All art is in the eye of the beholder.  If it touches you intimately as you look at it, read it, watch it, etc. then it can, in your point of view, be considered art.  Only rich snobs, Eurotrash 'artists' and 'art critics', and cultural snobs think otherwise.

As my name may suggest im a hentai lover, it had a big impact on my life as is something that helped me through my depression, for me its the greatest work of art invented by mankind, doesn't matter wich genre it never fails to hypnotize me, but i feel like a lot of people fail to understand that and think of hentai as something disgusting that only sick people watch.
Recently i presented a work on powerpoint about art in general(theory,painters,etc..) to my whole class and one of the topics were "Are games art"? and i immediately thougth of visual novels/eroges, so i decided to make a slide about erotic art and connect it with hentai putting an image, I thougth it was an great idea but apparently I was wrong, I got rekt by my class and especially my teacher to the point where he said i needed a psychiatrist. Let me make it clear that he didnt said that because i had "sexual content" on the work but more due to the fact that he saw that as "doll porn" and despisable content. I got really pissed off but i decided to hold my nerves, I even explained why I considered it art, proved my points and analyzed the image but he ignored it anyway.
So I would like to know what do you think of hentai in general(animation,eroge,doujinshi..). Do you think its art?

Some of the main goals include an interface that's more convenient for people who are interested in playing VNs in English. It will only contain translated VNs, and will present information on how to read them in english as clearly as possible, as well as additional information like technical Q&As and walkthroughs. 
If the plans for an actual proper database system crystallizes, one of Tay's plans was to integrate translation status and tracking, similar to Tinfoil's abandoned translation tracker.

Hey everybody, hope you’re safe and doing well (and doing well in Final Exams, if that applies to you). This post is to brief you on the various initiatives I and other Fuwa team members hope to accomplish by the end of the year.
Original VN Tracker
Last month Batman announced that we were looking into tracking original visual novels (VNs) in an analogous fashion to VNTS and translated VNs. While I don’t want to spoil the specifics, I can confirm both my project prototype and database were completed and approved by the rest of the team. In essence, that means this project is about ready to roll, so please look forward to its launch later this month.
Note to VN Devs: In the coming days/weeks we will be rolling out the listing standards and directed contact information. It’s difficult for me to track all of the devs which have contacted me on this issue, so please stay tuned for more information published to this site. I will not have policy or standards ready for you before that time.
Year-End Surveys
I’ve consulted with the math geeks who help me out each December, and I’m told the statistical models are ready. All that remains is for me to finish writing the surveys and pass them by volunteer editors for comment and feedback. I can’t promise an ETA, but I do plan on running the surveys for approximately one week (as is the usual for our year-end surveys).
Games Database (Front Site)
The games database will now focus on releases (original VNs; Licensed TLs; Fan-Translated Patches). My goal is to add entries near or at the same time as sitting down to complete VNTS posts. By December’s end, my goal is to have all 2016 releases added to the site.  Lastly, while I do not have any progress to report regarding a true-database implementation, I can confirm that I am still actively working on this issue.
For your edification, here is a nearly-complete listing of VN translation projects which were released in 2016. I believe we are missing only a handful.

True Org Email with Unified Lists
Clearly the sexiest update on the post: the email system for administrators and project leaders is going to be overhauled, and certain team members will receive complete org software (limited by cost).
Year-End Public Report
Once the surveys are completed, I will be posting a year-end report of the state of the site. I plan on breaking down traffic patterns, survey results, site finances, and planned action items.

Katawa Shoujo

Already tried this, and good work there. As for the interface it's better than Nyuu Jene demo in which you couldn't save at all ie at least I could save here. And I assume that full version will have the option to change the hairstyle, right? For the voice, I think I could only comment that it was quite good imo. Once again good luck for the translation there, and if I may give one more comment (Or maybe nitpicking) here even if it's unfinished Sagrada Familia was still hard to built with sand.
PS - By the way, may I know what's trial 1 featured there? Just asking.

Going into the week of US Thanksgiving, typical good progress on TL and editing.
It's always a somewhat more inspiring picture to look at per-route progress, rather than at overall progress, so in the interest of promoting hype, I'll point out that the Cinderella route, the longest in the game by a good margin, and which was only started about a month ago if I recall correctly, is now 41% translated, thanks to the efforts of our staunch lead TL @Sanzy_Bones, and 30% edited. And in less than three weeks, the Kozue route has gone from 0% translated to 43%, thanks to our Froggy translator. So while maybe the numbers don't look so big week-to-week, our consistent progress is getting us there bit by bit.

Apparently my TLC calculation still wasn't quite the same as porygon's at the end, so, per the new progress reporting, TLC progress is a little higher this week even though there wasn't any TLC done this week. Yay, free progress!
In the more exciting news of actual progress, TL passed the 60% mark this week, and edit passed the 50% mark.

Nijima Yuu on a Key game... huh. I'm honestly unsure what to think about Nijima Yuu writing something "more in line with Key's style", but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm pretty sure Niijima isn't the scenario lead on this, Kai is. In the interview they conducted, Niijima also said that he'll be trying to keep things more in line with Key's style.

All issues in the bugtracker are currently closed (solved).
In the trial quick saving and loading doesn't work for some reason, but that is an issue with the original trial, so there isn't much we could do about it.
Also, the save screen can't be accessed from the settings menu, you can still use the save and load buttons in the ingame ui though
If you encounter any problems apart from those, please let us know so we can find a solution
