  1. That's understandable. The first half was true to the book but after the beach episode (which the animators invented because fan-service is necessary even in horror anime) they just kept changing things. You can download the translated version from Barnes and Noble for around five dollars if anyone is interested, I heard they did pretty good job.
  2. That is another (lol) anime that I keep running into where people either love it or hate it. I watched it and loved it, my one friend wouldn't go past episode 2 and then a week later I marathoned it again with another friend and he loved it.
  3. That picture just made my day.
  4. If you like it I would recommend watching the whole thing. That was just a skip forward episode they did. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB332265A0D8A591A
  5. Who wants nightmares! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJw64YBXUMQ
  6. That coupled with the last line of your avatar makes me hear this: Edit: Time selection doesn't seem to work so you'll have to jump to 46 seconds. Welcome Green! XD
  7. Personally, I'll take a good Japanese ghost story over a slasher movie any day.
  8. Highly, highly recommend (it was in my top 10 if you saw that). The game-play is fun enough if you like puzzles but the real fun comes in the morality meter, which makes it extra fun to play in groups (or with a significant other ). Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2FjqieajyY
  9. . Yeah, it doesn't seem to be a character driven anime. It seems to rely on suspense and overall quality. @ down: I'm the only one except one out of my friends who like it sadly lol. They said its to boring. I must disagree. It's definitely not character driven, I could argue two though, but I did like it overall. It started slow in my opinion but by around episode 10 I was hooked. Part of me still wants to go back and read the novel. Additionally, if you are into the suspense mystery combo I would highly recommend checking out Another.
  10. Annnnd this is back in my head again. So I'll spread the love. XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NI_fgwbmJg0
  11. Simply walk away from you, thus taking away all of your good luck and causing an unfortunate accident.
  12. Now I am in my element. Kudos to the Llamas with Hats as well! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwiuX2OAvJg
  13. 8.5 Gives me the mental image of someone seeing something embarrassing and then getting slapped in the face, which would be entertaining to watch.
  14. 2. SPAM and eggs (guess my theme for today).
  15. True (creates time paradox) False The next person expects a kind of Spanish Inquisition
  16. For me the first Disgaea was good and the rest of them failed to compare (although 4 wasn't too bad). D2, once again, is in my backlog.
  17. If you're into crazy damage counters have you tried any of the Disgaea games?
  18. Mugen souls was pretty good and I plan to beat Z eventually and the FFX remake. My friend and I have been playing Valkyria Chronicles for the last 4 years..we still haven't beaten it.
  19. Since we have a Top 10 Favorite Anime topic I figured we could use this as well (and maybe I can find some more games to add to my never-ending backlog). XD What are your top 10 favorite video games excluding VNs (they don't have to be in order). Mine are: 1.) Persona 3 2.) Persona 4 3.) Catherine 4.) The World Ends With You 5.) Kingdom Hearts (358/2 Days if I have to pick) 6.) Pokemon (any works but probably G/S or Stadium) 7.) Kirby 64 8.) Luigi's Mansion 9.) Devil Survivor 10.) Tales of the Abyss (Tales of Graces f was close though) If counting VNs I would have put Zero Escape and Ace Attorney in there. Senran Kagura Burst, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Paper Mario, No More Heroes, Little Big Planet, Trauma Center, and Persona 2 were all close contenders.
  20. I know Catherine was (man what a great game) and I think one of the earlier Persona games was as well. Then again, Atlus could release information tomorrow. XD Like I said before, they tend to do what they want and not always save everything for a huge conference and I respect that.
  21. Marathoning Kirby 64 from Kirby's Dream Collection. My first and favorite Kirby game.
  22. I have so many games backlogged already. =( The funny thing is they're all home consoles, I seem to get through portable games a lot quicker.
  23. You're correct, the purpose of E3 is to get media coverage and show stuff off. The thing is that Persona Q is already out in Japan (June 5th) and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is already out for arcade and the console version comes out in August in Japan. Considering we're getting them in November and September respectively that's pretty good for localization time. Persona 5, on the other hand, has basically no news even in Japan, so they're not going to show game-play or demos to the West when Japan hasn't even seen them. It's also not set to release in Japan until "Winter 2014" (no actual date) and in the US until sometime in 2015 so it could quite possibly be at E3 next year. Personally, I would expect news at the Tokyo Game Show this year (September 18-21) at the latest.
  24. Whelp, time to set up that PSN account I've never used. XD
