RPG/Visual Novel taking place in a rich, detailed, open world.




Karmasutra takes place in the world of Tattva - a mysterious, heavenly realm that acts as the final challenge for sinners who seek the call of Nirvana in other worlds. Once home to ancient, sacred civilizations, these eras have now passed; in the wake of this passing, the realm has become an afterlife, a final challenge for restless wandering souls who commit sins in other worlds.

As our protagonist awakes in this strange land, he's quickly introduced to concept of Samsara; the journey across Tattva that all "Wanderers" must undergo to cleanse themselves of sin. Confused by this sudden pitch, our Wanderer also learns that this so-called "call of Nirvana" is not absolute; in fact, there are some Wanderers that choose to ignore the call in exchange for the infinite sexual & material pleasures - and dangers - that this mysterious afterlife seems to offer.

In this foreign realm however, Wanderers are not the only residents. From the sacred gurus who guide Wanderers and the demonic Asurian tricksters to the monstrous manifestations of sin and the Gods themselves, Tattva is never truly what it seems. But in this mysterious world, where both the path of Sin and the path Merit seem to lead to their own rewards and consequences, which path is truly correct? And more importantly, which path will you, the Wanderer, choose?




Karmasutra is a hybrid VN; it plays as an RPG, and interactions with NPCs are done in typical visual novel form.It takes place in Tattva, a large world, filled with many, many unique NPCs - all with h-scnes - and various smaller events and interactions that can be pursued in parallel to the main story.



Some features include a morality system, which will change the way characters interact with you and dictate certain events across the world of Tattva,




a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired tabletop exploration system, featuring a number of interesting and unique locations,





and a turn-based combat system with a unique twist - instead of just fighting, enemies can also be conversed with, randomly generated with one of many possible personalities per-type of enemy.

Progress
The game is currently scheduled for first quarter of this year, a lot of it is currently finished and holding for art. We're considering a crowdfunding campaign, but nothing is confirmed.

The CG artwork for the demo is complete! I am now confident in announcing that the demo release of Alpha's Adventures will be launched on the 17th of January, alongside the Kickstarter campaign!
