Honestly, it depends of which aspect you're talking about. Clannad is my favorite VN so far mainly because there are so many routes and the novel pretty much throws you into the wolves in regards to choice-making. However, i'd probably call it overrated if we're only talking about the story.

Fate/Stay Night, but if the removal affected history i'd easily pick YU-NO.

Don't feel like making a extra thread. Is there a VN (Netori or NTR, either works) with a scene where the cheated guy hides in a closet to see if his woman is cheating on him, so the male cheater locks the guy in and starts screwing the female cheater against the closet door?

Had this weird-ass dream where there was a VN with the 11eyes art style which was about the MC going up against three female vampires. Somewhere in the story, i got a joke choice between fortifying his mind or fortifying his dick. If i choose to fortify his mind and later on choose to give in to the vampires' temptation, you get a bad ending where they just kill the MC after having their fun with him. However, if i fortify the dick, it leads to a joke ending you get no choice but to give in to the temptation but the fortified dick makes the vampires fall in love with the MC and give up their goals of domination.

I think that the writers were betting on you re-reading or reflecting on the common route after playing all the regular routes so that you'll look at it in a different way once you know the sources of the girls' comedy traits. That's probably why it was so long and comedy-heavy.

Marina Hojo from Eve Burst Error, mainly because i remember hating her and loving Kojiroh at first, and by the end of the story i had the exact opposite opinions.

Played Air's common route and thought the MC not being a high-schooler really helped things. Also, the MC seems to have better chemistry with the mature ladies than with the barely-legal girls to me. I'll be kinda busy this week, so i'll go for a regular route this weekend.

Finished If My Heart Had Wings, bringing my number of dropped VNs down to under 15. I thought it was decent at best, as good-looking as the backgrounds are it was pretty easy to get bored by the plot before the good moments here and there. Also finished Tomoyo After and having played the original version the prologue, middle and epilogue felt so disconnected from one another. It's like the Author started with the epilogue, thought it was too short, wrote the prologue as a setup and still thought it was too short, then wrote that whole middle.

After a 2 year hiatus, i finally finished all Katawa Shoujo routes. Overall it was fine for a first attempt by that team and i can see how a VN virgin could be impressed by it.

Eve Burst Error? I remember being impressed at how awesome the female main in that turned out to be.

I remember only liking Koyuki and Tsubame in that. Monshiro and Tatsunee felt like first halves of really good routes, and Kokoro and Margit felt like would be side routes on the original novel.

Finished Hate Plus (it felt pretty much the same as the original), so now my number of dropped VNs is down to under 20. Woo!

Finished Noble Works and when comparing it to Dracu-Riot, i'd say that Noble Works is better at romance and Dracu-Riot is better at everything else. Shizuru has my favorite YukuSoft route so far, btw.

Honestly, i think the most shocking part of it were the first few seconds with that imagery and that music. The only other scene that felt disturbing to me has pretty tame visuals (talking about that threesome).

Have you played the original Yami no Koe? The H art looks good so i'm wondering if you'll like what you see there.

Played Remember11 and as much as i like the gameplay, it's predecessor in the infinity series was much better at the fourth-wall breaking stuff. Researching 2 or 3 websites outside of the game to finally figure out what happened is ridiculous.

I had an oddly entertaining night yesterday. I had an illegal stream of a live WWE event on one tab, a live reaction to said event on other, and a Hentai Gaming stream on a third one. The highlights were either me watching Rinne from Euphoria's Bad End H scene with reactions to wrestling in the background or me playing Rose Guns Days music during the World Title match.

It's pretty fun to see certain elements of it that were used by the later works of that team when they became Key.

Finished A Profile and definitely think i enjoyed it more than most people. All 3 girls are creepy weirdos, btw.

I think you should give Mera's route a try, as that was the best route IMO (a bit cliche with the racial approach, but is more than you can say for the other routes). You can skip Elina's and Nicola's routes no problem though. (Elina's was 2 hours of decent romance and then 4 hours of build-up for a villain that ended up crappy and Nicola's was 3 hours of sexual tension until a new character tries to save the route and fails)

Played Rizu's route from A Profile, and it made me wish Kaine was the actual MC. Also, i thought rejecting the H scene would lead to a bad ending and it turned out to be a better ending, lol.

Finished YU-NO after some marathoning, so here's my thoughts (might have some unpopular opinions): The Good - Great OST, characters are memorable enough, the puzzles between routes are amazing (best showcased in Kanna's route), plot twists are coherent, historical value for being the first VN with multiverse approach. The Neutral - Storytelling is about as good as the Hideo Kojima adventure games making me wonder why people were so blown away, the gameplay towards the end of Mio's route can be a little tedious. The Bad - The final route is ruined by a certain kind of romance for me. Overall it was good (i'd even call it great gameplay-wise), but i don't consider it one of my all-time favorites. Maybe i'm failing to put things on context properly or something.

Reviving this because i felt inspired: A multiverse-based VN where the main character can't avoid his death fate because the villain has too much willpower to lose in any reality at that point in time, but before dying he impregnates the true route girl and his daughter takes care of the villain in a lenghty after-story. Another one: a VN where the big plot twist is that all Eroge heroines are actresses over 18 that pretend to be teenagers like in regular porn, which would explain the discrepancy between the "all are of legal age" disclaimers and the heroines being first and second-years.
