Ok, i just read that infamous scene in Muv Luv Alternate.
-
They're probably struggling with what to do about mare. Scrap her and piss people off or keep her h scene and maybe get into trouble. Stamp her as a 1000 year old dragon as much as you want, non weebs will label it as child porn. I dont really like thar scene, but im the type adamstan mentions. If something is censored then im not touching it. Majority of what im reading lately is non eroge though.
-
Well, maybe it's true and maybe it isn't. I haven't read it personally. There is a chance the writer naturally gravitates towards a h scene buildup even though there aren't any. I am assuming that is the type of scenario the writer is used to

hmm? wouldnt be censorship if there wasnt any hscene in the first place you know.

All vn's should have skip to choice options in this day and age.

While i enjoy more or less every long Key vn.. Little busters was at least one head above the rest in enjoyment overall. It was just so funny and so damn good. -

Well that cover looks like everything else. I'd not give it a second glance if i had no prior knowledge. Im reading muv-luv extra and i really enjoy it. I love that it isnt taking itself very seriously and is just about good humor and fun. A bit in the vein of majikoi. Humour in newer stories got nothing on this. My one complain would be character art. Most are fine but some are... just plain weird looking.

Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After is officially released

Hmm, is volume 3 on steam volume 4 on vndb? Amount of games line up, but the numbers in their names don't. -
People are damn weird about this visual novel. They'll tell you how much it sucks, but if you ask why, they'll shut their mouths tighter than a nuns legs. Why? Don't ask me, this won't ever be translated so it doesn't really matter.

Clannad and the possibility of characters on the spectrum
Stormwolf replied to crazyjosiah's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I think you're onto something here -
Males suffer the same fate though, just in a different way. Dense as bricks, or just no personality and we rely on the side cast to make it somewhat entertaining. It seems they suffer the same fates really, its just opposites of each other. Japanese living in upside down world as usual. They make no sense.

I think so, but its hard to pinpoint since its very contradictive. You can see boys being very prim and proper (mostly the protagonist), very unlike actually teenagers with raging hormones. Accidents happen (they are accidents) and the girls will punish them, or they get punished by some other circumstance. They never drink alcohol even if it's a time period where age limit would not be a thing. And you can probably pile on more examples, but i can't think of any atm. The contradictive part is that it's the self insert being primed to act properly, yet they are showing all these things to real boys. I cannot see the logic, if there are any. Girls however... I dunno if there are discriminatory reasons for this, but they seem much more free to write girl protagonists however they want. They can be lewd, they can drink even underage, they can spy on guys when they're bathing etc. This happened in male animes too, but 20 years ago.

I know what you mean. Its fine once or twice... well, not really, but i can stomach it. But some vn's or animes take it way too far.
