  1. Just finished the two seasons of Chihayafuru. Was really good, but I still prefer Hikaru no Go way more. I might be biased by the nostalgia, but for being an anime/manga about go and still be interresting and exciting, Hikaru no Go will always be a masterpiece for me.
  2. I see your point. It's true that Jude is more "normal" that some other Tales of protagonists, so you forced the comparison a little. But, hey, he isn't that normal either. Scene you can only see in Milla's side :
  3. I agree with you for Jude (He is my favorite after Yuri), but I don't agree with "coincidence = destiny". In that case Xillia would be the same. Destiny is like Sorey being the Shepherd or The others are, even if not really "normals", not destined to be heroes.
  4. Most of the Tales of games aren't destiny BS. The MCs are just living their life. Take Vesperia for exemple: Yuri just wanted to take back the Blastia, and in the end he saved the world. It all began with a stolen item. From my memories, Zestiria, Innoncence, and arguably Hearts, Symphonia and Abyss have "destined" heroes. The others are just "normal guys". (Well, in Destiny 2's case, Kyle want to be a hero so bad that he becomes one, but he isn't really destined to be one) EDIT: And Milla's side of Xillia too, I guess.
  5. Finished Bravely Second, was quite good! Greatly enjoyed it. About the Tales of franchise, played all of them aside from Phantasia, Eternia, Innocence and Tempest, and I enjoyed all of them! I think I'll do Phantasia and Eternia soon, but I'll wait to have a Vita to play to Innocence R. Don't think I'll ever try to play Tempest again, though...
  6. Botsuraku Youtei Nanode, Kajishokunin wo Mezasu perhaps ? But it got novelized, so the author doesn't regulary update the WN anymore.
  7. No..... It's an RPG, not an Otome Game. It's quite good, and the "tsundereness" from Harold (even if forced) is really great. Also, he's not a "I'm japanase so I'm really gentle and want to help everyone" type, he just want to survive and help people while he is at it.
  8. I think it's wrong to compare NGNL and Mondaiji. Even if the premise is similar, from the start you know that one is a battle of wits while the other is a battle of strength with a little thinking about legends. One offer you mind blowing strategies while the other offer you cool fights. Also, Sora and Izayoi are both badass, so just for them the novels are a must read! x)
  9. Tears to Tiara II is freaking long. Took me 6 days of intense playing and 75h. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
  10. Finished Root Double. Was great, but not awesome. My "only problem" is the dual protagonist thingy. As important as Watase is, in the end, Natsuhiko is obviously the main one and the most important. But well, all the characters are fairly importants, so at least it's a plus. Just that I prefered Watase over Natsuhiko and was a little disapointed. I liked Watase's ending. I didn't really like Natsuhiko's ending. Oh, and as much as I prefer Mashiro over Yuuri, that CG was ******* beautiful: Now I guess I'll try to read Tokyo Babel again. I hope it will becomes interesting after a few hours.
  11. You're reading Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu - Dainishou - Yashiki no Shuukan Hen. The first book is adapted in Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu - Daisshou - Outo no Ichinichi Hen.
  12. Safe at school: Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? Hikaru ga Chikyuu ni Itakoro...... Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatte Iru Not safe: Oda Nobuna no Yabou Magika no Kenshin to Shoukan Maou
  13. I wasn't interested, then I saw that half of it (the main branch) was written by Takehaya. I MUST play it!
  14. Well, DanMachi just got licenced in France. Seriously, after SAO and Log Horizon, they couldn't licence anything else? The only different thing is Spice & Wolf... Anyway, LNs are coming in France, so it isn't that bad. The next title will be announced in april, I hope it will be something with a different theme.
  15. HakoMari is really good and worth reading. I really like the insanity in the last volume. As for a romance LN : Hikaru ga Chikyuu ni Itakoro...... (here: The first three volumes are on BT https://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Hikaru_ga_Chikyuu_ni_Itakoro...... The rest is here: http://hellping.org/hikaru/) One of my favorite. If you wait one or two months, the translation should be finished. (9/10 volumes are translated)
  16. Well, I think it's more than a friend but less than a lover. But, even without counting Silica and Lisbeth, there are still 4 girls that like him in "that" way. (Asuna, Suguha, Ronye (infatuation too ?) and Alice) So, how many girls need to like the MC to make it a harem ? Ah, it's been a while since I last read SAO (since volume 14), so excuse me if I said something stupid.
  17. Well, I don't think I'm wrong when I say that almost every girl likes (and not just as a friend) Kirito, it's pretty obvious. As for "There is no such thing as a female friend", there is. Rokujouma is a good example, until Koutarou make them fall for him... So I guess it doesn't work ? Anyway, it's possible, but most of the time, authors tend to make every girl fall for the MC. (well, depend of what genre you read) Also, why SAO for example ?
  18. Well, I don't really have a definition of the "harem" genre, but I class them in three categories : True Harem (Girls like the MC and the MC like each girl. e.g. Magika no Kenshi to Shoukan Maou), One Way Harem (Girls like the MC but MC only like one girl.) and Unknown Harem (Girls like MC, but we aren't sure about MC feelings. e.g. Rokujouma, I guess. We know he has affection for the girls, but we don't know if it's love.) So I would class SAO as a One Way Harem. And if you count the Material Edition after Alicization (non canon), a True Harem. But well, like I said, I don't really know how to define a harem. As for Sevens, with the chapters translated, I would say it's a One Way Harem for now. But I guess Lyle will crack and it will become a true harem. If everything go well, we should know that in less than a year.
  19. I thought Ikikoi was alright. In fact, Chouji is so badass in Ryou's and Tane's routes. It had such an impact on me that I can't help but like the VN.
