  2. And it's out! At least on Android: Google Play Link
  3. Thanks, we have an original song in the mix from and excellent artist: Jony C The game is still being tested but should be out soon.
  4. Screenshot dump for a belated Halloween: (No thumbs, sorry - large pictures ahead).
  5. News and updates are here: http://www.indiedb.com/games/kaitlyn-in-chinaland Putting the finishing touches on it now, so it should be available very, very soon.
  6. Amazing artwork - I can't wait to see more in the future on this.
  7. Seems exciting! I'll send some encouragement your way! Yay!
  8. Sorry! I didn't even notice the date! Eep! (GOOD LUCK BTW, contact me if you need a beta tester)
  9. When the self-consumed, all-American prom queen wannabe Kaitlyn gets sent to China as a punishment, she must navigate the waters of the language, the culture shocks... and the boys. It's a West meets East romantic comedy about some of the pitfalls of living in China and struggling to belong. Kaitlyn in Chinaland is an otome, language learning game.
  10. Thanks to both of you! I hope you guys like the demo. It's always fun to write quirky characters and to see them interact with each other. (Plus, I don't like faceless protagonists so all of my games have some pretty interesting protags in them. Hehe).
  11. I'm with you. I'd like more CG kiss scenes. (That's why I hope to put them in my own stuff).
  12. Depends on what you were looking towards making. The problem is with working with others is that some people get such a narrow idea of what they want to create and it becomes more like one dictator than a collaborative effort. I made one great game with a collaborative effort with everyone having a say, but I have seen some dictators around that just want people to write their story for them.
  13. Yeah, it's more of a comedy really. Not supposed to be totally creepy. I find VNs struggle in pulling off genuinely creepy, so why bother? Eh, I will keep these things in mind for my next project though!
  14. Thanks for this. Yeah, I am just completely out of my depth as far as targeting the right audience and all that. Since the art style isn't the usual anime style so it's kind of hard to reach that audience I feel.
  15. What happens when a conspiracy theorist, a demonologist, a psychic, an abductee, a Voodoo Queen, a paranormal investigator and a psychologist-in-training are brought together for a one-time TV show called Paranormal Teens? Paranormal Teens is a unique visual novel project that looks into the real perspective and stories of the supernatural - with a special emphasis on demonic involvement. Additional character info and demo links: http://www.godline.ga/paranormal-teens.html UPDATE: Writing at 97% Menial coding to be finished Everything else: DONE! FEATURES - 20-ish CGs - Around 40,000 words per path. Hope to give further updates soon!
  16. I have to admit, I've been failing at getting my new game Paranormal Teens out there. I mean, I've been trying to put the demo up in different places (IndieDB, IndieGameStand, GameJolt etc) but it's hard work getting people to know about it. Does anyone have any advice? Here's the Google play page:
