Aah I prepared my secret ritual before looking at loli by Tay, I ordered expensive food and drink, opened a bottle of 11 years old Whiskey (i.e. the best age for a loli ) even though I don't drink alcohol, dressed in tuxedo, sang one of the national anthems of Loli Republic (in that exact voice - I might record that one day~ ) and only then I clicked the spoiler button... AND THEN THIS

    Here's a few for the anime/manga section
Replace Summer 2013 anime preview with Winter 2014 anime preview Move International Saimoe Leauge from GD to anime/manga Light Novels I'll go digging into the other forums later.

Update - I've got quite a few that would be good for the Visual Novel section
Fav food and drink during VN Why do you use the term VN H-scenes. Really necessary? Differences between visual novel, eroge, gal game, and a dating sim? What is your favorite type of VN heroine, and why? I'll quit for now. May come back to it later.

Forgot to say this in the post regarding how delivery of the prizes will work. I am but a humble blue collar worker with many expenses. So the First Place winner will get priority. S;G will be purchased right after I get the shipping info from them.

Second and Third Place winners should get their prizes shortly after (no more than two weeks later). Those are digital prizes and will be delivered via PM or email,

I must apologize for this one not being anywhere near as good as the first (to me).

Had less time and spent less time working on it. :x

Slightly different approach (also more simple lol)

Scenario: Inevitably deemed a pervert by Hachikuji- Batman, unable to just leave her alone, proceeds to be her protector in a less detectable but far creepier fashion.

solidbatman got a reaction from MottainaiVN in What I Think of Fuwanovel
I joined Fuwanovel on November 20th, 2012. It was a long time ago. The Bruce Wayne dating sim that I suggested in my intro topic never came to fruition (a fact I'm mildly depressed about). When I first joined, this place was very very different. I really did not post much at first, and was blissfully unaware of how evil the VN community was overall. I did not know that I had to patch VNs myself in many instances and thanks to this place, I was able to play VNs without having to worry about that sort of thing. The forums looked quite different as well, with each hosted VN having it's own sub board if I recall (it was a mess). The forums were quickly re-organized into something close to what we have now. There was no walkthrough section, no FAQ section, no games and chatter section. Just a few forum boards. Slowly the forums grew, and I began posting more.

For what ever reason, that in all honesty still baffles me, I was eventually promoted to a moderator position. I became fast friends with Steve as we frolicked through fields with our mutual agreements on everything. I love, and miss you Steve (just please, no naked Hachikuji pictures). I really enjoyed helping out around the forums. Everyone was friendly and we rarely had any issues with behavior. Fuwanovel was a tight knit group that just loved VNs. Ryoji and Eldin would have epic battles over old, obscure anime that the original production studios probably forgot they even produced, Steve was having a field day posting loli pictures and trying to convert me to the lolicon side, Skeith was regularly posting walkthroughs, Harry Kinomoto was being amazing as usual. It was an awesome place to be a part of and I loved every second of it outside of the staff forums. It was a place where everyone respected one another, and everyone respected what Fuwanovel was (save a few people). A place to make VNs accessible to the west.

Fast forward to today. Fuwanovel has grown immensely. We have a ton of active members on the forums, and out library of VNs continues to grow, as does the scope of operations. Nayleen has done wonderful work, and Tay did a great job of holding things together during the hosting outage. But despite that, I've felt a growing disconnect between myself, and a lot of the newer members. None of this is meant in a negative way. The newer guys have changed the forums a lot. We have so many random topics now, that have found a good home. The forums have been re-shaped to your guys liking. I said Fuwanovel was a family, and you guys sure have banded together. Sadly, I feel like part of the old guard, and find myself irritated with the place. Some of the things I used to love about Fuwanovel, the things that separated us from the rest of the VN community have begun to slowly crumble away. There is more mean spirit here, more rudeness, and just more of a 4chan-esque environment. The group of people I used to talk to all the time is mostly gone now. I still enjoy talking to you guys, but I find myself feeling less enthusiastic about the place than before. Perhaps what Fuwanovel is has become diluted with more members. Perhaps its just growing pains. Maybe we've grown big enough to drag some of you guys out from the dark places of the internet. (As yusa used to say, "I'll reform you").

I still enjoy this place. And I don't hate anyone here. I just wanted to put out there what I couldn't really put out there when I was staff. I want this place to remain friendly, towards everyone, and I want everyone to be treated with respect, like we had just 4 or 5 months ago. My year here has been enjoyable, and I'll continue hanging around because visual novels. So this is a request from me to everyone here: Lets make this place more of a friendly place and respect everyone. Staff respect the members, members respect the staff, staff respect staff, members respect members. I've made my share of mistakes on this, and I want to correct them. I want Fuwanovel to be the place it was a year ago. I want it to be the friendliest place on the internet again.

solidbatman got a reaction from Nayleen in Steins;Gate Limited Edition Giveaway
So, JastUSA announced some VN called Steins;Gate recently. You may have heard of it. A few weeks back, pre-orders opened up for it. And being the kind, benevolent super-hero I am, I decided to give away a Limited Edition of the VN for one lucky member.

All Limited Editions will come with a download code as well.

So, how will this work? It shall be a competition, with points! A battle to the death if you will. Maybe not that far. Now then, the rules.

This contest will last 7 weeks. Each Wednesday, I will have a new goal for you to aim for. For example, I may ask you to post pictures of Hachikuji, or Natsume Asako. Or, I may ask you to write about the glory of console gaming. You won't know until you check every Wednesday for the prompt. Responding correctly to the prompt within 48 hours will net you 5 points. Within 96 hours will net you 3 points, and anything within the 7 day limit, 1 point. The person with the most points at the end of the 7 weeks, will win.

Due to the high popularity of this contest, I have decided to add prizes for second and third place. For coming in second place, you will win a copy of World End Economica! For third place, you will win a copy of Dysfunctional Systems Episode 1!

Make sure to read the prompt weekly. 2 of the 7 weeks will involve daily challenges that will increase points totals very quickly.

For the sake of my sanity, please, if you are not responding to the prompt and just engaging in some conversation, place the off topic talk in spoiler tags please! This will make points adding so much easier.

Alright then. Are you ready for the Week 1 Prompt? No? Well put on your tights and leotards, it's time.

    Week One
For week one, all you need to do is respond to this post. If you have any questions at all, ask. Simple as that.

    Week Two
    Now the fun begins..

Two of my favorite characters in fiction are Batman, and Hachikuji Mayoi. Sometimes, I wonder what would happen if the two were to ever meet. I bet you feel the same way. No, I know you feel the same way. Do you see where this is going?

You task for this week, is to draw a picture with Batman and Hachikuji Mayoi interacting. Maybe they are crime fighting. Maybe Hachikuji has forced Batman to play her little mind games. I don't know. It's up to you. The picture doesn't have to be good. Just participating will net you the points. At the end of the week, the person who posts the image I like the most will get an extra 3 points added to their total. You can upload images to any service that works for you. Please be sure to post all non-submissions in spoiler tags. I only want to see submissions for points purposes now.

To sum up the week two challenge: Draw a picture with Batman and Hachikuji Mayoi interacting in some way. New entrants into the competition are more than welcome. And all non-submissions must now be placed in spoiler tags. If you have a question, PM me please.

    Week Three

It was more difficult than I imagined to pick out my favorite image. In the end, Bizkitdoh got the 3 point bonus, and because I loved it so much, Ragnar received a 2 point bonus. But a new week brings new opportunities for all. And this week is kind of a treat.

Week Three shall be a Daily Challenge Week! 7 challenges, 7 days. Every day this week, a new challenge will appear. Completing a challenge within 24 hours will net you 5 points. Missing the 24 hour deadline will net you 0. You cannot complete a challenge if it is older than 24 hours this week. No exceptions. Now then, lets get to it.

    Day One
Congratulations! Your life has proven interesting enough to warrant an anime adaption! Perhaps it was your strange fascination with your cute imotou that seriously can't be that cute. That seems to be popular for some reason (I really do hate that show with a burning passion). In fact, your life is so popular, every anime studio that has ever existed wants to adapt your life!

So then, who do you pick? What anime studio (past or present) do you want to see adapt your life into an anime and why? Be sure to name the studio please! This prompt has no word limit or sentence limit, but obviously, the more thought out, the better. Questions via PM please. Discussion in spoilers.

    Day Two
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm the Batman, I just punched you. Poetry is an art form invented back when we were still cave men drawing stick figures (judging by the week one challenge, we have't evolved much have we?). From the greats, like that really famous guy that writes poems for a living, to the not so great, everyone else, poetry has been a medium for conveying emotion and/or drug induced dreams. Now, why am I rambling on like this? Because today is a day of poetry.

Today's challenge is as follows. Write a poem (any kind except irregular format) about the crime fighting adventures of Batman and Hachikuji Mayoi.

    Day Three
Crime is something I hate. I am Batman after all. Sadly, you all have turned to a life of crime. And as we all know, crime never pays. Unless you are Thomas Edison ripping intellectual property from other people and claiming it as your own. Then it pays, and pays quite well. Anyway, your days of crime are over as you've been caught by the authorities and thrown into jail. Luckily for you, a certain someone bails you out! It's your favorite fictional character! How nice of them! What does all of this mean for the challenge today? Well...

You have been thrown in jail for committing a crime! What crime did you commit and which fictional character bails you out? What do they say to you?

Write as much or as little as you like. Just make sure all 3 questions in the prompt are answered. My favorite 3 responses will each earn 3 extra points!

    Day Four
I'm really sleepy so this will be an easy one. Or not. Depends how much practice you've done on your pick up lines. A tired mind doth create crazy prompts. This will separate the pretenders from the contenders and is a crucial challenge heading into Day Five. Thus, today's challenge must be as stupid as possible. Let's get to it shall we?

You walk into a bar to order some chocolate milk when out of the corner of your eye, you see the fictional character of your dreams. They are just perfect. Unfortunately, they are getting up to leave! You have one chance to say something to get them to fall in love with you! What do you say!?

To summarize, name the fictional character of your dreams, and the one thing you would say to them to try and get them to fall in love with you. Top answer will receive 3 bonus points.

    Day Five
These have been easy haven't they? I agree. Double points time! All entries will earn double points today. Though, today, you can lose points. Don't ask questions. Because it's double points, you will lose double points too. Points will be decreased in increments of 10. Don't ask questions. No question marks. And no using letters B, H, P, L, or S. I will be watching in the spoiler tags too. Why do I do this? Minus 10 points. Now, on to today's challenge. Cleverness will earn bonus points.

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?

    Day Six
A respite of sorts. Post "anything". Not posting anything will disqualify you from points on the day. Literally post anything to get points.

    Post "anything"

    Day Seven
Insert Batman into your favorite story. What changes? How much does he affect the ending? Are you the worst fanfic writer ever? Can you tell I'm running out of ideas?

    Week Four
Thank goodness that week is over. Might have been harder on me than you guys. So because of that, I realize I must reverse the roles. Not gender roles. solidbatmaid is not going to happen, no matter how hard you try. What was I saying? Oh yeah, something something Week Four Challenge. So what is it?

For Week Four, you must create an album of songs! I want the album name, at least ten song titles, and a short description of each song! 3 bonus points if you draw the CD cover! An unspecified amount of bonus points if you actually write a song and record you singing it (The amount of points for this bonus drops for each person that does it). We are back to weekly rules. Within 48 hours is 5 points, 96 hours is 3 points, and after 96 hours, 1 point.

Songs with no effort will not grab the bonus points. I am the ultimate judge of this and will decide on my own discretion. Should I find that you used a pre-existing song, you will be disqualified.

    Week Five
We are getting ever closer to the end. Congrats to all who sang. You each received 10 bonus points. For those worried that the contest is out of reach, fear not. The contest is no out of reach yet. I assure you. That being said, I am rewarding effort. So give it your all. That said, I might slightly pull a Mario Kart and rubber band some of you that are falling behind. Now then, on to Week Five.

This week, we have a spooktacular challenge. (We like to have fun here, embrace the puns). Your ghostly challenge of the week is as follows:

Write a Halloween fanfiction involving at least 5 characters from any medium, going trick-or-treating. My top 3 fanfictions will each be awarded 10 bonus points. If a member of the top 3 ends up being a favorite, they will only earn 5 points. Yeah, totally Mario Karting this for you guys sitting a few points back.

    Week Six
Apologies for being late on this week. I was way too tired to bother doing a challenge last night. To make up for it, everyone who posts within 6 hours gets 10 bonus points (in addition to the regular 5 points). Within 48 is still 5, and anything after will be 3 points. Points from last week will be added before I sleep tonight. Or after I wake up. I dunno, I'm really tired still. Anyway, this weeks challenge!

You have just become the marketing manager for your a video game company! Apparently, your resume qualifications of "Can eat 3 bags of Cheesy Nacho Doritos and drink 64 Code Red Mountain Dews in one sitting" impressed the board enough to hire you. Make your best sales pitch for the worst possible game you can think of! Mislead me, lie to me, betray me (just like my ex. I will never forget, nor forgive). Use whatever means necessary because the best sales pitch receives another 10 bonus points! Remember to pick the worst possible game, and make the best, most misleading sales pitch you can think of using any and all means necessary.

    WEEK 7
Rejoice children. Thou hath arrived at the final week of this contest. Pat yourself on the back. I'm proud of you. Your parents are proud of you. Your dog is proud of you. Your cat isn't though. Cats are like that. Sorry.
Well, I could write something really sappy about how much this contest has meant to me, and how you all are very special and dear to me, my loyal test subjects. But, I have to compensate you people to participate in my silly games. Greedy greedy greedy contestants. Thus, I shall make you suffer for the final week. There will be so much stress, and invisible point values should ensure you fine folks give it your all every day this week. Bring forth the stress balls! To summarize: Week 7 is a daily challenge week. Point values will be invisible all week and points will not update until the final day. All point values will be sent to an unnamed, un-involved 3rd party before each challenge goes up. Thus, do not ask about point values. Point deduction days will be labeled, but the rules for deductions not named. I am a cruel host.
    Day One

Starting off simple today. Which challenge over the past 6 weeks has been your favorite and why?

    Day Two

Hi there. Dr. Pepper will see you shortly. For now, entertain me by completing this easy, simple challenge. Write a 26 sentence story! Each sentence must start with a different letter of the alphabet. There will be deductions on this challenge.

    Day Three
You think I'd do the same thing twice?
Better late than never eh? Todays challenge is a doozy. And I mean it. So what do you have to do? Good question. Maybe you can figure it out on your own? I really doubt it. Nice try
Not here either. Though, it is somewhere in this post. Maybe not where you'd think. Rorona might know

    Day Four
Hi there. Over half way done. Good stuff. Anyway, easy challenge today. Just need a few questions answered.

    1) Why did you enter this contest
    2) Would you have put in as much effort if it was only a digital prize

    3) In the future, would you want to see more long term contests, or short term? Digital prizes, or physical?

    Day Five
Hey! Remember Day One? Remember how I asked you what was your favorite challenge? Guess what! You get to do that challenge again! Oh wonderful times!
The challenge that you selected on Day One of this week is your challenge for today. For some of you, you are screwed, for others, you are saved. No bonuses or penalties for this one. Complete the challenge you said was your favorite on Day One of this week. I have screenshots of each selection so no trying to edit on me.

    Day Six
Home stretch. You all have done well, except for... well all of you. I wanted everyone to drop out of the contest so that I wouldn't have to spend money. Today's challenge is:

Write a story based off this entire 7 week contest. Bonus points up for grabs.

    Final Points Tally

You have done it. You few whom have braved so much to get here, I congratulate you. I had hoped for more, but you shall have to do for now.

Formalities aside, I hope everyone has had fun/stress attacks doing this. I had fun thinking of challenges while miserable at work (so now you know where the really mean ones come from). Personally, my favorite challenge was the Week 2 Drawing challenge. We should do it again sometime. Bizkitdoh would disagree I'm sure. The singing one was really mean, but oh so good in hindsight. Proud of you Damonkala.

Sure I may have forgotten to post up the challenge a couple of times, or set insane challenges with odd time limits, and some random bonuses. You don't realize my temptation to add some random Mario Party point bonuses right now. This entire contest has been an exercise in temptation for me. Like, I wanted to pull all of you through hell for this, but not too badly that you'd give up. So in the end, this test was a success.

Some final words before I unveil the winner. In all seriousness, great job you guys. Seeing your enthusiasm and dedication to this has guaranteed a second large scale giveaway in a couple weeks (first two challenges are already set to go actually). It really does make me happy to do things like this and see others having fun, so thank you all for taking part in this. And finally, I have to say, Hachikuji Mayoi 4 Lyf. Now, then, ON TO THE POINTS!

For full disclosure, in this spoiler is the point values for week 7. I do not have a tally sheet, just the final scores, but if you feel there is a scoring error, by all means let me know.

    Spoiler

    Now to unveil the winners!

In third place, with 119 points, we have shcboomer!

In second place, with 124 points, we have... oh my.... what is this? What in the world is this? A tie? Yes ladies and gentlemen, we have a two way tie for second place. Our second place complication winners areSilvachief and Damonkala! Because of this tie, you both will receive the second place prize. Consider yourself lucky I don't make you battle to the death for it.

And we have reached that moment. This is what you all came here for originally. A Limited Edition of the first run printing of Steins;Gate localized by Jast USA. You have all fought hard, and proudly, yet only one could win it in the end. Winning with 125 points, please join me in congratulating our Grand Prize Winner, Bizkitdoh!

Congratulations to you 4, and again, a huge thank you to all of you who participated. I know how close this contest was, and how hard some of you worked for it. I hope you all will join me again in two weeks as we begin anew with a contest. I will take what I learned from here, and use the responses you gave me to set up an even better, more accessible contest!

USA enacts a law stating that loli pics are illegal and considered child pornography. My computer gets seized and I get sent to jail. It has been five days since I have been in this cell. This cell block is solely for people who has had loli pics in their possessions. I am malnourished, been eating less and less daily, I usually pass out every now and again, but I don't care. My life is ruined.

The guards do their usual routine around the cell block while the inmates talk about the various anime they have seen. But this day, something is different, I can hear two sets of footsteps coming towards me, chains can be faintly heard. Two guards open my cell door and cuff me, saying I need to come with them. They take me out of the cell block and into the administration section of the jail.

Guard:"Alright, you are free to go"
    Me: "What do you mean?"
Guard: "Someone bailed you out...now get going"

They uncuff me and lead me to the side entrance, opening the door. The sun shines brightly over my eyes, I shield my eyes as I see the figure of a girl. I stumble towards her...

    Girl: "How disgusting"

She turns away as she says it, and walks away. I try to follow her, but i stumble and fall face down on the sidewalk. The guards snicker. I feel someone trying to push me up, it was the girl. She sighs...

There was silence. Unnatural, dangerous silence.
On this faraway, forgotten country, screams of agony always filled the long, long halls.
The cells are usually completely filled. There is no way you can sleep without touching your neighbor, obviously because of the conditions within the tiny 3-metre by 10-metre cell.

As the silence fills the halls, I let my mind drift away. Today, this young guy with a 100% preventable problem ended up having to have his foot amputated. Naturally, people are not treated. That is not a surprise nor a problem. We here are the "trash" of humankind. The outlet of the frustrations that our kind has.

That said, life at this place is not so bad for most people. They weren't swallowed by despair. They had companions. There's a shared trauma that comes with being arrested, being hotboxed together, beaten together and being treated like trash together. I got a lot of companions here, actually.

And so, I realized again that I wasn't all alone. I realized the power of the bonds that I always held so dear to myself. No matter how much we fought with each other, the memories of those peaceful times serve as strength to me even now. They are the only thing I had at the 25th hour, and a world filled with coffins. A world filled with shadows, created from the negative feelings of all mankind.

I was used to the silence. A few weeks ago, this place filled with coffins was were me and my companions fought together, laughed together and formed precious bonds that fill my heart with warmth even now. By summoning the strength of our inner hearts, we could face and defeat a God.

My mind goes to when I was arrested. I remember it with a bitter smile. I knew I could count on my companions, and I knew they would definitely have helped me if I asked, but in the end, my pride led me to shoulder all of the responsibility for myself. I set my foots on the Kirijo group and stole precious data on the shadows, which led me to be arrested on this god forsaken place.

...And there are footsteps. Footsteps of a woman that I know very well.
A woman who has short white hair and yellow eyes. A woman that always wears a blue dress that resembles a stewardess's outfit with five black-lined circles outside small yellow circles, blue gloves, a blue attendant-like hat, black leggings and blue, knee-length boots.

A woman incredibly beautiful, always carrying a book known as the Persona Compendium with her. A woman with a ridiculous amount of power, able to crush most with little to no effort. A woman that helped me in my journey with hints, always trying to lead me to the best possible ending.

"Elizabeth? What are you doing here?" I said, completely stunned.

"I came with a piece of advice for you" she said with a humorous face.

"What do you have to tell me?" I asked bluntly. Truthfully, I was expectant. She never failed me, not even once.

"I have gained much from our previous encounters. I'm glad I crossed paths with you on this journey. In the end, I could not feel that same frisson as when I faced him... But still, you've proved yourself to be quite an interesting one. Surely, you won't stop your journey here, yes?"

her tone was the same as when we met on that room.

"Yes. I think it's about time I get out of here. There's still much left unsolved, after all." After remembering my bonds, I can't possibly leave things like this.

She had a smile on her face. A blue light shone upon us, and we were outside of the prison, viewing the sun rising from the desert outside.

"He taught me... Making mistakes is part of being human. However, you also have the strength needed to stand up and never give up. Do not forget that strength"

A smile raises to my face. "Yeah. You're absolutely right."

"Then, it's about time we part ways. It is regrettable, but I'll take my leave now.

"Take care." I said to her as she opened the compendium

"Velvet, oh velvet... My master has a large nose~" She sang as she disappeared.

I slap my face and begin walking. It'll be a long, long road from here on... But, I won't give up. Isn't that right, Elizabeth? I'm sure that it's the same for both of us, after all.

That's so epic, dropping a series at the second last episode just to say how much you didn't enjoy it.
"i enjoy this so little i have to watch almost every episode just so i can explain why i don't enjoy it"

Personally i think that series didn't have any value as far as content or in depth story, i think it was just entertaining and had cute characters, nothing less and nothing more.

In a couple hours, Groupees will start another build-your-own Doujin game bundle. There seemed to be some interest last time, so I thought I'd post again.

This time around it will contain:
eXceed 2nd - Vampire REX eXceed 3rd - Jade Penetrate Black Package HellSinker Higurashi When They Cry (VN) KAMUI ARMED SEVEN Hatoful Boyfriend (otome VN) Plus unlockable bonus material. Mostly shmups but two visual novels are nested in there. Anyway, it's a way to get them on the cheap. If it follows the last bundle's pricing, you could get the two VNs for $1.50 USD total, on top of whatever bonus gubbins they add.

Here we see a hero who pulled no punches against a grade school girl.
A hero who scored a no-holds-barred shoulder throw and is gloating in his victory.
    Actually it was Batman.

Alright. So I worked on this pretty much all day. Lol.
I've never tried to draw. Only doodled. So, I'm pretty happy with this.

    Uh, story. I guess...?
Our dear friend Hachikuji went and got herself lost, straying a bit too far from safety. Thankfully, Mr. Batman helped point her in the right direction.

Well, for the guide, I suppose we could break it into sections. Try to have it as categorized as possible, somewhat like VNDB. Have catagories for length, routes, genre, etc. There would be over lap with novels being listed multiple times, but hopefully, by doing it that way, people can find exactly what they are looking for to begin with VNs.

    Week Two
    Now the fun begins..
