Really, I never got too much of a visual novel vibe from them. For me Zero Escape and Ace Attorney got me interested and watching Clannad served as the final push.

Yes. What I've heard is that the anime was deemed so bad that the company just hired a bunch of good VAs and said "Do whatever you want, ad lib, whatever." They re-did the dub later accurately and tried to cover this version up but it's hilarious. It's the only officially made abridged series.

Thanks, its definitely up there for me too. I seem to like either extremely dark or extremely lighthearted anime with very little middle ground. Another recommendation would be the first English Dub of Gakkou no Kaidan, which makes me nearly asphyxiate with laughter when I try to watch it. The dub cast just did whatever they wanted and hilarity ensued.

I honestly would have been surprised if Atlus released any Persona 5 news there. They seem to do things on their own schedule, which I respect.

Along with almost everyone else I highly recommend Nichijou (which can still make me laugh after watching clips hundreds of times). Additionally, Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, Hataraku Maou-sama, Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?, The World God Only Knows, Maria Holic, Sakura Trick, and FLCL (although that's old). Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuuutsu was also funny if you've seen the show. No, you are definitely not alone. XD I'm still hoping that by some miracle we get Kid Icarus Uprising 2. Most people are I know are going to be buying one for the Ruby and Sapphire remakes so they can experience the nostalgia. Both Pokemon and Persona Q are set to come out right before Thanksgiving too so I can probably only play one of them before Christmas. Decisions.

In my opinion, the presentations (aside from Nintendo) were not as good as usual but that's cause there was not a lot from the Japanese developers (such as Square) featured but some people were satisfied. If you are have a 3DS or Wii U I would consider watching the Nintendo Direct but much of what they showed is not out until 2015. The game will be a cooking/rhythm combination game and if you do have a 3DS, I would recommend getting Senran Kagura Burst (the US release of the first two games) off of the Nintendo eShop.

I just finished Another recently, it was beautiful. If you're a fan of horror or mystery genres I would definitely check it out.

Haha thanks. The name comes from the manga Black Cat by Kentaro Yabuki which was the first manga I ever read. The funny thing is I'm actually a dog person. XD
