Ever got more hyped to play a route bc some character's voice gave you such a eargasm that you so wanted to hear more of it? Other things you could try, if what Silvz said doesn't work: - Since it's a problem with save and load, check if the folder is read only. It shouldn't be. Also, delete everything in the folder. Saves of a version without patches/updates doesn't work after you apply said patches/updates. - Make sure the game is NOT installed in a HDD or Program Files folder. - Sometimes japanese locale is not enough, so change your time region too.

Actually, the guys that made the patch that included the switch, same with Realta Nua PC patch or what mangagamer did with the english release of bocchi x musume for example. Like @Dergonu said, the way japanese people look at this matter is really different from how we westerners see it. It's a sex scene in a eroge, they don't care, so no such option exists in the original and we probably won't see it in future jp releases either. But I must agree that's an interesting middle ground worth implementing.

You're too kind saying that the english dub is only a bit poor. I couldn't handle five minutes of it. But yeah, I usually prefer subs over dub, so maybe I'm judging it a bit too harshly. The only thing that I prefer english over japanese is Persona 4, because everyone but MC and Naoto's jp voice annoys me.
