  1. Don't worry, man. It's not me, I'm not going to reveal your dirty VN history (aaaand you won't reveal mine haha). I'm from UERJ! Structural engineering of all things!
  2. As a fellow almost-graduate (those final assignment things are surely hard), I'll try to help you. This article is an interesting read, it talks about those old adventure games that were focused on interactive elements, as sanahtlig pointed out: https://medium.com/mammon-machine-zeal/a-brief-history-of-visual-novels-641a2e6b1acb Anyway, good luck, man! If you need more help, I can get you some coffee, I'm from Rio too .
  3. Wow, you sure are passionate about this VN! Welcome to Fuwa!!!!!!
  4. Check the options "Eliminate finite repetition" and/or "Ignore cyclic repetition", that usually take care of this problem. And about the thread, you can also try using another hooking tool, like ITHVNR or Chiitrans (I never used either of them, so I'm afraid I can't help you set them up)
  5. None of these seems like the right thread. You can do one of the following: 1) Check the option "Keep all threads" and advance the text in the novel until you find something with ONLY the text. Some threads only appears with the first option checked. When you find the right one, mark it as "dialog" and save. 2) Look for a h-code since VNR alone can't find the right thread. Some games just don't work properly without one.
  6. Maybe it's not picking the right text thread. And yes, you can make it ignore garbage parts. I explained it here, number two in the list: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/17453-solving-basic-issues-of-visual-novel-reader/ But that doesn't seem to work with some RPG Maker games, if that's the case.
  7. I didn't read it, but maybe this suits your tastes? Rinkan Kurabu?
  8. More or less, originally Fate would be two separate games, one with Saber and Rin's routes and another with Sakura and Ilya's routes, but at some point in development they scraped Ilya's route bc budget and made only one game instead. But some scenes did stay in the game, but no true ending or H scene for Ilya. Hell, Ilya even have her own set of points! And if you have too few... bad ending. Such a shame, I would pick Ilya over Sakura any day. Off topic, but thanks for the info about DMMD! I'm still in the common route, but I'm enjoying it so far!
  9. HF is kinda cool, but I disliked some things in its true ending. I liked UBW way better bc Archer UBW is more epic. But hey, that's just my opinion. And UBW vs HF is an oooooooooold battle in the Fate fandom better left untouched. I remember that ending!!!! Sure, that HF ending I mentioned is that level of crazy! But just enjoy the trip and don't think too much about them XD And I just started reading DMMD normal version, so I can't really compare HF with Mizuki's route (yet). Eventually I'll answer that question for you. Yes, that's correct. I just saw it one time and the game counted that I saw all endings and unlocked the extra Tiger Dojo scene.
  10. Rin really likes Shirou, so she never kills him, even when the chance is given to her (unlike other characters, like Saber who kills him if you didn't score enough points with her, wtf Saber). But Rin seems to like Saber too, so yeah, maybe she took Saber. At least, Shirou is not with her anymore. Bad and Dead endings are there more to confuse or startle you, so not all of them are that clear. I remember one in HF that's very very weird. HF is the route where everything about this war goes wrong. Like, EVERYTHING. Shit hits the fan, so Shirou and some others have tp clean this mess instead of fight each other. A new servant appears and you'll learn more about the grail itself. But the pace of this route can be kinda slow. Like, 8 days with pretty much nothing interesting and so many things happening in the last two. Seriously, how Ufotable is going to split this route in three movies is beyond me. Also, the H scenes! Sooo hilariously bad, more than Fate or UBW! Be prepared for the beauty of quotes like "I feel like a dog!" and "educated prostitute". About the noble phantasm... I think this is about their range. Anti personnel is more focused (like Gae Bolg's heart piercing attack), anti army is an area attack (like when Lancer throws Gae Bolg), anti castle is a huge blast/ area attack (like Excalibur) and anti world... pretty much screws everything up if used in full power (EA).
  11. Mystic Messenger seems fun, but sooooo time consuming! I can totally see me addicted to it like a drug. Same thing with Fate Grand Order. But PSP, PSVita and NDS games counts? There's some games that I would love to see on Steam, like Persona 3 Portable, some Atelier games, those new FE!
  12. No bug. It's supposed to be like this. Actually, you just cleared Touko's week, congrats! Now, just pick another girl! Why you're back to this scene, you ask? Don't worry, keep playing and you'll understand!
  13. HYYYYYYYYPE!! But I'm in the same hell as akaritan, and have to finish other VNs first... But I'll be expecting to hear good things about it from you guys!!
  14. Hey, I found this opinion in other thread, by Canicheslayer! Link: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/11-what-are-you-playing/?page=537&tab=comments#comment-457490 It's not on sale in psn, so I think I wait a bit more. Hope it helps, even if only a bit!
  15. A silver lining!!! Never underestimate porn!!! jk, you're screwed man. Meus pêsames.
  16. Same. I'll follow this thread. This game seems so beautiful. But I'm short of space on my Vita... And how it compares with other Otomate stuff? (well, I loved Code Realize)
  17. You didn't specify anything, so... Visual Novels: Saya no Uta (short, horror, awesome), Sekien no Inganock (medium sized, steampunk), Fate/ Stay Night (long, lots of action, there's tons of side stories to read after) Manga: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (epic, bizarre duh, but incredibly fun), Grand Blue (slice of life about drinking diving, comedy gold), Pandora Hearts (fantasy, all seems nice and friendly until feels train hits you), Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (4koma, so it's fast to read, very funny and likeable characters) Anime: Most anime I watched are adaptations (and the manga is better) and the only original I can think is Yuri on Ice, if you want to give it a chance it's pretty cute
  18. Interesting read, Bunny! You would be surprised by the amount of fucked up stories about demons or vampires I found in Josei/Yaoi magazines... Girls must really like them (well, I'm a girl and I like).
  19. As someone who also played Sacred Stones, my first thought was "what, there's two endings??????? how I get the other??????", but then I saw the video, and this secret ending is for Binding Blade, dude.
  20. SubaHibi's english release is currently planned for August 30 on Steam. I second this
  21. Unlikely, but one can dream. I'm hoping to see Room No.9 (since it seems like one of those weird things MG likes) and some R18 otome. And that new yuri better have some plot
  22. Makes sense. I didn't really check but I assumed that way because no one would play Misato's route two times in a row so Touko's usually cleared on week two.
  23. The first week is like a prologue, but you CAN clear Misato's route in this week, not really necessary but it's faster. To clear her route, you HAVE to sleep with her, not go to the beach (I didn't sleep with her either in the first week when I played). And you must clear her route to read Miki's, otherwise Miki's choice will not appear on fourth week! But you don't need to go back! To access her route, I think you must go to the roof in any oportunity since the start of weeks two or three. You can do it after clearing Touko's or after Kiri's. But you'll have to reread like EVERYTHING from the prologue (or skip text with crtl until end of the week). Cross Channel routes work like this: Touko's unlocks Kiri's, Misato's+Touko's+Kiri's unlocks Miki's, Miki's unlocks Youko's The order I read: Touko>Kiri>Misato (bc I didn't sleep with her first time around)>Miki>Youko Hope it helps!
  24. 1-Yes, the order is enforced and no, you can't reject the heroine. If you fail to get to end of her week, you'll be forced back to monday of said week until you pass. The choices are kinda obvious, just don't ignore the girl, you can advance easily without a walkthrough. Some choices give you an instant bad ending, but they happen imediately, so even if you screw up, you can load and choose the other option. Oh, but did you slept with Misato? Her week is the only one that's possible to clear without all the good choices, but you need to sleep with her to reach Miki's week! 2- Yes, it's explained later on. Around week 5. 3- If you already read the summary, you already understand everything about what this exam is. All the game explains later on is why each character get their score.
  25. In that same window I mentioned before, check which box have "dialog" checked above it. The one that should be marked is one with exactly the same text displayed in the VN. If no one displays the right text, advance the novel a bit and keep checking that boxes.
