I'm doing QC and here's a little tease on progress of where I'm at.

Amane's route TL is at ~75%, while all other routes are fully translated and edited. It's almost done, but I don't have too much time lately, so I probably won't be able to finish it in April.

I was joking, obviously. I know full well that importing physical copies from Japan isn't exactly for everyone. But hey, if someone is really opposed to downloading a pirated copy, that's a fine solution. Also, I'm not some kind of anti-piracy crusader - I like buying and collecting things, but I do have tons of pirated stuff as well (the only thing that actually rubs me the wrong way is making up retarded justifications for piracy, but that's beside the point).
And yeah, I don't want to support MoeNovel eighter or even nineter. But that's not just about support - it's mainly about work. MeruP's work to be exact, since I have no idea how to make any patches. And since making and distributing a patch for the Japanese version will be the easiest, that's the priority. Whatever happens afterwards - I don't care. I won't be stopping anyone from making a Steam-patch or whatever - the TL will be publicly available, anyone can mess around with it (as long as they properly credit us and make it clear who's responsible for their Steam-patch, so that people won't be bugging us about troubleshooting stuff ).

Well, I hope that you'll enjoy them all when you get the opportunity to do so.
I enjoyed all routes, but my favourite girl was Lilly Satou without a doubt.
Thank you for the warm welcome to you as well!

Awwww, so many friendly replies from so many kind people! Thank you very much, it's really nice to meet you too!
Well, I still feel quite inexperienced, especially when it comes to supernatural themes, so it's very tempting to wuss out and say I don't really know what you're talking about, but since there are no wrong answers, I'd say it's a tie between Kirishima Touka and Kamishiro Rize.
After completing Katawa Shoujo, I read through Ageha's route in the restored version of If My Heart Had Wings, but the butchered translation of MoeNovel forced me to put it on hold. Instead, I read Narcissu and Narcissu Side 2nd, which I found very sad and heavy, but really beautiful at the same time. Then I caught wind of the freshly released Asagao Academy, which I had to try, since I've been following different members of both NormalBoots and Hidden Block for several years now. It was a light-hearted, fun VN (especially after Narcissu), which I plan to revisit in the future, because it still has many routes and endings I haven't explored yet. Currently, I'm reading Everlasting Summer, which is okay so far, though the protagonist is often a bit too detached and over-analytical for me. However, I'm saving the (seemingly) best routes for last, so anything is possible for now. Also, its soundtrack is really cool, and the background graphics... most of them are just freaking amazing!
No, it hasn't yet, although Narcissu Side 2nd came quite close. I admit, I'm a huge sucker for tearjerker stories, so I'm sure I'll come across a new favourite soon enough (I'm looking at you, Clannad).
Thank you, I'll keep it in mind, but I feel like I should mention that I already bookmarked an awesome topic by Kaguya, titled 50 translated VNs you should read before you die, so I think I'm set for a while.
TBH, I haven't read much manga yet, but if I really had to pick one out of the few series I started, the winner would be Tokyo Ghoul. For some reason, I tend to enjoy light novels more. My current favourite is Oreimo, although I have to say, I enjoyed the first season of its anime adaptation very much as well. However, my top anime is a bizarre tie between K-On! and 5 Centimeters Per Second, with Garden of Words as a close runner up. Now I know what you're thinking, and I don't understand it either. The moment I saw the opening of the first episode, I knew there was no turning back...

Greetings to Everybody!
So, I've been stalking these forums mostly in silence since last summer, but for some reason, I never took the time and effort to properly introduce myself, which was probably quite impolite of me. My apologies for that.
In a nutshell, I'm a 25-year-old freeter, mainly struggling with my bachelor's thesis in economics, while I'm interested in so many other things, I'm having a difficult time figuring out what to do after acquiring a degree. My story with visual novels started in 2014, when I tried Katawa Shoujo and instantly got hooked. Apart from the fact that it affected me much more than I had previously anticipated, it also re-sparked my interest towards anime and manga, which I lost during primary school due to different extracurricular activities, new hobbies and other IRL matters.
Since then I'm on a huge, continuous journey, trying to discover at least a small fraction of this fascinating world, including what I've missed out on for about the last 15 years. I came across Fuwanovel after reading about the retranslation project of If My Heart Had Wings somewhere, and besides dropping by regularly to check its progress, I often found myself reading through other various contents of the site and its friendly community. I've been thinking about getting involved a bit more actively for several months now, but my overall shyness and poor expressive abilities discouraged me from doing so. I hope to change and be more sociable in the future.
I think that concludes my possibly roundabout and most definitely overdue introduction. Thank you for reading it and for having me of course!
Also, if you'd like to know anything else about me, feel free to ask!

FabrM reacted to Pabloc in Kono Oozora H-Scenes Porting Project
@garine@Ronnie21093
Ageha's route is finally translated (or yeah, I was supposed to post an update about it... well, here it is ). Currently it's being edited. I haven't started going over Amane's route yet (I need a break after fixing that Ageha-route-trainwreck), but I probably won't be able to finish it this year.
As for the partial patch, we didn't want to deal with testing, QC and all technical stuff multiple times, so we decided to only release the whole thing.

FabrM reacted to Kaguya in 50 translated VNs you should read before you die
This list won't feature the VNs in order of "how good they are". Rating them would be way too much of a clusterfuck to me.
The VNs are not in their respective order. Meaning number 1 is not the best, and so on.
1_CHAOS; HEAD
2_Cross Channel
3_G-Senjou no Maou
4_Fate/Stay Night
5_Forest
This Visual Novel is the easiest visual novel translated to get a bad ending without using a walkthrough- which just adds to the fun of it. It makes a massive amount of references to common literature, which makes it even better.
6_Katahane
It may seem like an ordinary moege- the atmosphere is light, the story is full of cuteness, which you can note by the character design and soundtrack. It gets really good in the middle, and you'll be dying to know what happens in the end. A game with multiple perspectives, it's definitely one of the most enjoyable Visual Novels I've ever read.
7 Majikoi
8_Little Busters!
9_Tsukihime
"You shouldn't tell lies that you can't even fool yourself with"
10_Swan Song
A post apocalyptic Visual Novel.
11_Symphonic Rain
It may seem like your ordinary moege. Trust me, it's not.
12_Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo (and sequel)
13_Sekien no Inganock
Steampunk. An atmosphere full of mysteries and references that will make your head blow up.
14_Steins; Gate
A visual novel that deals extensively with time travel and it's consequences.
15_Utawarerumono
16_Fault: Milestone (1 & 2)
17_Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
18_Kara no Shoujo
19_Umineko no Naku Koro ni
20_Planetarian
21_Ever 17
Another top 10.
22_Remember11
It lacks in the ending, but otherwise the story of this VN has enough to easily become one of my all-time favorites.
23_Zanmataisei Demonbane
24_Rewrite
"Could it possibly be rewritten, this fate of hers?"
Another one that enters the top 10.
25_Narcissu
26_Grisaia no Kajitsu
27_Saya no Uta
Only if you enjoy dark and messed up settings.
28_Higanbana no Saku Yoru ni
29_Eien no Aselia
30_Rose Guns Days (1 & 2)
There are small sections of gameplay on this one, but you can skip them by pressing the space bar, so this still qualifies.
31_Sengoku Rance
I feel obliged to comment on this VN before suggesting it to anyone. It's an Alicesoft title, which speaks a lot for itself... If you don't know how it's going to be like, well.. Kind of tough to describe. Lots of sex, including comedy rape. Alicesoft tends to make the whole story a comedy until right near the end, where things actually do get serious. It's worth checking out, if you don't mind Rance's personality.
32_Phenomeno
Want a short VN that can captivate you for their whole duration? Here is it.
Visual novel adapted from the youth horror novel written by Hajime Ninomae and illustrated by yoshitoshi ABe.
33_Ef- A Fairy Tale of the Two
34_Dysfunctional Systems
Another one great for those who want short Visual Novels.
35_Daibanchou
Another Alicesoft title. While Rouga is not near Rance's level when it comes to pissing off people, alicesoft's style is something which often doesn't please people.
36_Yume Miru Kusuri
The endings pack quite a punch.
37_Kikokugai- The Cyber Slayer
38_Eden
39_Hoshizora no Memoria
40_Katawa Shoujo
Yep, it's somewhat overrated. Still, the fact that it is substantially easier for those who are starting to play visual novels to read should not be discarded, and overall, the story was good.
41_World End Economica
42_YU-NO
43_Shikkoku no Sharnoth
Yep, there is a minigame on this one. If you download a save data you can skip the minigame, though. So it still qualifies. Another VN that enters my top 10.
44_Muv Luv Alternative
The first Muv Luv didn't have enough to enter this list. You should still read it, though~
MLA is definitely awesome.
45_Dangan Ronpa
46_Comyu - Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukoku
47_Hanachirasu
48_Ayakashibito
49_I/O
50_Deardrops
