Little Busters and Rewrite would be a good call, though Rewrite has certain bittersweet moments... (They're both really long though. Especially Rewrite.) They're both made by Key too, so they should have a somewhat similar feel to Clannad. If you're finding something that deals with less drama, maybe Konosora would suit your needs. It's also shorter (and has more 'feel good' elements) than the aforementioned VNs. Hopefully my recommendations would prove to be useful

Yeah, I loved Kagari's new character too. It was a breath of fresh air. This episode doesn't feel as rushed as the previous episode. Still, I don't quite see how they're going to finish it in 5 episodes considering the fact that the OP had scenes from each of the heroine's routes

Think I found some typos and grammatical errors in the prologue (then again my English isn't perfect, either). Maybe it's just the style of writing or something, I don't know. It just feels a little off. Thanks for your response though.

Just started on Kira Kira. It has an interesting premise, but one thing that disturbed me quite a bit while reading the first few scenes was the translation. I don't know if it's just me, but the translation seems a bit... awkward. I was wondering if it stays like that throughout the novel, or if it gets eventually better.

Honestly I'm not so sure. If I had to say, it would be true. I don't quite see the appeal of H-scenes, but I feel like I'm missing out if they were to be removed. Next person enjoys OELVNs

That happened to me for Rewrite and Little Busters. For me, it'll just fade away after some time (1-2 weeks?), but in that short period of time I don't really try any new VNs and I just try to let time naturally help me get over it.

Kotori's route had to be my second favourite route. The sense of hopelessness really struck me hard. I can see where you're coming from regarding Lucia's route, but personally, I think the VN presented it in a way such that it looks more like the fault of the scientist's fault rather than hers. That probably caused me to mentally shift the blame to the scientists, and this it didn't really hinder my overall enjoyment of the route.

Yeah... The anime didn't quite have the same amount of build up or suspense. I felt that it was difficult for the viewers to fully comprehend the situation Lucia was in. Honestly, many parts of the episode made me cringe quite a bit. I was pretty disappointed that they butchered my favourite route in the VN, but considering the amount of episodes they were given, it's hard to blame them.
