i agree with you there, the protag really managed to get on my nerves, but the story was good enough to actually make up for it.

I literally skipped one of the highest rated VNs just for that reason, lol. I can't handle it. I was crushed with Yume Miru.. after a few VNs like that, I started following walkthroughs and even spoiling the ends of anime (after I watched katanamonogatari and others I can't think off the top that ended sadly) just to avoid that. I was depressed for ages after absolutely loving Inu Boku SS, then reading what actually happens in the manga or w/e.. my God. I just convince myself (it's hard) that the anime is canon. Are you saying muv luv extra itself is perfectly readable and ends on a happy note. Mul luv unlimited does not end on a happy note but also not on a bad note. As for mul luv alternative, I have no idea how to explain it becous it ends really wierd.

So what happend to the translation of fortune arterial. We have not seen updates in a little more than half a year. So i am beginning to wonder wenether the translation project is still alive. I realize it is not entirely uncommon for a project to not be update for a long time. But I am beginning to worry. An a related note the guy who does the translation has not yet been abducted by aliens, I did manage to find his anime-sharing profile and he is quite alive there. But that does not say anything about the translation project. So does anyone have some news on it?

You know sometimes i wish i learnes japanese instead of IUPAC and a bit of Latin Well atleast we were lucky enough to have the two main heroine routes translated for this vn. Can't say the same about fortune arterial and dracu riot. welcome, If you are looking for a good story try fate/stay night. Just recently a new patch came out for it to translate the realta nua version. Other than that try tsukihime it is quite dated visually wise but has got a great story. And no there is no tsukihime anime...... it does not exist i refuse to aknowlige it. Anything type moon is generally very good. If you want something lesser know true eien no aselia.

i suppose you a partially right takahashi is the name of the shool where it is set at and it is quite likely the vn itself wil be called love despite. But does that really matter?

Takamine Yuuto from eien no aselia, I want to strangle him and punch his lights out. Why because he is a selfish bastard that makes everyone who cares about him forget him. Especially his sister who no matter which route you choose always ends up with the short end of the stick. Even in the one where you visit her again she has forgotten he is her brother. And that just pissed me off really bad. Now the game is great but it really needs a remake with a harem route in which you reunite with your sister.

probably thief and sword, I quit it before the halfway point. Another good contender is eien no aselia. the reason for that is that yuuto makes the extremely selfish decision to become a ethernal and make everyone who cares about him forget about him. Other than that no matter which route you choose you never get a good ending with your sister. Dont get me wrong i dont need a sister route in the game just that nomatter wich route you choose she always end's up with the short end of the stick. Takahashi Recovery Academy is a English visual novel in development with a setting similar to Katawa Shoujo. The reason i decided to post this is because it seems to have gone under the radar just about everywhere. So i decided to give it some advertisment. I personally also stumbeld across this by accident. And i have not been able to find anything on it in the forums here or anywhere else They are currently looking for artists and could use some advertisment. And I think it would be sad to see it fail as I personally think it looks very promising. hello there. Been lurking around the site for a while and finally decided to make a account. Altough i still can't find everyting on the site. I am a dutch chemistry student. And have been reading vn for a while now, the first vn i read was koihime musou, the second and third where fate/stay night and tsukihime. other than that i have alse read grisaia and katawa no shoujo and about a dozen others. while still having a few unread novels on my pc. I personally have a preference for story and charater driven vn's but wenether i like a vn or anystory for that matter depens lagerly on the pacing of the story. On a different note. I recently decided it was a good idea to cleanout my pc and do some restructering of the folders. (still have nightmares ........shudder) And i accidently misplaced my save for eien no aselia and katawa no shoujo. And i cant seem to find a save for eien no aselia anywhere. So i would like to ask if somebody has a complete save for on or both of these games and if it is possible to send them to me or upload them somewhere. Other than that while i was cleaning out my pc i ended up with a couple questions......typical. I hope people dont mind me asking them in my introduction post. Anyway here goes. Does anyone know what happend to the translation of fortune arterial, is it dead is it alive? I reallize they do this so they can translate thier favorite route last and so they do not lose interest halfway. But it sometimes still leads to half translated vn's who now have only the side routes translated instead of the main routes. Examples are fortune Arterial and more recent Dracu Riot. And wich vn do you think i should play through first, Sakura spirit Yumina the eternal Shinigami no Kiss KiraKira curtaincall Cross channel or Cho dengeki stryker well this turned out to be a lengty introduction. Hope i have not been boring you all to bad. And that i have not broken any forum rules. Maybe it was better to post the questions in the general discussion threat? I hop to be around for a while
