Reading this topic has saved me from having to pay attention to a really boring French class, so thank you everyone who shared their stories. That being said I'm afraid I don't have any embarrassing story myself. I'm always very open with my friends and family about reading VNs and any other weeabo stuff, and if anyone asks about it I have no problem to answer "Yes, some of these things have sex scenes in them". ...Though I wouldn't go as far as playing nikuges in public. I try to be careful with those.

Tsugumi's route deserves a 10/10 D:< Other than that it's not a bad review. I personally enjoyed more the plot-heavy parts, which are mainly the end of Sara's route, Tsugumi's route and Coco's route. Those parts alone make the reading very well worth it, but the beggining of all routes can be kind of slow-paced.

I did come across one VN by chance. After I finished reading ef, I was talking about its openings with a friend, and then he found this video and told me "hey, this is another opening from minori, wanna see it?". Neither of us knew eden* even existed. Then after watching the video we searched for info on the novel, and even though I already wanted to read something else I began reading this the following day. And I loved it.

Yooooo. A big thank you for making this guide. I just followed every step and everything is working perfectly. I'm currently learning Japanese and this is waaaay more efficient than looking up kanjis by radicals in the dictionary. I knew programs like these existed, but stumblig across this thread sure made things easy.

I wasn't too fond of reading back in the day, but after watching the Kanon 2006 anime I was curious to know how Shiori's route was originally. It took me forever to finish just that one route, but I ended up liking it way better than the anime, even despite the drawing style. To this day I still haven't read Mai and Ayu's route, lol. Oh, but if we count less traditional VNs, I actually read Ace Attorney many years before. I think it's been over 8 years, now.

It doesn't seem to work; I get an error message when executing the shortcut the program creates. For now I'll try reinstalling and such. I may have screwed something. Thank you, though! EDIT: Turns out I just had to run it as administrator, lol. It works perfectly now, thanks!! ^^

Hi. I'm sorry for coming specifically to ask for help, but I've been trying to get Kud Wafter to work for hours, now. Long story short, I installed the VN and get this message when executing REALLIVE.EXE: For what I've found, it looks like I need a NoDVD patch, but I can't find it anywhere, nor any alternative to the problem. Does anyone know of a solution or has the patch? My computer is Windows 7, 64 bits, region set to Japanese. All other VN I have (Little Busters, Rewrite, ef...) work perfectly (with English patches, of course). Thanks!
