Well, back to the drawing board, I suppose.

It's clean, uncluttered, and easy to navigate with relevant information. That makes me a fan

Hey everybody,
Here's a preview screenshot of the new front site. If you have a sec and want to share your off-the-cuff impression, that would be helpful! Otherwise, there will be a closed beta that starts once the new front site is successfully re-deployed on the server. I hope to launch the site for-reals next week.
Thanks!

Could you add a link to the site in your post, for the lazy ones among us?
Edit: guess I should work on my reading comprehension, all we get are screenshots

Yeah, the top photo does feel a bit too large at the top. Aside from that the design is nice and neat. Fairly easy on the eyes.

The header feels a bit too big? I imagine it might be better if you cut off some of the height.
It looks great, though. The whole page. Seems beautiful and easy to browse, too.

It's been years since thoughtcrime was made an official bannable offense. How have you escaped my wrath for this long?
Nevermind. Don't answer that.

Firstly, @voidpointer, take note of the gentleman quoted above. His name is Tiagofvarela, and he's widely regarded as dangerous. Despite a generous bounty put on his head long, long ago, he's managed to dodge the judicious arm of the law, and even infiltrated deep into site staff. Just keep your eyes open. You never know when he's going to pop up.
Secondly, you got lots of good advice on this! @Decay and I write VN translation status updates on the blog every week, so that's worth tuning into. I don't blame you for missing it, though: we actually have several "sites" as part of Fuwanovel, but they're currently a bit disjointed. That'll hopefully be fixed this weekend/next week, when they're all combined into one (at http://fuwanovel.net). So once that's up, you'll have to tell me if you think things improved on the visibility front.
Thirdly, VNTL-Moon (http://moon.fuwanovel.net) is pretty cool, but it IS a bit outdated. I intend to get to it after the front site business is stable, though, so it should be a good resource again, soon. The way it works is that we pull the feed of translation teams' blogs. That means some groups (who don't have blogs, or feeds) can only be represented as links on the side, so that's a notable problem. The easiest way to keep up with news is thus ultimately our weekly VNTS posts on the blog.
