  1. I'm currently reading G-senjou no Maou. Seriously, who the hell composed this mess of a score? First and foremost the fake classical sounds which blatantly copied the classic pieces really grated on my ears. Secondly, the music just doesn't flow well as BGM as intended. They all sound forgettable and really just shitty pretentious jazzy themes that carry with some piano notes. I'm sure with a different, more coherent OST this VN would flow much better. The writing is pretty messy although there's still a coherent narrative (I'm only reading past the kidnapping arc so it might get better). The characters are unlikable, if not downright despicable. Also what's with the head/body proportion? The main villain's head is laughably big compared with his body which is both stupid and hilarious at the same time. For what it's worth the VAs are actually quite good (still a mess, but at least above awful). UI is really nice and detailed, which is a huge plus. All in all my hype was misplaced with this VN. Mostly because of the score, but also because the overall design is nothing short of bad. I'm still finishing it though to get the big picture. It won't make my top 5 list, thats for certain.
  2. I personally categorize euphoria as nukige... balanced by heavy plot. People seeking sexual images as well as ones who enjoying both erotic scenes and good writing can both get something from it. Like I said, though the story had its closure, pretty much could still be exploited (the evil corps, "paradise", cult ...), that is assuming the company(and the fan) agree to have sequel at large portion. omg I loved this answer. You're right on spot. I think the devs initially intended Euproria to be fetish-fuled hardcore eroge and the plot was only added to boost the atmosphere. Turned out it was good enough to shine over the counterpart (sometimes making those 18+ scene redundant). I also agreed that they concluded nemu's story too fast after cultivating her evil image throughout the whole game. The conspiracy and evil corps experimenting was glossed over too fast, evidenced by the way they talked as little as while making us ponder about them every seconds. That said if they can somehow get any more from it I still get my eyes on it. Talking about KnS, damn how much time we have to way for the next game? I freakin' need closure for the story and it absolutely happens! KnS 3 better be on development. Yeah. The characters in Euphoria couldn't make me too excited if they appear as cameos. It's the case with many darked-theme VN where the bonds with characters are almost minimal.
  3. I don't know but... The ending of the game and epilogue implicate that potentials for the next game is not entirely nonexistent. As we knew the status quo in the game wasn't significantly shaken: companies A, B, C still operational; "paradise" is pretty much still active as the original sleeping beauty was not declared retired at all... Rinne still alive... In the end Nemu was shown not remember about MC but it implied she would eventually.... MC became involved with mafia/ hitman world with badass level greatly evolved. And he got his girl. So, has Clock Up made any statements regarding a sequel, spinoff, ... anything?I know it's been 8 years since its release, but a nukige with this good plot shouldn't die out.
  4. Hello people! I've been on the forum quite a few times, posted a handful of posts and am amazed by how helpful and encouraging you all are! Since I've started playing VNs for less than a year I've yet been able to comprehend so many VNs, especially the good ones. I hope to get more valuable VN's experiences on the forum and a lot of fun discussions! I think, to VN's readers, as well as other forms of art, the moment you truly appreciate one form of art is when you feels what the character in it feels, suffers when the one you follow through a vast number of hours suffers, rejoice when you know it's rewarding and satisfying after all, and be able to shred tears at the decisive moment. Yes I've experienced all of it, and that's why I began to truly appreciate not only the vn itself, but also the aftertaste it left me. It'd be really exciting if others share the same opinion like me after going through such experience. The VNs I've played so far are Steins;Gate,Muv-Luv series; KnS 1&2; Fate series; some Key products;.. (yeah big ones) and a few eroges in Japanese. I'm currently seeking ones with realistic art style with mystery and intriguing plot. I also translating a vn into my native language. I wish the forum would continue to nourish and VNs would be more popular in the community. Please be nice and loving. Thank you!
  5. I finished Kara no Shoujo 2 for > 1 week and, darn, I still can't get it out of my head. Whenever I put my back to the bed the ending keep appears in my head and kind of torment me, like what it did a time ago when I completely finished fate/stay night and and achieved "the last episode".... Well done the producers, you've done your work well. Any get the same experience in any game? If so did it get you distracted from it and turn back to normal?
