Emi reacted to Tenshi in [FOR HIRE] Sprite artist and character/UI designer
Hello!
I'm Chiara, a digital artist from Italy who specializes in drawing human figures using a style that goes from anime to semi-realistic. I particularly love drawing female characters!
I've done commissions for a few years but I'd also love to work on a video game, possibly a visual novel since that's what better fits my style. I can create character designs, portraits, UI designs or visual novel sprites. I'm open to game logo requests too, although it needs to be discussed; same goes for NSFW content.
I'm currently practicing drawing backgrounds so, although I may be able to do something simple, that's not really my strong suit and I won't be able to help as a background artist.
Here are my prices with some examples:
If you want to see more of my work, feel free to visit my portfolio: UI portoflio | Sprites/CGs portfolio
But if aren't interested in a commission at the moment, I also have some game assets ready to use:
Female character sprites [free]
Cute! UI asset pack [$5]
In any case, you can contact me at:
e-mail: [email protected] discord: tenshiyoru Or send me a commission request by filling out this form: https://forms.gle/jpW7fM2XkW5VpE348
Thanks for your time!

Emi reacted to Tenshi in Hello everyone!
Hi! I am a 2D artist hoping to work on some cool projects, but overall I'm just a visual novel fan wanting to meet like-minded people.
Admittedly, I haven't played a VN in a while, but some of my favorites are, in no particular order, Ace Attorney, Dangonronpa, Zero Escape and Amnesia: Memories. Wikipedia even considers Professor Layton a visual novel but I don't know, I'll still mention it just in case. I'm probably forgetting something but I'm sure these already work as good examples.
If anyone wants to suggest some good VN I'd appreciate it, I love romance (particularly otome games), suspense, mystery and a good art style (which can be subjective, so don't think too much about it).
Nice to meet you all 😄

Emi reacted to GCNess in Spiral Dystopia/Rasen Sokou no Dystopia Walkthrough
Spiral Dystopia/Rasen Sokou no Dystopia
Developed by LiLiM and Dennou Club, published by Kagura Games
Steam, GOG, Kagura Games
18+ Patch: GOG, Kagura Games
Summary
Kou is the descendant of a family that manages a deserted shrine. He, his childhood friends Azusa and Yurina, and his best friend Souma are constantly worried about their future. One day, as summer approaches, Kou meets Miyu, a mysterious woman who wanders the night with a bamboo sword wrapped in her bag. When Kou approaches her, Miyu tells him she’s looking for a very old book that might be hidden somewhere in the city. Turns out the book Miyu is looking for is being kept in the shrine that Kou’s family manages. When the two of them reach out to pick up the book, lightning strikes, and the world begins to spiral.
[From Kagura Games]
Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order
There is no required route order within Spiral Dystopia, so you can play in whatever order you'd like. However, your second run of Miyu's route is the true route, so I would save itfor last.
I would recommend playing Miyu 1st Lap ->Azusa -> Yurina -> Miyu 2nd Lap
Miyu Lap 1
Azusa
Yurina
Miyu Lap 2 Route (True End)

Emi reacted to GhostClown in Boo!
Hey, I'm Ghost Clown and I'm a VN developer.
I'm particularly inspired by games like Ace Attorney, AI Somnium, and Danganronpa, but I also enjoy dating games and raising sims.
I'm currently working on a commercial mystery/dating game and a small, free, light horror game. I'm hoping to connect with other fans and share my work.

Emi reacted to Spire in SYNESTHESIA Walkthrough
Synesthesia can be navigated quite easily using the flowchart without the need for a guide.
Having said that, this guide will ensure you take the quickest route to the True End. This will also unlock all endings, achievements and tips for 100% completion. There will be a few minor scenes you may miss between the characters, but nothing of consequence.
Any route order is fine, and in some cases is enforced. This guide will take the order of Common Route, Keller Route, Isla Route, Eris Route -> True route.
COMMON ROUTE:
KELLER MINI-ROUTE:
ISLA ROUTE:
ERIS ROUTE:
TRUE ROUTE:
EPILOGUES:
Hope that's helpful!

Emi reacted to littleshogun in Anime Central 2023 Announcements
Unlike last year when Nekonyan also participate, this time we have Mangagamer and Sekai Project announced some title, although those title are not a big one.
Mangagamer
Announcement 1 - Uchi no Koibito
Announcement 2 - Nightmare x Vampire
Sekai Project
Announcement 1 - Kemonomichi Girlish Square Love + Plus
Contains fluffy & ecchi afterstories for the heroines of the main game.
Announcement 2 - Kemonomichi Girlish Square
-
By the way, Mangagamer actually also released Uchi no Koibito in which it made all three parts of Uchi trilogy available in English. With Shiravune take over the first part of Succubus Session trilogy, I wonder if Mangagamer will license Bishoujo Gakuen trilogy later. Sekai, well they did a good job for being predictable with Kemonomichi aka Animal Trail license instead of trying to pick up some bigger title from the same company such as Unless Terminalia.
That's all for Anime Central 2023 announcements here.

Emi reacted to mr.tropical in Hello! I, too like the imagetexts. ;)
Thank you for the warm welcome! I'll be sure to share my comics (they usually are preambles for the larger projects; the intent is to turn at least one of them into a visual novel). lol

Emi reacted to Plk_Lesiak in Spring 2023 Anime Discussion
Mashle is fun, the Harry Potter parody is a really good concept for this kind of anime. ^^
Generally, I mostly watch utter trash and sequels this season. Ancient Magus' Bride and Gundam: The Witch from Mercury are both still very solid in their own, melodramatic way.
Smartphone isekai I think evolved from something mostly vapid to this still shallow, but genuinely cute parody of harem fiction... The spoof was obviously always in there, but it feels more self-aware and funny at this point. I don't even feel gross about watching it any more.
Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is still a lot of enjoyable fluff and while some people complain about the pacing, I have a completely opposite impression – as the show got over all the setup and basic worldbuilding in the first season, this one feels a lot more like a personal journey of growth for Yuna. Not that much is happening overall, but I feel there's a lot more weight in the small decisions and challenges she faces, having to spet out of her comfort zone in new ways and establishing a more sustainable place for herself in the new world.
I'm also, with no shame whatsoever, enjoying The Legendary Hero is Dead, probably the most hated show of the season? It's another one of those relentlessly weird and stupid genre parodies, but damn if it's not consistent. Sure, not all of the jokes land, maybe not even most of them, but with shows like this (I'd include Don't Hurt Me, My Healer and Conception in this exact same category) it's not the specific gags that I enjoy but the overall vibe of absurdity and inappropriate humour. And this show goes HARD, although with enough self-awarness to never become too vulgar or fanservice'y (it's this level of parody when ecchi is so stupid and warped it stops functioning as such). Even my GF liked the first two episodes, I think we'll catch up to the current episode this evening. xD

Emi reacted to Plk_Lesiak in Eurovision 2023 shipost thread
I'm pretty sure there's a free livestream on the Eurovision website every year, I watched it that way a few years back when I was abroad for the contest.
And yeah, Sweden is 100% winning this year, nothing comes even close. Not that I'm such a huge fan of the song or Loreen, but simply the competition is a few levels behind her in most aspects, and her live performance skills are impeccable.

Emi reacted to betetiro in Hi! I'm the creator of the visual novel Hazy Mind, and I'd like to ask for your feedback on my main character and the overall art style.
Hi there! I'd like to share my art with you and ask for your feedback on the style. I've combined pixel text, manga brush, and a simple brush in a single image. I hope it works well, but I need your feedback.
Additionally, I'd like to know how many scene artworks my game should have. I'm concerned about creating fewer than what my fans expect, so I would really appreciate your suggestions. Thank you for your attention! 🙂

Emi got a reaction from STARKUS in Can I export my vn project from tyranobuilder to renpy? And use both?
Just extract and import to renpy, no unlikely. Tyranobuilder as far as i know is built on javascript and html5. while renpy is made with Python.
so what i know it would have to be recoded from start.

A Story of Mystery, Romance, and Adventure
Three years after the events of Detective Butler: Maiden Voyage Murder, Gilligan Golder is now CEO of his late father's life insurance company, where Butler also now works as a fraud investigator. At the same time, Gilligan has been attending classes at the prestigious Diamond University. The company's investors have great expectations for Gilligan upon his graduation.
One day, Gilligan and Butler learn about a Detection Club at the university. At the same time, a serial killer has been targeting the female students, each victim's heart ripped out from a gaping wound. As none of the hearts have been found -- apparently stolen -- the killer has been nicknamed "The King of Hearts."
Tensions have grown on campus as the female students fear becoming the next victim, and the male students fear being falsely accused as the killer. In the midst of all this, Gilligan falls in love with one of the girls, but lacks the confidence to pursue her.
Eventually, a new victim is discovered: one of the members of the Detection Club.
And the prime suspect?
Detective Butler.
Gilligan refuses to believe it. With Butler as the brains and Gilligan doing the legwork, they work together to pursue the truth and catch the true killer.
The other members of the Detection Club all have secrets they want to remain hidden. Will Gilligan come to regret the truth he ends up discovering?
What are the consequences of telling comforting lies over the harsh truth?
And what are the consequences of believing them?
Think Like A Detective
The primary gameplay is within your own mind as you try and solve the mysteries yourself. The game will provide you with Case Notes and Lecture Notes to help you keep track of the characters, clues, and other important information.
You will encounter choices to personalize your experience and test your skills of deduction, but they won't influence the outcome of the story. Instead, you'll be taken on an emotional rollercoaster, with many exciting twists and turns as the mysteries slowly unravel themselves.
In addition to the overarching mystery of the King of Hearts Serial Murders, each chapter has at least one dedicated mystery for you to solve. Please enjoy solving all of them!
