  1. They also censored the virgin blood, it's not just a trap issue.
  2. https://vndb.org/v10326 https://www.nutaku.net/games/download/girls-can-be-pervy-too/
  3. The PS3 version is the best and definitive version of Umineko, period: https://umineko-project.org/en/ Umineko Project is working on porting the PS3 version to PC with english and russian language support.
  4. Yeeeees, yeeeees, of course all for the sake of researching deeply into youkais.
  5. More difficult than japanese or chinese?
  6. Did they improve in this department for LoveKami?
  7. Could this mean that there might just be some hope for an 18+ patch?
  8. I don't like Insem translation for 3 reasons: First it was translated from CHINESE to english, meaning it was a Japanese -> Chinese -> English translation. Second Insem kicked off from the team anyone that dared to suggest that his translation was in serious need of TLC and editing because it was crap and badly written (though it probably wouldn't have fixed the inherent problems with a J->C->E translation and the fact that Insem isn't really a great writter). Third Insem is an asshole and a racist.
  9. These titles are from Ammolite and Appetite, they all have the same pattern, retained mosaic and low rating. Sweet Young Bride ~Our Married Life Begins~: https://vndb.org/v17897 Avegerage rating of 5.54 Sweet Sweat in Summer: The Naughty Girl and Her Ripe Scent: https://vndb.org/v16006 Average rating of 5.93 Marina's Cuckolding Report: https://vndb.org/v12949 Average rating of 6.96 Forbidden Love with My Wife’s Sister: https://vndb.org/v8310 Average rating of 5.54 Secret Sorrow of the Siblings: https://vndb.org/v9709 Average rating of 5.51 In the realm of the west publishing of VNs, there is a new french publisher: https://vndb.org/p7303 who also started releasing nukiges and they are also ALL from Appetite and Ammolite and just as it was with MangaGamer they are all mosaiced as well. The reason for that is most likely because Amenonuboko (the company behind Ammolite and Appetite) offers a cheap deal for western publishers and these publishers take these cheap licenses to get higher revenues, because no matter how bad, unknown or mosaiced a nukige is, it will still make enough money none-the-less because boobs. Is that why MangaGamer decided to release Bitter Exclusion: https://vndb.org/v13086, the oldest Ammolite title? And none of the titles I mentioned are any older than that, as a matter of fact two of them are pretty new.
  10. Does anyone knows which Chinami voice Sekai Project version is using? The original one or the newer one (that's in both the game and fandisc)?
  11. Pretty much bottom of the barrel nukige as usual, if MangaGamer wants to release nukiges, why are they releasing some of the worst and most unknown? There are plenty of good nukige, like these: The Kabe no Mukou no Tsuma no Koe series: https://vndb.org/v12942 https://vndb.org/v19463 Youkoso! Sukebe Elf no Mori e: https://vndb.org/v20464 Mesu Kyoushi 4 ~Kegasareta Kyoudan~: https://vndb.org/v16104
  12. Probably the female equivalent of these 12 year old boys:
  13. Yeah never really got why so many VNs deal in this same subject, most of which are only available in Japanese but the density of these is quite high and the subject isn't all that exciting.
  14. But the guy specifically asked for non-otome games but for a more "run-of-the-mill VN which happens to mainly have a female main character throughout the story to which females could relate and insert themselves.", don't these two games that I mentioned fit the bill? D3 Publisher? I thought they dropped the western market around 2011 after they released Onechanbara Bikini Samurai Squad, Onechanbara Bikini Zombie Slayers and the US version of White Knight Chronicles II, which I am guessing failed to sell well because they haven't released anything since then and their latest games were all released by 3rd Party publishers like XSEED?
  15. Sharnoth: https://vndb.org/v1027 Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning -What a Radiant Brave-: https://vndb.org/v11033
  16. Yeah they could release an 18+ patch for the Steam release like almost everybody else, but the prospects of this happening are pretty low since MoeNovel NEVER released anything 18+, LoveKami are both All-Ages in the West while they are both 18+ in Japan. https://vndb.org/v20337 https://vndb.org/v21188 And we already know what they did to Konosora. So to play A Sky Full of Stars as it was meant to be played, we might need yet another unofficial 18+ restoration patch...
  17. This game is the second highest rated Pulltop game since 2010, see: "Look up, see the star in the night sky" has an average of 80, based on 344 votes: http://erogamescape.dyndns.org/~ap2/ero/toukei_kaiseki/brand.php?brand=689 Still, you better judge the game by yourself rather than going by hearsay and that's especially true in the western side of things (the japanese side is far more reliable when it comes to this kind of thing.)
  18. Great news, that title looks great, I was hoping that this was the title they hinted about releasing a few months back. This title was only released in December 2015 in Japan, and it will release after only 2 years in english, this is pretty good and it's an actual title created for the japanese audience, unlike the LoveKami shoverlware made for the western Steam audience. The ISSUE is that this is an 18+ title trough and through, there is absolutely no All-Ages release in Japan whatsoever, so basically unless they plan on releasing an 18+ patch we are looking at yet another Konosora situation... Also, we won't be able to tell how the translation is until release, but I am guessing it won't be a problem since I haven't seen people mentioning any issues with the LoveKami translations? The Steam page is up btw: http://store.steampowered.com/app/745960/A_Sky_Full_of_Stars/
  19. Why the obssession with translators though? I pointed out issues with the script, crashes at certain point in the game that prevent you from progressing and issues with audio voice missing/not playing at certain point in the game. 1. The script issues that I provided photographic evidence for were typos, gramatical mistakes, odd sentences (among other tings), this is the job of the QCer and Editors. 2. The issue with the crashes and voices not playing is the domain of the Technical Staff who's work involve putting everything together in a working order. Pointing out glaring issues with a release is not "ranting". Did you apply the latest patch? If you played a pre-patched copy, most likely you played the original release. The latest version (the one I played) didn't have hundreds of typos, weird sentences and grammatical mistakes. And beside, are you implying that an OFFICIAL release shouldn't be held to a higher standard than a free fan-translation? The reason for that is that it was quite the downgrade compared to the original Steins;Gate 2014 release, simple as that, it might have been "fine-ish" if it was a fan-translation, it is not fine for an official release especially since it is of a lower quality than the script of the 2014 Steins;Gate. While Steins;Gate was pretty much a high quality release with an almost perfect script at launch, Steins;Gate 0 in contrast was quite rough and lacked it's refinement as it did have multiple issues with the script that were never patched, either because it was rushed or because they cheapened out on the editing/QC and post-release support (or both possibly), there were also issues with the display of accents and untranslated parts that were also never fixed either. Making an official release filled with hundreds of typos and leaving it as-is IS the exaggeration. QCer too, so the people who's job involve getting paid for ironing out the script and insuring that everything has been properly ironed aren't at fault for releasing a script filled with hundred of non-ironed issues? Right, sure... I am not the only one pointing this issues out, here is a reddit thread from 12 days ago:
  20. Never mentioned this had to do with the translators, how did you come up with this assumption? I mentioned the issues plaguing the official english release which I played, period. The issues being script errors, crashes and missing voices, as it says in the title. And anyways no matter who is at fault, the issues are there, yet no patch was released to address them and the physical copies are being manufactured for shipping in October meaning the physical copies will come bundled with all the issues presented in the OP which would indicate that they are "satisfied" with this v1.00 and don't plan to patch it.
