    Afaik, foreigners need some sort of degree to get a work visa in Japan.

    A Bachelor in Arts is just the lowest one they accept.

    Release date is set to be December 22, trial version will release at C92.

     

    There's apparently also some new function with maps and stuff, looks interesting.

    Because I am such a great person, I will youl give a short translation of the QA page.

    Main Game:  will be around 30-40h, 4 main routes, 3+1 sub routes, 120 CGs, over 70 chars, over 300 mob chars, you don't need to play the other games but it probably helps understand the world, game will be on 2 DVDs, currently no plans for online sale.
    As for the demo: will be around 7-10 hours and distributed nationwide in pc shops, more information will follow when available .

     

    If you have the time, check out the livestream on NND in about an hour, they will probably mostly talk about baseball.

    Honestly, I think they are less concerned about legal problems and more about triggered people destroying the companies "image" leading to removing the game from steam, people burning their HQ etc.

    Companies being scared of negative feedback is becoming more and more of an issue nowadays.

    Well, the page talking about the removal of that scene is the page for the 18+ patch (NSFW).

    So at least you wont get the scene through an official patch.

    The scene and image isn't even that hardcore. But apparently still too much for people who get confused by Japanese names. :OurLordAndSavior:

    Yeah, i had noticed that as well.

    But I wouldnt call something that only appears in a logo the official title.

    They always refer to the game only as Wonderful Everyday.

    When you look at the official JP hp or stores like dmm the name is always given as 素晴らしき日々 〜不連続存在〜.

     

    Also why is it in German. I dont remember any shots with that German translation in the JP version.

    Japanese often use German because it's cool. But I don't see why the English would do that...

    I forgot people who are confused by Japanese names are the target audience for VNs in the West :badnicoman:
    They should also localize the character names. Yuki could be Alice :Kappa:

     

    Thing is, there are also lots of Japanese games with an English title.

    So my first thought when hearing a title like Wonderful Everyday would be that it's an Japanese original title.

    Which is also why it was only last year I realized IMHHW was actually Konosora :chaika:
    (it sounds bulky enough to be something a Japanese person thought of)

     

    I don't intend to start a discussion about the superiority of the sacred Japanese language or some weeaboo shit like that.

    However, while translating 素晴らしき日々as Wonderful Everday might be acceptable, leaving out the second part in the official title is something I can't approve of.

    At least not for such a short title. I dont even think their KS mentions what 不連続存在 means in English.

     

    (I might accept leaving out something with a longer title such as 愛する妻、真理子が隣室で抱かれるまで ～あなたが知らない事、彼がたくさん教えてくれました～
     ...thankfully they were able to correcly paraphrase it as Please Bang my Wife)

    I remember somewhere there being an (unofficial) english patch (though not sure how trustworthy it is lol). If not I guess I'll either a. live through it, b. translate it myself (easier said than done lol), c. get my mate to translate it for me (even harder lol) or d. use a program to do it for me like VN Reader I think it's called

    Easiest way to get around that screen would be to click the login button and then log in through google or facebook.

    At least that works for me.

    Saving things in the VirtualStore folder is a thing Windows does.

    The programmers dont put it there themselves.

    Nowadays many things that you wouldnt expect end up there.

    Has something to do with trustinfo manifests, windows rights etc. Instead of saving it in the program files the data goes into the virtualstore.

    Discussions about extracting things from VNs are alright, they are a huge part of the content in the TL sections of this forum.

    Just dont upload or share the things you extracted, this is a discussion board, not a warezboard.

     

    There are a myriad of tools to unpack VNs.

    You should probably check what engine DC3R uses.

    Or try an allrounder program like Crass

    If you wanted to rate a game as perfect you would have to rate it something like 10,000/10,000, because 10 only steps arent enough for that.

    Not that I ever cared about rating when choosing to play something.

    If anything I'd prefer a up/down vote system. A simple did you like it or not.

    Not that what other people think matters in any way, because everyone's but my own opinion are shit. :Kappa:

     

    Personally, I don't really rate things either, I am more like "yeah, this game is the shit" or "haha, no. thanks, get the fuck outta here" :yumiko:

     

    Just as other people said, rate things however you want. (Your opinion is probably shit anyway).

    I would buy a proper Japanese All-Ages version, but never something censored by Westerners where they just cut everything that goes against our good christian beliefs :yumiko:

    For example there are some nice All-Ages VNs on PS2, but when you look on steam you will see censored shit like この大空に、翼をひろげて or 忠臣蔵４６＋１ where they even fucked up the engine :badnicoman:
