  1. I feel as though morals are more of a thing society imposes upon people, hence the reason why different cultures and societies have different morals. When you take away the ability of being watched, or having the ability to be anonymous or have no true consequences for your actions I feel as though people truly act differently. I don't see this only applying to an mmo only either, since when people visit foreign countries or new areas they don't usually act so forced because their own society doesn't have such a strong grip on them anymore. For me, online and especially in games "morals" go out the window, there are things i will do and will not do however i base them more off of the situation than a moral code
  2. the reviews for suika as+ make it look bad but goddamn, was full of amazing plot twists, story and well time music
  3. so is this a canon sequel to kajitsu or is this more of a fd/ what if stories?
  4. Well, if you're bored like me, let's play a game Basically, post a pic along with the name of a character(can be from anywhere really, but please try to avoid mega plot /twist spoiler characters) and put under it something like "hero or villain?". Then just post the answer around it, (in a spoiler tag of course). You can also give some reasoning behind your answer and/or give a link to the characters page/wiki etc if you want to as well. Don't get too hung up by hero/villain really its just more of a good or evil but thought hero/villain sounded cooler so yeah. Also before posting your own, try to answer the persons above you, not required though. Anyway good luck and lets get started Yaginuma Ryouichi Hero or Villain?
  5. Honestly I think english insults are really just visual more than anything. When you look at roasts/ diss tracks or even comedy skits almost all of them will use simple words and pretty much compare a person to something or make fun how they look, talk etc. and honestly I kind of like how our insults use such simple words but provide a huge visual impact. I mean its cool to call someone a bunch of dictionary terms but doesn't look/feel as insulting if you cant visualize it imo.
  6. basically, it has 5 routes on first walkthrough. at the end, u save the data to continue to harder mode(normal also can). at 2nd time, there is one true route added which is, well, u will know it soon. Choices: 1 point Boss Battles: 1 Point per Heroine in Party with Nozomu MVP: 5 Points Heart Battles: 1 Point per Heroine in party with Nozomu Izumo Shrine choices: 2 Points on selected Heroine (Narukana not available) Helping Narukana up in dream: 20 points (2nd run onwards only, you must avoid getting more points or equal with other heroines. TESTED. Its fun testing with L89 characters in Normal mode. *_*) Its ok to let Nozomu or any other character besides Heroines get MVPs. The game decides which girl you get for total points selected. the girl can have like 5 points only and you can still get her route as long as the others are below her. If she ties, it follows a priority system. If there is a tie, the girl on the top of the priority system gets the route: 1. Satsuki 2. Nozomi 3. Ruputna 4. Katima 5. Naya 6. Narukana The events with Nozomi in chapter 6 and Satsuki in Chapter 8 do NOT decide if you are on their route, and are actually part of the story. Also note that during the first trip into town in the alternate world, Nozomu will go to town with the girl with the highest affection aside from Satsuki and Nozomi and there will be a short event. THIS EVENT also does NOT decide that you are on that girl’s route, it just tells you who is where on the affection ladder, Priority is as follows: 1. Ruputna 2. Katima 3. Naya If you are however going for these girls, and you get their event, then its a good sign, however if you are going for Satsuki or Nozomi, it doesn’t mean its panic time, your Satsuki or Nozomi may still be on top, just that you’ll get to know who is rank 2 or 3 at that point. Why bother you ask? Simple, this means its your LAST chance if you decide you don’t want to go Satsuki’s or Nozomi’s route, all you have to do is have Nozomu pair with the desired girl and take the longer route in the 1st Izumo battle, which is loaded with Heart battles. Make sure you get the MVp for her and you’re set. This of course, applies if your Nozomi and or Satsuki hasn’t been intensely raking up affection points like crazy (every boss fight, mvp, every heart battle from Chapter 1-7, choices directed 100% to them only etc). If that’s the case, you’re screwed. xD took this off a comment on erogedl, but remember reading this on a walkthrough can't seem to find it anymore though. Also pretty sure i remember narukana having highest priority on route order
  7. I'm not talking about the brothel, i already unlocked that but i am trying to get jasmine to work nights at the tavern as a bar girl or dancer. Guides say just buy the dresses and talk to melsab, but when i try to their is only the option of "talk" which doesn't do anything.
  8. if you are a male, and looking for some good comedy check out kangoku gakuen . It's about 5 males that are the first and only ones accepted into a previously all female academy. They're also pretty much all pervets so far but the jokes and reactions they have are golden. (and they are actual, funny perverts not complete chicken ones like the protag from highschool dxd) only on chapter 4 rn but will update
  9. so tried it out, not a bad way to pass some time in between other games. My only question is how do you get jasmine to work at the tavern? i looked up guides and what not, and have the clothes but the option still does not appear when i try to talk to melsab?
  10. Doubt it will stop for a long, long time especially since it is a tried and tested formula that keeps yeilding results. Personally, I don't find that aspect of it too bad, but god i hate all the spineless, weak protags that are oblivious to any love advances and won't dare to try to talk or flirt with any of the female leads unless they convenintly fall down and pull off part of their clothes. Makes it even worse on how the male will usually be some unkown loser who can't fight for himself or has an weak or support only power yet despite just transferring and all the above, female leads still fall for him. Also really dislike the same spineless weak protag that literally get betrayed and played for a fool but will still forgive the females and try to be friends with them (and somehow it works). Thankfully it seems as though the emotionless and/or OP protag is starting to make a rise so hopefully all these spineless ones will fade out
  11. Overall nice and helpful list, but why do you have titles like absolute duo and chivalry of a failed knight when neither the ln's or anime are finished? Also could add shiki
  12. Thanks for the insight, and clarification. I started cross channel about a month ago, and got insanely bored within the first ~30-50 mins but ended up dropping it. Heard it gets alot better though is this true? I'll probably try out inagock, sharnoth followed by katahane. The other titles look interesting and pretty short so not much to lose and really liked the urobutcher when it came to psycho-pass season 1, so will check it out. Thanks for the titles Life and death drama really entertaining as well, probably wouldn't of found this on my own, thank you. Curious to what you mean with the execution deeply flawed though? Thanks for the replies as well but I've already read swan song, ayakashibito, saya, and g senjou. I guess being a translated pleb will only get you so far but I don't have the time to continue to learning jp at this time. I haven't read either of these two, but if anyone has read Chaos;Head https://vndb.org/v382 or phantom of inferno https://vndb.org/v45 would they fit/ and how would you rate them?
  13. sorry, was finishing updating list at time of post, read both and yes they would fit pretty well. probably going to try out yume but as far as grisaia goes is it better off waiting for the sequels?
  14. probably going to be a long post so i can explain clearly what i am looking for. As title goes, I am looking for a translated philosophical and or morally grey vn. The best way for me to describe what i am looking for is to relate other vns. The closest vn that i have probably read to what I'm looking for would probably be comyu, because iirc the characters aren't just good or bad, they all have their own demons and although it is somewhat of a good vs evil, it is deeper than that as a majority of them have their own ideals/reasoning behind their actions that aren't just plain. Somewhat of another vn that would fit this would be sharin no kuni (definitly with the fd) because although you can view one side as right or wrong, it is not clear cut like that especially with the fd where you can see the reasons behind why these characters did what they did. Anime examples would be code geass, death note because even though it is good/evil they all have their own reasons for doing what they do and you can understand why they act that way and sympathize with both sides In terms of philosophies I am mainly just looking for characters or the author to question what is "right/good" or "wrong/evil", or to just generally clash their ideals/methods against one another, not looking for something plain like "that's wrong, you shouldn't do that" or just "evil to be evil" The opposite of what I am looking for would probably be vns like Koihime Musou, or dengeki stryker where the good guys are just good, and the bad guys are just bad or something where they are just trying to stop an evil alien or something. hope this is clear enough and here's my current vndb: https://vndb.org/u116850/list also genre is irrelevant as long as it fits requirements
  15. Oh and now that i think about it, the reverse to this is that I truly hope that zetsuen no tempest does not get any more seasons. I loved the first season and went on to read the manga, and in there I found the most idiotic, lame and just most overall shit plot twist that i have ever read out of any other manga. I actually jumped out of my chair and yelled in anger at having wasted my time to get that far.
  16. how good is your english? ef a fairy tale of the two, is a pretty good lovestory
  17. euphoria, although your heart might not skip a beat in the way you want your best bet is probably ef a fairy tale of the two, but never ended up finishing it so wouldn't know. The h scenes with the main heroine in cartagra were also romantic
  18. read it as 5000th, feelsbadman.jpg Congrats though
  19. finished up watching shiki, it was good pretty much gave the morally gray/ philosophical vibes that I was looking for. Felt bad for megumi though Also watched guilty crown, really dont know why people dislike it so much. It is better than most of the harem/romance animes out there right now and at least the MC doesn't let everyone just walk over him and bow to his female overlords. The ost, animation and singing were pretty amazing too. The show also reminded me alot of mirai nikki. Really felt rushed at the end though. Also just wondering if (vibrant) pink hair= yandere/ crazy??? Alot of the animes and mangas I've been seeing the heroine with pink hair always has some kind of split personality, op ability, or is just crazy
  20. kaze no stigma would of been amazing, had the ln author been able to finish. Also really blows that there still is no season 2 to chrome shelled regios
  21. yeah for now, on a break from the standard harem, weak, protag. Tokyo ghoul season 1 is pretty good, wouldnt really reccomend the anime of season 2 since they branched away from the manga and kind of screwed themselves, would still reccomend the manga though its pretty good
