The difference is just using blood type vs. birth date as a means of prediction. This was mostly for fun. For me, astrology (Western) is kind of a mixed bag. Usually the words they use to describe you are generic enough that it covers 90% of the people listening, but you have no idea so you think it's personal to you. Thou you get the point, Cold Reading relies on target to get the information while the operator taking the 'credit' for it. Edit: As for how accurate these are, obviously they work the same way any personality test based on a small number of factors works - each result fits 70% of people on several points, and the remaining 30% have less matching points, so it's never completely wrong. Still, I voted that they somewhat represent my traits because I don't think I'm a cold person, and as for being centered, I am more about pleasing others and making everyone happy over myself. I dunno, according to this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_type_distribution_by_country the O+ group is anywhere from 27% to 48% of a country's population.
