  1. Those comics are the best thing ever. I've been following Katie, the author, for years now.
  2. What's the difference? Ike was replacement for Roy in Brawl, after all. Nah, Ike has been my username around the internet for ages now, so I don't feel like I need a matching avatar. Plus I made this avatar recently and I like it. Actually, a confession: I would like to start using a new username everywhere in general, but I'm too uncreative to come up with something new and/or original.
  3. Confession: I have a cold, but even though I'm probably good enough to go to class, I'm staying home. I'll take this chance and keep reading Umineko.
  4. Sasasegawa Sasami (Yeah, her name is not actually Salami. It's a shame.) is a character from Little Busters!, so technically the VN is in English. However she is only a side character; she only gets a route for her in the Ecstasy version, and that's not translated yet, unfortunately. We might get it by the year 2057 or something like that.
  5. You gotta fill ur grills with love!!1 I just think inside is more sexy, really.
  6. Choosing 5 is quite a lot considering I haven't read that many VNs yet, but here's my personal top: 1. Rewrite 2. Umineko no Naku Koro ni (even though I haven't finished Chiru yet, I've seen enough to put it here) 3. ef -a fairy tale of the two- 4. 9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors 5. Little Busters!
  7. I think these are fairly good recomendations when looking for a romance, but I'd like to talk about them a little in more detail: ef revolves more around de hardships of two protagonists being able to end up toghether in all 5 routes. You get your fair share of romance in there, but the story as a whole is fairly complex, and I believe it's not what @InvertMouse is looking for here. eden*, on the other hand, while it doesn't have all that much romance at the beggining, turns very romantic as it goes on. In fact, the second half of the novel is pretty much just romance, and it felt really heart-warming when I read it. I'd definitely recommend this one, although it's a bit short.
  8. Man, such a thrilling story. It made me worry for the well-being of Sasazaçasssawa Salami until the very end. (And it kept me from getting bored on the way home from college, too.) Glad you got your grill safe, man. As for what I've done for my waifu, I have yet to find merchandise that doesn't require me to sell my internal organs in order to afford it.
  9. Decided to put in mi signature the VNs I'm currently playing. With any luck I'll have time to read them during summer vacation.
  10. I believe there are companies that buy products for you in Japan, and then ship them to your country. Though I don't know much about them other than the fact that they exist. Sorry I can't be of more help.
  11. Man, I wish I had the money to import at least one Key VN... Back on topic: yeah, there's no reason for you to bother with the +18 version when you have an All Ages version and the h-scenes are not really worth it. I'm currently reading Kud Wafter, and even though I haven't seen an h-scene yet, I'm not really looking forward to them. The game takes place during summer vacation, so all the LB's protagonists that remain in school are Riki, Kud and Kanata, if I'm correct.
  12. Haha, I've already seen that many of you are really interesting and funny people. I hope I'll get to know you a little with time I learned VNs were a thing after watching the Kanon 2006 anime and discovering it was an adaptation. I liked the anime, but since adaptations usually leave some content behind, I was curious about how was the original content. Ever since then, if I'm interested in any series, I always try to check the original. And thank goodness I decided to do that right before starting Little Busters, because that anime adaptation... Makes me laugh. And not for very good reasons. Oh, and thanks for the moe (I love moe girls~). Who is she?
  13. Choosing just one is hard. Not even my waifu could be considered my favorite among all heroines I know So have instead a character I thought I wouldn't like at first but then surprised me gladly:
  14. Oh, I thought it was done in that Twitter ballot. Well, derp on my part, thanks for letting me know.
  15. I've heard about a few of the VN on the list, though the one I had most interes in is Aiyoku no Eustia and it has already lost So... suggestions for what to vote? The 'Pyaa' video made me curious for the VN, so I may vote that
  16. Well, rape turns me off, not much I can do about that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  17. I've kinda recognised the pattern by now, haha. There's no reason to not participate though, so here are my thoughts: About genres, I don't usually turn down anything in particular, but for specific traits in the plot, the more hardcore and/or weird it gets, the less chances of me liking it. So stuff like gore, rape, futanari... yeah those really make me feel like closing the VN.
  18. Most of my favorites have been mentioned already, specially Rewrite's. I'm glad many people like them. So I'll give a shout out to ef's second opening. I particularly love the song, but I think it's amazing as a whole. (Minor spoilers of ef -a fairy tale of the two-)
  19. You know this cliche'd girls who are young or even loli but are actually very intelligent? I have a weak spot for sharp-minded characters with a cute side. If they turn out to be only part human and 100+ years old that's actually a plus.
  20. Hahaha! If I did that with my friends we would probably be laughing through the whole thing. The only thing similar we've done is watching nukige H-scenes by sharing screen on Skype. That kind of stuff goes from porn to comedy in seconds; it's rarely awkward or embarrassing for us.
  21. Nice to meet you all ^^ I watched Clannad's anime a long time ago. I though it'd be nice to read the VN it when it was released on Steam, but that price is waaay too much for me. I could just 'get it' anyway, but I actually would like to own it. So maybe some time in the future.
  22. I usually like VNs to have a good mix of genres. If it has a good share of action, mistery and romance I'll probably like it. That being said, I've also enjoyed VNs that focus on one genre. ef, for example, is mostly about romance and I loved it. You could say I'm a fan of well-written stories and good character development regardless of genre.
  23. Thanks! I do~ After reading Little Busters I just wanted to hug her tight and never let go <3
  24. Hi~ I actually signed up in the forums a few weeks back to ask for help with a VN installation, but I ended up comming back regularly and replying to some threads here and there, so I thought it'd be nice to properly say hello. So, nice to meet you! I've been into anime and all this weeabo stuff for about 8 or 9 years now, but I only learned about visual novels about 3 years ago, and since then I've read quite a few. I'm from Spain, and I study Translation at college. My mother tongues are Spanish and Catalan, I'm fluent in English since I was young, and I'm currently learning French and Japanese. With any luck I'll be able to lend a hand in a VN translation project in a few years. btw, my favorite VN is Rewrite.
