  1. You can create your own blog on Fuwa and write about everything from promoting your games, articles, thoughts about other games and visual novels and whatever comes up. One of the things I would like to read about is your creative process. What is your workflow from ideas to an actual product. How do you come with ideas and then write stories. All kinds of things. Making a new thread to advertise your new game is good but if you want to have some freedom a blog is a nice way to do it. You can have a link to your blog so people don't miss it.
  2. Why don't you just put each candidate in a separate spoiler tag. This way you won't need to hide the text your self. I think that would make things more comfy and easier to read. I know how hard it is to find information and write about old and obscure visual novels. I have written a lot of articles about old visual novels but for one reason or another decided not to publish them. So yeah, I know it's an incredibly difficult task. So do as much as you think you can.
  3. You don't need to hide the entire text. I like to be surprised but this is too much, lol. Another thing is perhaps you could write a few more details about each game. Why you think it's good or bad, why is it not winning vn of the year, some detailed thoughts will be helpful.
  4. Maybe Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale.
  5. I think the entire Final Fantasy 13 series is available for pc. If you liked Tales of Zesteria you might also like Tales of Berseria.
  6. It's an awesome series. Not perfect and if you dig too deep you'll find all kinds of plot holes and stuff like that. But it's still one of the most unique and special visual novels series ever made.
  7. The best thing to do is to try something yourself. Most chuuni titles are going to be the hardest ones to read. Most charage will be the easiest ones to read. Anything else is in between.
  8. Hey man, good luck with this new game. It looks pretty sweat if you ask me. I'm curious about the story though. But keep writing and making games. I know your games bring lots of joy to lots of people so keep at it.
  9. In no particular order: 1. Evolimit - I hear good things about this one. 2. Ikusa Megami Zero - This one is supposed to be one of the best jrpgs. 3. Baldr Force - Sky is already under translation but won't come out in 2017 but we can always hope for Force to come out this year. 4. Chaos;Child - Chaos;Head was really good. It had a few things going against but it is still one of the better vns I played and one of the best entries in the science adventure series. Chaos;Child looks incredible and I was told the story is rally good too. 5. Gensou no Idea - If we are getting Sorcery Jokers (hopefully this year) then why not Gensou no Idea. 6. Kajiri Kamui Kagura - The Dies Irae series just wouldn't be complete without it. It is one of the most unique looking visual novels I ever played with a great and interesting story and characters. 7. Soushuu Senshinkan Gakuen Hachimyoujin (+ Bansenjin) - I want this game in English period. And while at it bring the sequel too. 8. Harumade (+ Natsukumo + Akikuru) - Harumade is scheduled for official English release. But what about the other games in the series? WHAT about the other games? 9. Machi (+ 428) - For years I've been the owner of these Chunsoft games but have not got to play them because they are in Japanese. I probably can play them right now but an English release of both will be nice. 10. Dies irae ~Interview with Kaziklu Bey~ (+ Paradise Lost) - Just like I said in the Kajiri Kamui Kagura entry, the Dies Irae series will not be complete without these two. Interview with Kaziklu Bey has a good chance to come out but Light probably wants to forget Paradise Lost every existed. It was honestly a pain making this list because I could easily get into the 60's here.
  10. I don't really know you but if I had five hands I guess I'll give you four thumbs up. I guess.
  11. I only played the Redemption and Bloodlines computer games. Both are very unique rpgs with very interesting scenarios.
  12. Are you talking about Vampire the Masquerade games? I don't remember what kind of system they had but that sounds about right.
  13. I just want to add that just because FF8 and Lunar had level scaling it didn't make level grinding obsolete. Even with the level scaling you still feel your characters get stronger. If a boss scales with you, you still have a better chance of beating him if you're on a higher level than on a lower level. But I prefer not to have level scaling or perhaps have a system where you don't have leveling up system. But then this probably won't be an rpg anymore.
  14. Level scaling is the worst thing jrpgs ever did. Who even thought it was a good idea. The whole point of leveling up was to get stronger and defeat your enemies easier. But with level scaling there might as well not be any levels. The game should just have a constant difficulty curve. I reaching level 99 in FF8 but what this did is gave the boss a 1,000,000 HP. Maybe not so much but it sure felt like it. Another game that had level scaling is Lunar The Silver Star Story Complete. I think it was only in the English playstation version. As always, Working Designs fuck up a game by 'fixing' it.
  15. I don't know. I had a similar problem where the game stopped working. But I have formatted my computer since then and now it works. The best solution I can think of is try to run it on a virtual machine.
  16. Did you try to reinstall the game?
