I don't speak or read Japanese, I'm already struggling with Cantonese (shame for someone who had lived here for a long time ha ha!) so I'm pretty lucky I managed to stumble upon this website. I've been watching anime for a while now, even reading some English translated light novel here and now. I'm currently interested in visual novels, but I don't know where to start. Any recommendations for a new visual novel reader? I am pretty flexible; any work, as long as you think it's good and/or memorable. Thanks in advanced! If you want something short and sweet, perhaps Planetarian, or Narcissu. It's definitely a bit weirder than a lot of VNs people usually recommend, but if you end up being fine with it you'll be fine with pretty much anything other VNs throw at you.
