I've been learning some HTML/CSS, and to no cause could my knowledge be better applied than a dedication to my good friend OriginalRun. As such, I've decided to craft a website that makes liberal use of CSS's styling capabilities so as to yield maximum Renness. Enjoy!

Acknowledgement to my friend @Keisuke who wrote some JavaScript and identified a few missing parentheses that made the website a total mess of scattered images.

    I don't understand, weren't you friends?

I really don't think the translation was that bad (not saying it was good).

I enjoyed the game nonetheless (every route completed), but I should say, that I often read Japanese visual novels with VNR, so that might be the cause for my high tolerance.

Comparing the translation to that of Koiken Otome, then this one really isn't that bad at all =P

Koiken otome translation was good as far as I read (two routes so far) . If you come to complain about koiken's translation and say that IMHW is not bad, your japanese is (for me at least) very questionable.

I apologize for such an unclear answer. I proofread your post again and noticed you talk only about the 18+ patch. Well, it's not like we can't ask them again for better info. Communication with Hikari is on a good way and they might send us a better answer. But it strongly depends on the confidentiality considering, they might also tell us that this is something that they/we can't announce yet. We will include this question in our weekly summary for them, so we just have to wait for the answer.

I hope this answer does better, once more I apologize,

    Aki

Don't sweat it, it was just a misunderstanding.

I don't know how can you call it a "waste of time".You never got in touch with them, we are in direct contact with the head of the Tayutama project in Hikari Field. We are doing this to improve the translation as much as possible, we are doing it for the English (western) community and you really write something such demotivating like this? I hope you didn't mean it seriously. We volunteered to them and they accepted out help. We are not doing this for money. We are doing this for fun, for improving our languages skills (except Higgins, he is an American)  and also for obtaining some experience in this. And if they were really ignoring us they wouldn't update the English website which Higgins corrected for them, they would never allowed us to post in their behalf here and also they would never kept in touch with us in the 1st place. What is between Hikari and LoS DOES NOT concern us. We just care about making the translation as best as possible. Regarding the 18+ patch: It WAS NOT Hikari who released the 18+ patch in China, but a different company did (I apologize for the wrong information earlier). That might be the reason for them to tell us that it's not their concern, because it wasn't their concern even in China, 18+ patch is something different than just a translation project.

So, no... We are NOT being used and the cooperation is profitable for both sides. For them it's maybe money, but for us it's experience and possibility to became an official translation group.

If there is something else you want to know or suggest, just feel free to comment further.

    Thank you,

    Aki

You are a bit out of subjet here, I trust you when you say that you do it for the sake of improvement, for fun and everything. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, what I was calling a "waste of time" was to "bring back this topic with them". When they say that 18+ doesn't concern their work, no matter how you look at it, it seems most likely a lost cause. But if think you can change their mind go ahead.

They did for the Chinese version but as I said we don't know what are their plans, it depends on the contract between Hikari and LoS. Yes we DO cooperate with Hikari, but our job is polishing their translation, promoting the game and collect fans's feedback. We will try to open this topic again with them  but we do not guarantee any clear answer. Stay tuned, we will soon come with more info (I hope).

    Aki

I dunno if you said that seriously: I don't know what was the deal with Hikari, but it seems like they see you as nothing more than tool. Trust me, they don't care about yours or fan's feedback, you're just wasting your time if you plan to bring back this topic with them. If you really worked with them so far, it should be obvious for you.

I see, guess im fucking it up either way it goes, I was going too put  rebug cfw but that's a thing in the past I guess

i could just buy an already cfw machine then go from there

edit: I had an idea, since my PlayStation has been alive since the dawn of time, I could just go in and put the 3.55 update on it manually, I have the official software package, it's not like it's doing anything better and if I fuck it up I can just buy the cfw machine

I said a mistake, it is not the cfw rogero but the cfw cobra I was talking about.

Buying an already cfw from some random place is not a good idea:

First understand that you don't always know what you'll buy: Is it a good machine? A recent one? An old one? Slim? Fat? Did the guy put some thermal paste?

The fact that the ps3 will work one day doesn't mean it will work for long. Be sure to buy one from a place where the guys know what they are talking about, ask them a lot of question and how they flashed the ps3. I would like to explain more but I am not really confortable when it comes to explain this kind of thing in english. But I will give you 3 advices:

    1) Be sure to pick a ps3 slim, the ps3 fat has too much thermal issues

    2) Buy a ps3 cwf cobra, it is REALLY the more convenient. It is easy to check since it's the only cfw allowing you to use webman.

    3) Be careful that the ps3 you're buying has the blu ray working, because if not, you will have a cfw no BD, which means cwf no Blu Ray Disk. Undersant what I'm talking about? Some random dudes buy ps3 for cheap because the blu ray doesn't work anymore, flash them, and use this cfw no BD, meaning twice work for the motherboard. If you play game like asssassin's creed, gta, skyrim or persona, you can be sure that your ps3 will burn in a short time.

Edit: don't try to manually downgrade an ofw ps3, you will just brick it...

  7. E3 flasher is the more used flasher since it's the easier to intal and other flashers like Progskeet require to solder (like 50 times) your ps3. The purpose of the flasher is to rewrite and clean your motherboard back to 4.55 and allow you afterward to intal pkg files in your ps3 (multiman and playing all dlc for free, but the most interesting thing is that a cwf rogero will allow you to play a lot of ps1/ps2/psp game and to use ntfs external hard drive which is more convenient that fat32) . Understand that you have no other way  since ofw> 4.55  prevents you do downgrade your ps3 without flasher.

If you're not used to do something like that, don't do it. Ask someone comfortable with this or ask a professionnal.

So as the title states, this is full of SPOILERS. So if you care about that, stop now.

I posted about this in another Chrono Clock discussion thread but it's not getting any attention. A lot of people give positive feedback about Cro's route, and honestly I found her personality very heartwarming, but the ending (climax) of her route confused the sh*t out of me. Maybe I'm overanalyzing it, but the seemingly unexplained events really took away from what would have otherwise been a perfect route in the game. My questions are below, I'm hoping someone can help me out.

    1. When the train is about to crash, Cro all of a sudden "changes" back to Chronos (the actual goddess). At this point, are they 1 being are separate beings? If separate, where is Cro physically during this time? Is she frozen in time on the train?
    2. The protagonist had it in his head that he was going to save Cro by trading her for himself to Chonos (the goddess). However, while it seemed Chronos agreed to the terms, she "switched modes" and let Cro talk (I guess this is a bit like multiple personality disorder?). At this point is is revealed that instead, Cro somehow decided to die instead of letting Chronos take the protagonist with her. This is where I REALLY got confused. Why the sudden change of events? Why did the goddess pretend to accept his terms when she apparently already made an agreement with Cro to "kill" her instead? Why did Cro really disappear? Did she die? Can a goddess die? This situation completely ruined her route for me, I'm hoping someone picked up on some subtle explanations that I missed.
    3. Also once she disappears, he's still "frozen in time" on the train, about to crash. How was his life spared? They never showed what happened after that. He was supposed to die because the monorail derailed, after all.
    4. And lastly but most disappointing of all, Cro actually just randomly appears in human form again post-credits. Sure, great happy ending, but was lazily done. The protagonist even admits questions he has but glosses over them like "meh, the answers don't matter, Cro is here now". I'd ask how she came back, but I think the writers made it clear that they will not answer those questions. Also there was no sense of elapsed time between when Cro "died" and when she "reincarnated" (i.e. appeared again post-credits).

Either horrible story telling in Cro's route or I missed some fundamental information.

There is a lot of mistake in this, I guess you didn't really understand what happened, so I'll explain as best as I can

I agree that this situation confused me, I read it several time, but well...

1- Why are you saying the train is about to crash lol? Rei is in a space where time stopped and only him and chronos can move, but in this spacetime with chronos, his body was "moving" , but not the train anymore, that's why his body crashed the first time but not the second since he remembered it and prevented it. The second time, the train was even slowing since it was close to the station. Next, when you see Chronos, she "absorbed" Cro, taking "back" her body. So Cro is not pshysically in the train, but inside Chronos.

2- Again you're wrong. Understand that the difference between Chronos and Cro is that Cro lives in the real world while Chronos lives in this thing you call the "frozen time". The MC wanted to see Chronos because he wanted to get the "happy ending" with Cro, but he misunderstood something important: He thought that he was the target of Chronos, but in fact Chronos is trapped inside the month you see in the Cro route. Because each time she kills the MC, the time go back again and again, because while absorbed by Chronos, Cro still lives inside her, and use her power to turn back time, and Chronos can't do anything about that. This fact means 2 things important: First as she said, Chronos refuses to be separated from Cro no matter what, because those emotions of her are importants for Chronos, because Chronos lives alone in the "frozen time". Second, as I said, this even happened a lot of time, this is actually the trap where Chronos can't escape. Chronos is the only one remembering anything and each time Chronos absorbs Cro, part of her personality stay within her. Meaning that the personnality of Cro, her emotions, her knowledges, her love for Rei... get stronger each time this happen. The MC just undertsood all that only the second time he talked to Chronos, that's why he asked to trade himself, so that Chronos won't feel lonely, and let Cro free. After that, Chronos doesn't switch mode, she fuses with Cro, you have both personnality instead of just Chronos, because it was more convenient for her for the last part: Maybe you don't remember, but Cro talked a lot about death with Rei during their last date, like she wasn't affraid of death anymore. So Chronos and Cro chose to "die" and stop the "traptime" instead of bringing MC with her in the "frozen world", because they didn't want him to give up the real world.

    3- I answered this in 1

4- I dunno, there is a lot of things we don't know about the gods and their power in this VN, but I guess Chronos gave up on her Godess statut, and became a human living, and she probably needed time to do that.

    Did I answer your questions?

  9. Hi guys, just saw this thread so I will ask here:

There is some H animes I saw some years ago that I would like to watch again, but I just vaguely remember some characters, so I would like if possible to find a place to describe the character so that people who know a lot about anime can tell the names of the animes. Where can I find suck a place?

It's the best Tales game released in a long time. It's miles better than their recent releases (Graces, Xillia, Zestiria) possibly as good or better than Vesperia. If you like Tales style RPGs you should enjoy Berseria. My sister loves the game :3

When you say as good or better than Vesperia, do you mean the gameplay or the story of Vesperia? Because playing the badass/pure hearted MC, going out or your town and saving the widow and the orphan, coincidently encountering and saving a princess, to save the world and beat the bad guys is not that extraordinary for a jrpg
