Question in title, really. I don't personally mind too much either way, but given that every other board seems to be visible when not logged in, it's a bit weird.

Surprisingly, still not dead. Found a nice, quiet desk space at this camping, which is an amazing motivator for work it seems as I learned 49 kanji this session (I was kinda shooting to do the whole of lesson 18, but I'm not going for like 25 more tyvm...). I was a bit sloppier with trying to memorize in general, which made me a bit faster and (apparently) not much worse at remembering, at least for today's review. the Elements section when i'll have to think up my own stories is coming up in like 70 kanji or so, it seems - we'll have to see how that goes once I get there. For the review today I did something which I usually don't: I wrote the kanji down in mah notebook. Partially this was because it was actually doable fro ma practical standpoint due to the desk, partly it was also as I wanted to have some extra memo aid due to the large amount of kanji involved. Wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be... Stats: Learnt kanji: 470 Percentage complete: 21% Days with only reviews: many Days missed completely: like five or so in total, maximum two in a row but that was a special case. I'll get this stuff done sooner or later, it seems

I've had some fairly decent social experiences in post-wotlk WoW, actually. Joined a random guild which invited everyone at the start of Cata (mosty for the benefits. Clever move, blizzard...). Thing is gchat was funny because the officers liked trolling and stuff, and there were guild runs etc, which actually got into some bonding at times. Otherwise, you probably need to have an old school style mmo with all the hardcoreness that implies to really get into the whole community thing.

Picked up Hoshimemo again and quicklyish finished Komomo. Quite good, but for whatever reason lacked the emotional impact Isuzu had, though it certainly did some expansion on wtf is going on in the setting. Started Chinami afterwards, not very far into it. Feels like an etension of the common route atm, actually. Nevertheless, interesting... Oh, and now that I finally have internets I can start working on some reviewy stuffs again. yays or something Oo.

Apart from running regadd.bat, you also have to install the included Essai font. If you're on windows 7 you just have to double click it, otherwise you might havet o drag it into your fonts folder or something similarly complex. It's a pity SR is so hard to get running properly, lol.

You're somewhat right about using the five senses, I prolly should try to be a bit less visual. With that said I certainly don't just memorize the words of the story, and the thing is, creating the mental picture and memory of the story is the hard part -- imagining stuff takes a lot of mental strength for me lol (I am currently at kanji 376). Oh, and I totally offtopiced this didnt I...

Due to the love and general lack of control in the moment, those affected are temporarily unable to use any active powers.
