Thought I'd say hi to this place! I'm thebackup, aka PixælSoft / Project Memoria, and I'm a VN dev. I've developed VNs such as Café Memoria and the Dating Sim! series of games, including Dating Sim! Luna's Lovely Summer (DSLLS) which is late in development (unfortunately my artist resigned due to personal issues, and currently looking for a replacement artist to pick up where she left off). I have to say one of the first VNs that inspired me to create my own are Kanon and Hourglass of Summer (that was like... 15+ years ago). I'm mostly active on my Twitter / X, but you can also find me occasionally at Lemmasoft too. Pleasure to be here

  3. Almost every beginner visual novel guide has story, gameplay, and western original visual novels. What about for people who want to try that slice of life genre? In this video, I'll provide 10 moege options for those new to the genre.

Welcome! It's always nice to see new people around here. Hopefully the forums can help you look for that replacement artist! Also, your games look lovely! I'll keep them in mind to read when I have time.

  5. Greetings Fellow Creatives, This week's new free music tracks are all on my Horror/Surreal page. They are: "SHATTERED REALITY"_LoFi "WELCOME TO THE MANSION"_LoFi "SHATTERED MIND"_LoFi "CREEPY ACTION"_LoFi "HORROR GAME INTRO"_LoFi https://soundimage.org/horrorsurreal/ As always, they are 100% free to use with attribution. Attribution information is here: https://soundimage.org/attribution-info/ Please don't forget about my Ogg music packs which enable you to download all of my tracks at once from various genres. It's a huge time-saver, plus they sound richer than MP3 files...almost as good as my original WAV recordings, and much smaller in file size. https://soundimage.org/ogg-music-packs-2/ Enjoy!

  7. Greetings Everyone! This week's new free-to-use-with-attribution music tracks are: On my Action 4 page: "NIGHTTIME ESCAPE_V001"_LoFi https://soundimage.org/action-4/ On my City/Urban 3 page: "CORPORATE ESPIONAGE 2"_LoFi "DREAMING OF NOIR"_LoFi "ALLEY GRUNGE"_LoFi "CRIME GAME MENU"_LoFi https://soundimage.org/city-urban-3/ On my Introspective/Emotions page: "DIGITAL INTROSPECTION"_LoFi "QUIET INTELLIGENCE"_LoFi https://soundimage.org/introspective/ And on my World page: "PALIN’ AROUND PARIS_v002" https://soundimage.org/world/ OTHER NEWS I've had several people ask me how to find my newest tracks on my site. For genres with multiple pages, my newest tracks are on the pages with the highest numbers...(for example, my newest fantasy tracks are on my Fantasy 12 page...my oldest ones are on Fantasy 1.) Anyhow, I went ahead and reordered the text links to my music pages (right side of the screen) to reflect this. The tracks on each page are the same as always. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Have a good week!

  8. New update, weretiger edition. 02mai_070.s translated, edited and pushed. I pulled the 山月記 lines from Paul McCarthy's official English translation. @jengkelYou can download and build the patch here: https://gitgud.io/WJHB/saimin-yuugi-translation/-/tree/maiya?ref_type=heads. 060 (and now 070) are included in the repository. I explained how to use arc_conv to build a dataX.pack (make X some number greater than 7) earlier in this thread.
