Finished Toradora!

Probably my favorite high school group of friends type of story thus far. Y'all were right about 2nd half being exceptional; I really felt for the characters and watching them sort out their feelings was really enjoyable; no being massively irked like Nagi no Asukara etc.

May consider picking up the VN someday in the future; any thoughts on that?

My pure team is finally all level 80/100 (100 being the Kotori)



Getting Umi idolized would replace the Moon Viewing Rin for a 300 stat increase, and when I get 1 more idolized event SR I'll finally remove that Promo Kotori, since I'm willing to sacrifice the 100 extra points compared to the Deer Hanayo since they're both scorers, and Hanayo gives more towards the special UR multipliers.

I'm actually feeling empty now that the event is over... I don't know what to do with my spare time now, since I could be doing a lot. I need to figure out what to start with!

Lastly, I was hit with some major nostalgia earlier, which was perfect timing for hitting rank 200. The event was stressful and blocked out a lot of other mild emotions like nostalgia, but now that it's over, I played Sweet&Sweet Holiday again. I was hit with this huge nostalgia trip from memories of when I started the game during the very first event. The event song was S&SH and was the first time I heard the song, and was the first song I played a fair number of times. I dunno, the song just left an imprint on me because one of my friends was tired of hearing HAPPY HOLIDAY over and over, back when me being addicted was a new thing

So yeah, that's all for now~

That's an understatement. Toradora becomes amazing in the second half, the first just being okay. It's an anime that has to build up to it's full force.

Random Update 6

Translation Progress: 100%
Editing Progress: 28%
 
The big update is here as promised!
This week was one heck of a ride, I got sick out of nowhere and couldn't work on this for a while, it sucked.
But once I recovered I went full force and did all the remaining lines before a week had passed, and thus we finally reached that 100% goal.
 
So what comes now?
First off I need to do quite a bit of TLC, especially in H-scenes. I learned the hard way H-scenes are quite difficult to translate, this was definitely a first for me so while I appreciated the experience, I definitely won't try to translate H-scenes so soon in the future without more proper practice.
I don't have a way to track TLC progress so all I can say is "it's being done" but it shouldn't take as long as the translation did so at least I got that going for it.
 
Ryechu has already started editing so while I fix stuff here and there, he'll be working on the rest so progress is still being made. He works 10 times faster than me too
 
Overall, this was a fun ride, I definitely learned some of the tribulations of visual novel translations, even if I only worked on such a short game, but this is very valuable experience for me who wants to major in this kind of stuff.
 
I don't know how often I'll be posting updates now. Editing takes less time in comparison to translation and I don't have a way to track TLC in percentages, but whenever we hit meaningful milestones I'll make sure to post here about it. Probably when TLC is done and when editing is done.
