  1. The season is looking pretty decent so far although nothing spectacular yet. I will definitly be checking the second episodes of: Orange, this one could be quite the fun watch and so far i like the characters Amanchu: Being from the same author that did aria this one will most likely also make for some sweet dreams, although i am afraid they will over use the funky faces. Alderamin, Having read the manga till now this series could become quite a solid one, but so far the anime adaptiopn has not shown its card yet for me. Will definitly need to check out the second episode. 91 Days, i think this could become this seasons best show, but well these shows have a tendency to crash and burn at the halfway mark. Planetarian, well having read the vn i could not possibly skip this , even though i already dread the ending Time travel girl, this could become a fun series or turn into trash, for me that will depend on the character development.
  2. Nice to see the problem mostly fixed. One thing you could still try is installing it to a different directory. You probably have it installed in you program files folder on your C disk, this folder is often write protected. I suggest making a new folder somewhere that is not in your programs folder and installing the game there. It is likely that you don't even have to run it in administrator mode then. For example: C/visual novels/MaijkoiS
  3. This is strange, the only thing i can think of now is that it has to do with permissions. So where did you install the game? And could you try running it with administrator permissions, and see what happens.
  4. welcome and have fun
  5. If the above solution works forget about this, But first a question, in what way does the game not save your settings and progress? Does the game retain settings and progress so long as you don't reboot the pc, or does it lose the settings as soon the game is closed? If it is the first, the game is saving its files in a place that gets cleaned out by you pc. The save folder should be found in this directory, assuming you are running windows 10. If you are not look for a folder named along the same lines like my documents. If you find find a save game there and you cant save the game, then it is most likely stored in some themporary folder which gets deleted when you are done. Easiest solution i can give you is to reinstall the game and ensure that the game saves its files in this directory. C:\Users\User name\Documents\みなとそふと\真剣で私に恋しなさい!S
  6. currently reading maijkoi A-2, seinakura and the labyrinth of grisaia. Having a lot of fun reading maijkoi and Grisaia, seinakura is kind of on hold until i finish one of these.
  7. Disaster has struck for me, for some reason windows decided to go and give me troubles with 100% disk usage even when just booting up firefox. Tried all fixes i could find and unfortunatly none worked for me, so i have just reinstalled windows. And can go and fix my visual novels again
  8. Not really if the dike were to ever break, the top of the house might be just above the sea level or just not.... depens on the water level in river as well. still have a inflatable rubber boat just in case. Well i guess we do never have floods in this area because of all the water that has to be pumped out anyway to keep the ground level acceptable. Something you cant say about America, Canada, Great Britain or pretty much any other country.
  9. If only that was my case, would love to have some space around. To bad i live about 6 feet below sea level, and the only few from my window is the neighbours house.
  10. Thanks for the update, unfortunatly the problem lies with the installation of the game and not the playing of it. and i can not seem to find anything on this.
  11. Thanks managed to get Muv luv alternative and altered fable working just now. Also managed to get dual savior working, no such luck with the origional muv luv though, i still can not get it to install Also the resource link for the muv luv fix and explanation somehow get me to a threat about a forum rollback.
  12. So I have just builded a new pc with a clean 64bit windows 10 install. Now i have been going past all installed vn's and most still worked just fine. The ones that no longer worked i managed to get working with a new install, except for the muv luv series and Duel savior. With duel savior i get a direct draw error and cant get the game to boot properly. I already tried running it in compatibility mode (windows xp service pack 3) and that did not fix the problem. I could really use some help with it. With muv luv I can not even get the installer to run and, i get the following error's. I also tried installing it with the english patch but that one hangs at some point and does not go further. I realize that we will be getting a official translation of the muv luv series, but those are not out yet and it just feels wring not having them installed. Altough i will definitly be buying them when they get released. I could really use some help with these.
  13. Just started all my installed vn's most still work some need a reinstall. Stupid question but does anyone know if muv luv works on windows 10?
  14. I know, but what has that to do with the question? I just did not get it, maybe i am stupid.
  15. Oke so does that mean they come whit the font installed in the game directory or do i still need to download it? Whish there was some theath about this somewhere on the forums with a list of font you need to download. Guess i will have to find out about it the hard way. Thanks for the effort anyway.
  16. SO about a day into the build of my new pc and everything is pretty much installed. Still some settings to iron out and minor troubles to fix. There is only one thing i forgot and that is that most vn's use non standard font and i cant remember which ones they were. Does anyone know which of the font that dont usually come with windows need installing for VN's?
  17. 200 hours into a rpg is not much by your standards? I propably have over 400 hours in fallout 3 and i am still ashamed to admit it, dont regret any second of it though
  18. welcome to the forum, and have a good time.
  19. Well nobody probably noticed, but I have not been posting for pretty much the entire year. I did lurk around the site though. As for why, well it has been a pretty hectic year. In the last quarter of my third study year my mother got diagnosed with breast cancer and that really took up most of my time last summer, together with assuring I did not flunk anything. Well afterwards during summer vacation I was basically in charge of the household, as my mother just had her surgery and was starting on chemotherapy. She did not react well to it and got herself a urine way infection and spend the next two weeks in the hospital. After the summer vacation I was busy again with school this time for my final year and having to deal with my minor, as well as a lot of stress at home. After the second term I had to start on my internship and on my bachelors thesis, which basically comes down to a full work week. My mother was still recovering at that point and I did not get along with my supervisor, which did not help with all the stress. Somehow or another I still managed to succeed and get my bachelor, still haven't quite figured out how I managed to do it. So yeah I managed to get my bacherlor in chemistry. Only thing left now is to decide what to do afterwards. Still have not quite figured out what to do next. I am torn between finding a job and going for a master in chemistry. I just cant seem to make my mind up about it, working sounds like a good decision but I wont be earning as much as I would with a masters degree. On the other hand if I go for my masters degree, I will have to start living on my own (no problem there), but I will also have to pay for that all. Which will mean I have to start borrowing, and that will probably amount to 30.000- 40.000 euro which to me is quite the sum. I just cant seem to figure out what the right decision is. (Note it was not my parents paying for everything, were I come from you get studiefincanciering for 4 years or the length of your study which covers most of the costs minus any material needs.) I just needed to get that off my chest for a bit. That and brag a little bit .
  20. My morals in online gaming mostly stay the same as in real life. Biggest difference being that i can quit playing before i start swearing and getting really mad. it is not worth it to get seriously angry wile playing an online game, it takes the fun out of the game and makes it stressfull. I play games mostly to relax so getting genuinely mad is not worth it. Makes me wish i could guit real life for a day when i get mad..... Altough i must admit i do kind of enjoy poking a hornets nest with a stick when playing games like world of tanks and world of warships. And that i generally am a bit more sarcastic and spiteful.
  21. I feared as much, I live in holland and we usually pay using IDEAL here. Which is the most convenient paymethod available here and basically like paypal and an alternative to a credit card. Unfortunately it still only works using dutch banks which means that buying from most shops placed outside of Holland that they don't support the option. In those situation i go to paypal as i dont own a creditcard, there is simple no need to own one in holland.
  22. from sleep, or because you don't have the patience to wait for A-2? Will start on it tomorrow myself, as well as grisia.
  23. Pretty sure the dutch had a referendum before the British, twice...... 1. about the European constitution, which we rejected because ours was simply better. We got the European constitution anyway. 2. The one about the Ukrainian association agreement, we voted no again. Well lets just say nothing has happend yet because our prime minister want to use the smoke laid by the British to either sign it anyway, change it or not ratify it. (My geuss he is going to sign it anyway and hope no one notices) From a personal standpoint, the European Union could have been a great thing that would be beneficial to just about everyone. But as it is now, The sooner it dies the better. That and seeing it burn seems like it would be interesting.
