Good luck! On a side note, doesn't this belong in Translation projects, rather than TL discussion.

Guide to editing Dracu-Riot! patches (Version 1)
Install Python 3 (the programing Language) Download ks.scn_tools.7z from here Extract it to a folder Read the Readme.txt Mess around with “krkrxp3_example.bat” (Instructions later) Run “krkrxp3_example.bat”. It will extract the patch The extracted files are usually in a directory called “scriptfiles”. It’s mostly *scn files. Find "extract.py" and change all instances of "cp932" to "utf-8" Run “dump_scripts.bat” It will extract the *scn into *txt files. Edit the text files. (NOTE: Keep the line structure exactly the same, otherwise bugs happen.) Save, Save, SAVE. Or better yet, use Notepad++ Run “insert_scripts.bat” to insert the edited lines back into the *scn files The edited *scn files are in “/scriptfiles/inserted/” Copy those *scn files into “patch” directory. If directory doesn't exist, make it. Run “make_patch.bat” Voila, your own patch (Rename it). General guidelines to follow
Everything relies on Dracu-Riot being installed in the Program Files Directory (as if it installed from a disk). Change the INSTALLDIR in "krkrxp3_example.bat" to the directory where DRACU RIOT is installed For advanced tweekers
The other *bat and *py files are for image manipulation. Use those according to the readme included. You can extract game files as well. Just put the relevant line in "krkrxp3_example.bat" What! Even more notes
This will not work with Staircase Sub's patch. They use a different encryption You can tweak practically anything in those *bat files. Can also mess with the *py files for interesting results. Krkrxp3_example.bat

A patch is up, even if the post doesn't say so. Looks like the latest is Chapter 7.3.
 
Edit: It looks borked at the time of writing. Up to 7.1 was fine.

Hello there,

This is a project to add translations to the Miu-path of Dracu-Riot! For translations i am using Visual Novel Reader Community Translations (when they are available) and if they are not then i use kelvincomes translations. I do not speak Japanese so i cannot proof read the texts when i am transferring them to the game patch. I cannot comment on the quality of the translations, even though VNR-community translations are up to bar in my opinion.

And for further clarification, i am not translating anything, just transferring already translated text to the game. Only reason when i check GTranslate for the translation is when the sources where i get my translations do not match or there is multiple translations . That is why i need to use GTranslate to get the context out of it (sometimes it helps, sometimes i know the context because i am "playing" the game at the same time). After that i can make a better call on which translation to use in the situation.

If someone spots errors in translation and wants to sacrifice their time to help me to correct them just send me a pm/email where you include the piece of translation which is wrong and the proposed fix for it (and if you are feeling really frisky, some explanation why).
And if you have too much free time and nothing better to do, i can send the whole chapters for you to read and modify. You do not necessary even need to speak Japanese, if you speak English as a native speaker you can help with the sentence structure etc..
Lastly, if the game starts to crash when using my patch or something in those lines, send me the error and as much information that you can get.

For version control, going to name the patches with the latest chapter that has been included.
Ie. Patch3_54 -> chapter 5.4 has been included in the patch.
