Patience is a virtue. That being said... Shizuru's route has been fully translated! A big thanks to Dark Blank for getting started on it and a huge kudos to Fiddle for finishing it off.
 



 
We're almost there. Just one more route to trek.
 
Expect some downtime regarding translation progress during the next few weeks.
 
At this point, I'm going to say Shizuru as a character has overtaken Hinata at my #2 spot for best girl ranking, and although everyone on the team may will diagree with me, I believe her route is the best (with Maya's route in tow). It also contains the most entertaining h-scenes. Just my personal preference, though. I do have a strong feeling Shizuru will end up being Eclipsed's favorite character due to her likeness of Louise (from Zero no Tsukaima) during certain points.

After several months of delay and real life making us busy, we're finally proud to present you with the full English translation for Lilium x Triangle.
 
While it took longer than we predicted it would take (by a few months) we could at least make sure that the quality was up to standards as much as possible. Everyone who worked on this went over the translation and hundreds of adjustments were made until we finally got to where we're at.
 
As the first visual novel translation project I ever started and went through with, I am really happy with the way things have come along and I have learned quite a great deal of things throughout the course of this journey which have definitely made me better in the translation field.
 
Today is my birthday but I'm happy to be giving everyone a present instead, which in itself is also something I wanted to see done so it works both ways here. And I swear I didn't attempt to time it, it was a coincidence~
 
I really appreciate the help everyone in the team gave, all of these people volunteered to help and offer their free time to make this project come true and without them it really wouldn't have been the same.
 
Enough with the rambling though, I'm sure you wanted the patch by now so here it is.
All the instructions and stuff are in the Patch Notes file.
If you find any problems in the patch somewhere, please do post it here so we can fix it.

I hope you enjoy this short little yuri game, it's no masterpiece but I think it's charming enough for what it is and everyone who worked on it quite liked it, and maybe this will spark the interest in translating more yuri games, and hey at least we got this done in less than a year amirite?
 
So there you have it, maybe one day I'll start another translation project similar to this one, but for now it's time to focus on college and do something else.

Finished Dengeki Stryker. It was aiight. Followed the classic Overdrive formula. Not that its a good or bad thing of course

To promote as in advertising or publicity? Probably social media? I know I found out about VNs through a Reddit post on /r/gaming. Yeah I know default subreddits are mostly shit, but they're pretty good if you want something to be viewed by people. You'll get tens of thousands of views guaranteed, even up to hundreds of thousands of views. Some of those people looking at those posts are bound to get into the VN scene. The VN scene from what I can gather is pretty tiny ( <100,000 people? Being really generous here) so this is pretty good imo.   This was a couple of years ago though so I'm unsure about recently. Reddit is a social media site with lots of fan communities, so I just decided to vote for both in the poll.
 
Steam is also pretty big for promoting VNs. Millions of people use Steam. Millions of potential customers! Exaggeration of course, but it's a pretty big deal to get your game on a storefront where millions of people can view it. Yeah VNs will probably be subject to a lot of jokes, but some people will be genuinely interested. Not real surprising to see VN localization companies translating a lot more all-age titles. Probably raking a lot more cash than when they were just selling their stuff on their own sites. 
 
Piracy? Yeah it's big no doubt about it. 
 
This is all just about advertisement though.
 
Historically as in the last 25 years though? Dunno, haven't been around that long.
 
A cop out answer would be that all of these sites and organizations have done a lot to contribute to the VN scene in the west and that you can't really give one the most credit as a lot of them are interconnected.

Finished Katahane. It was aight. Strong middle, weak intro and ending. Also that ending song was really unnatural to me. Finally going to read Steins;Gate!

Been reading Katahane at a blistering pace of 10 lines per day, but it's started to pick up at the

. Getting real interesting.

In terms of streaming, I think Grisaia and most visual novels in general are far too slow to be streamed. It's sorta like The Witcher 3. A critically acclaimed game, but generally something that's boring to watch other people play.  To be fair, the only person I've ever watched stream a VN is SodaPoppin, and he has the attention span of a 5 year old for anything that's not World of Warcraft. Something like NekoPara is pretty easy to stream cause well, bouncing boobs.
 
I mean, VNs in general are very niche. Review copies are nice and all, but only if you can find people who want to actually read/play the VN or if it fits their channel.

A leak just occurred and it has been revealed that one of Sekai Project's announcements will be that they're working with Lemnisca on Root Double. This is pretty dang exciting. It's a very highly rated survival story where nine people have nine hours to survive and... wait. I've heard that one somewhere before. IIRC there is actually some shared pedigree between Root Double and 999. Lemnisca is a quality translation group to partner with, too, previously doing some Infinity stuff, I/O, and Killer Queen. 
 
The leak came in the form of the OP on Youtube which has since been taken down. I haven't personally seen it before it was removed but enough other people did to basically confirm it. 
 
Also, a SonoHana event will be held at MangaGamer's booth: http://mikajyo.pink/event.html Yeah that doesn't make it obvious at all...

It's been a bit of a bumpy ride, but thanks to our new translator progress for the common route has finally reached 100%. Over the next month or two extensive TLC, editing, and quality checking will be going on in order to ensure the common route patch that we release is up to par with our standards.

Traditionally, the fan translation scene produced very few moege translations. The large amount of moege translations are a relatively new phenomenon, mostly started by us. It's not too surprising that the localization companies would fall behind on that trend, since they're by and large made up of all the people from the fan scene who were previously not doing moege at all.

Finished Kikokugai and Quartett. Both short VNs but different in almost every way. Both are good reads imo.

Soon it'll be time for the final spurt.

Princess Evangile is probably the one I would choose first for romance.Definitely the most romantic out of the ones i've mentioned in my opinion . Majikoi is mainly comedy and then romance. Same thing with My Girlfriend is the President, comedy first. The romance is still strong though for the whole list
 
As for the Majikoi anime I've only watched a few episodes but I can tell you that the VN is definitely better than the anime to convey the full story as the anime only focuses on one character route IIRC. There is softcore hentai in the anime though if you're interested in that lol but nothing like the VN.

Princess Evangile, Maji de Watashi ni Koishinisai, To Heart 2,  Ikinari Anata ni Koishiteru, and Koi iro Chu! Lips. Pretty light-hearted games with romance in them for the most part. Not much in the way of animation though. 
 
Check out SakuSaku too after it gets fully translated in a couple of months (?) .
 
EDIT: Oops, forgot to mention My Girlfriend is the President. Definitely a must read IMO

Umi's route is undergoing a revision too.
 
Just to note, but you probably shouldn't act so entitled towards translations. A fan translation's just volunteer work. If you want to read something so badly, then you should just learn the language. You ought to redirect some of that passion on criticizing other translation groups to improving your own capabilities as an individual. 

Reading Forest. Its uhh... definitely different. Strangely enjoyable.

I will wait about a month or two (I still need to finish my assignment at my current project first) to see this project is really dead before try to revived it.
 
I hate to be blame that I stole other people's work but I hate to see this translation project dead again more.
