After finishing Inganock some days ago I picked up Cross†Channel (who wouldn't, after playing Nanaca Crash?). My 'playing' list is getting unbearably large, almost as if every VN without scroll wheel advance gets stalled at one point or another.. This is the translation from 2013. I'm not too convinced of the translation quality but it could just be my English at fault here. There are many unknown words I need to look up so duckduckgo is useful to have at hand for quick definition. There's just one thing, I can't find a way to hide message box that covers background image never thought of right click .

Cancer literally makes people wither away which is sad to watch but the adjective is very descriptive. What would be a better word?

Boku no Hitori Sensou is from the same scenario writer. Maybe someone decides to translate it ^^.

Is your non-unicode locale set to Japanese? Other than that maybe you have corrupt installer.

Split your party in two and place them few tiles to center from left/right sides of map, alternatively keep everyone stacked to center back. Since the battle has two (or more) parts you should also be stocked with as many resurrect/EP items as you can. Either boss or adds use AA canceler so you should focus on adds that cast it first and keep them busy by casting arts continously. Try to use Clock Up Ex and Earth Wall, especially when boss is using a special (it hurts a LOT) . It's a long fight. (Take this with a grain of salt, as I played it over a year ago.)

Is it possible to search using developer as a filter? I want to do some filtering and see ratings/popularity but can't find this feature.

KiraKira / Gahkthun - Haven't played either one euphoria - Lots of fetishes but does have a story. As other ClockUp games moans are bit unique (or just loud?). Fortunately there's volume slider. Aselia the Eternal - Entire route is missing but devs wrote to Steam forum they might consider translating rest of the game after Seinarukana comes. I'd wait but then again it's not certain they make the patch.

About 40 minutes in to Princess Waltz and it's a positive surprise. Music and SFX are very good.

Finished Unteralterbach yesterday. Didn't know what to expect since it was a chan project but it was ok. It's tempting to finish Crescendo's last few routes since it's been hanging for some time now.. What sort of VN is majikoi? Is it more slice of life moemoe kyun or plot based story.

I haven't needed it before but it certainly looks useful if it gives furigana and dictionary. On the other hand full machine translators (like google, don't know about ATLAS) most of the time fail to convey meaning of sentences. Yeah I can imagine it is after a while .

All of these look more or less interesting, especially Izuna Zanshinken. Unfortunately I can't read more than maybe 5-10 kanji so that leaves Koisuru Otome (once the patch is complete). How hard are the others language wise? I'd rather not rely on machine translation so if they aren't that 'advanced' reading might as well start reading short untranslated VN's to eventually get on that level.

I've read Kikokugai but somehow didn't find it's way to tell the story appealing. Guess I'll look into Hanachirasu and Coµ then. I don't mind gameplay if it's not awful.

I'm looking for VN's that have main character who works for organization and has some influence. Maybe something similar to Grisaia, Sharin no Kuni or G-senjou no Maou in that sense. Also I'd prefer if it has some plot and is not your slice of life moege. I mainly look for newer VN's (2006+) because they have good UI but older ones are welcome too.
