As in title.
But since I'm a man who likes to drag simple things for long, I will write some introduction to this thread. Just for a calm of a heart, and to avoid people like Funya shouting at me to start reading Ever17 ASAP. :P
So. I I'm tired at this moment. I stalled Grisaia, which was unfunny and ultra booooring (with a lot of stupidity). OI just couldn't stand it anymore. But I will came back to this (I have like 5h of Makina, whole Michiru and Yumiko to read).
I'm really sloooooowly finishing last 3 routes of I/O. I/O is really good, but I can't get hyped for it. Climax was in route E, and now I feel like I'm just eating leftovers, so it drags and drags.
I also stalled Killer Queen in the middle, at the start of second 'part/chapter/route'. Shits boring. And shitty. Like really. No redeeming qualities, and when I found out that this route will be about some loli animal I just couldn't.

I could just decide to read something I know I will get hype for like Swan Song or mentioned Ever17, but I don't want to read it in such a miserable state I'm now. I want to be on reading spree when I come to them.
So I'm looking for something totally new to read. This three titles were off my radar for very long and I just came across them rather recently.

And here it is, my question.
    Aoishiro    Dengeki Stryker    Duel Savior
Can you write something about them? Simple things like 'engaging/boring story', or 'a lot of humour builded on stupidity of characters', or 'a lot of pointless sex scenes really early on', etc? I need some info to decide which of this three read in nearest future, so I need some data. And vndb obviously don't provide that.

Aoishiro is throughly average... It's pretty fun and the lead is kinda cute, but it's not something I'd suggest to most people.

Dengeki Stryker... Ugh. Overdrive.

It could potentially be good, I guess, depending on how you enjoy their style. I personally can't stand it, but to each their own.

Duel Savior... Hm.

The protagonist is a pervert. In our world, he kept switching from girlfriend to girlfriend with no end, much to his sister's displeasure. He's also a bit of an idiot - He's quite cool when it counts (fight scenes) and he doesn't get rolled over by the heroines, so I actually like him.

The routes get progressively better, but a lot are locked and you have to play them in a certain order, the first ones are either bad or average... The last few ones are pretty nice, though.

Do these things annoy you?

If so, you shouldn't play it.

It has a pretty fun gameplay system that doesn't interfere with the game too much but you can sink time into if you want to, too.

Depends of what you're in the mood to read. Aoishiro is more mystery with lots of stuff from Japanese mythology while Dengeki Stryker is more action and comedy. Both are decent but not without flaws.

Duel Savior was amongst the worst VN's I've ever read with an absolutely horrible protagonist. Can't really suggest that one.

In which way? What was so horrible about him?

Mystery in Aoishiro is more like creepy/dark/tension thriller way, or more daylight, fun 'treasure hunting/Indiana Jonesy' mystery type?

Is comedy in Dengeki more about perverted scenes(most charage)/character quirks(grisaia...), or maybe from intelligent banter(Majikoi, G Maou)? Or maybe slapstick like in MuvLuv Extra?

Never read anything from them. Yet. Is something really distinctive about their style?

So, many pointless sex scenes just for the sake of it? And to add insult to injury - with younger sister who wants his dick? That suxx. ;p But if he ' oesn't get rolled over by the heroines ' that's a big plus.

He generally finds a way to have sex with the heroines, be it forcing them or exploting a guillible aspect of their world view, yes. It's fairly funny.

People who like your usual non-descriptive VN protagonist won't like him, since he's a tad too overwhelming for that, but at the same time, he doesn't appeal to people who want intelligent protagonists either, generally fitting into the hot-blooded archetype. He's also voiced by the guy who does Shirou in Fate, lol.

His sister does go yandere in her own route.

Let's just say overdrive obviously writes their games with a teen audience in mind, and it does show in their characters, development and dialogue.

Coming from a mystery fan, Aoishiro is just kinda boring.

Cho Dengeki Stryker - I like Overdrive and found CDS to be a somewhat fun read, but it's also pretty standard fare. You won't find anything in it that you wouldn't find in your run of the mill shounen action manga. It's pretty unremarkable, but still has some fun moments and some actually pretty decent humor in the common route. I kinda liked it.

Duel Savior - Meh. It's kinda funny. The protagonist's voice acting is great and completely sells the humor, if you use that version of the translation patch (you should). The routes are pretty mediocre. There's too much repetition in their storylines I it gets really old after a while. The gameplay sucks. It's easy and incredibly tedious. Overall a very mediocre experience that I didn't like much at all.

Aoishiro - Super boring. I couldn't finish it.

Well I've reviewed both Cho Dengeki Stryker and Aoishiro, so here are my thoughts on them:

http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2015/04/games-for-adults-and-everyone-cho.html

http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/playable-import-games-for-everyone-aoi.html

Of the two I'd favor Cho Dengeki Stryker more since the characters are more enjoyable.

Kinda want to to comment on those 3 here, but my comment maybe will not helpful to you though. Oh, by the way I'd like your new avatar compared to previous one.

Aoishiro - For medium and 2008 VN, the size was big (7.7 GB). This VN had female MC who goes to the southern beach (Japan obviously) in order to do kendo training camp (By the way, the kendo club was from all female school). The graphic was admittedly very good and could be comparable to some recent VN, mostly owe by the big size. As for actual mystery, I think it was quite simple and it was revolving around the island across the training camp location and had some Japanese mythology. The VN itself also had quite a lot of food porn, and I think you could made the stupid decision by yourself to reach one of many bad ending here. The seiyuu involve in Aoishiro was some big name like Rina Sato (Nami) and Noriko Hidaka (Our MC herself). As for the music, it was composed by MANYO and I'd remember that one of the troper at TV Trope said that one soundtrack remind him of Ar Tonelico. Oh, and by the way there's no sex scene instead they add blood sucking scene for necessary sex thing (You know, to restore mana thing). Just remember that Kawashima Rino also had role in this VN, although this time she using her real name though (Mizusawa Kei).

Duel Savior - Well, the MC kind of pervert and his younger sister was slightly attached to the MC. The premise was like MC and the heroine was thrown off to the medieval world which apparently the basic world for all of parallel world. And while MC younger sister (Mia) chosen as hero candidate was quite normal, the MC here (Taiga) chosen as hero candidate was quite abnormal since all of previous hero candidate was female. So Taiga decided to stay at the medieval world and decided to find out what's the meaning behind his situation. Oh, and actually the world was under constant threat from the forces who named themselves Ruin, and actually the hero candidate was needed to fight the Ruin. By the way, other than Mia and Taiga we had 5 more hero candidate which all of them was female of course. Also we had sort of battle which looks like from Tales game, but still not like Seinarukana or Eien no Aselia in term of complexity though. For the seiyuu, we had Nabatame Hitomi and Shizuka Itou there if you apply PS2 voice patch here (You should, and by the way Taiga and Mia seiyuu (PS2 obviously) was also Shiro and Sakura (Fate/Stay Night) seiyuu). Oh, I forgot to mention that sex scene here was quite a number here, and PS2 version change it with fanservice scene instead.

Chou Dengeki Stryker - The premise was like our MC was made some kind of wish to becoming hero from the manga. And so in his 17 years old his wish fulfilled, but not without some interesting situation mainly the villain from the manga also came to the real world. Of course our MC here need to fighting the bad guy themselves. As for sex scene it was only a little and appeared near the end I think. Well, I could comment that the OP was singing by Masaki Endoh, which was quite hot blooded imo. And I think the VN was more like shonen or super robot anime with addition, you knew H-Scenes. Anyway, I think you'll find it nostalgic if you like super robot anime in the past. Oh, and for the seiyuu I'd remember that Megumi Oogata here also played a character here. And you better play Cho version instead of normal version because Cho had 6 routes, also both of version was translated anyway.

Anyway, for the conclusion (Also a little opinion from mine) Aoishiro would be medium length but gorgeus VN with mystery that influenced by Japanese mythology. Duel Savior was more like standard harem comedy in medieval world with perverted MC. Cho Dengeki Stryker would remind some user of classic super robot anime, and actually I'd watch Daigunder in the past and the opening was also sing by Masaki Endoh, so I'd kind of nostalgic hearing Dengeki Stryker opening (Forgot to said that both version of Dengeki Stryker had different opening). As for one common thing in those 3 VN, I think all of the 3 VN had chuuni element imo.

I think that's all for my opinion here, and hopefully my comment was helpful to you Vorathiel.
