I will be quite curious to see how supporters of them will react if they don't release an 18+ patch over here. Grab the popcorn and a sapporo and sit back and watch the mayhem as it unfolds. The above image if you squint you can actually see that at least one of those CGs is significantly (not censored) different from the one in the current game.

While two of them are technically the same it's hard to believe that there are five panels for visual novel announcements now at AX. That is to say nothing for the multiple additional panels that are not about announcements. I just find it surprising that ten years ago we'd be lucky to have even one. Say what you will about Sekai Project but their goal of making visual novels more known in the west did in fact succeed.

I know so many of you have oh so little faith in JAST these days but this happened to be in the panel listing for anime expo; JAST USA Visual Novel Panel (18+) Live Programming 3 JAST USA is one of the premier companies bringing over licensed visual novels H-games to English-speaking fans. At this year's panel we'll give an update on our releases, plus will announce several awesome new games. There'll be lots of fun products as giveaways from J-List, too! Categories - Industry, 18+ TIME & DATE Sunday, July 02 9:30 pm - 10:30 pmLive Programming 3 Just to clarify the programming says they will announce several new games which for anyone who is unfamiliar with the word several that means at least more than two but not many more. I think we can expect 3-4 game announcements from Jast this time around.

The game is now out for any interested in picking it up and it will be 10% off 35.95 instead of 39.95 until JST July 7th 2017.

Interesting enough I suggest you go with the the steam release because if you love it you just wanna support it (there may be mods/patches/something to change elements of it though if you want the other feel). I do believe the steam version has the option of the sprites (I bought the game but haven't replayed it yet). The sprites have a certain charm to them and you get over it rather quickly since the writing and the music are just that good. Umineko itself is a great game just don't be expecting the same thing as higurashi. If you end up liking the Umineko series though he also has Rose Gun Days which is also a great read. There are a few other vns he's either worked on (Rewrite, Trianthology, Higanbana), there may even be a third when they cry series coming in the not too distant future as development was expected to start this year.

I doubt they'll fix it...it would be good as a marketing move for them to do so. Show the people that supported an unknown quantity that they are willing to get it right and appreciate their support by doing their damned best to make it better. If they do nothing their potential reputation here is severely damaged; it already is but they could salvage it just a bit by correcting their mistake. Time will tell we can only hope.

I have updated the list with Seinarukana and Nympho Sensei Ryoko. In addition to that this seems like Jast's website received yet another overhaul which can be seen here. Please remember nearly all these links are NSFW. This would have been updated sooner...if you know they would have released more games. I could not find a jast usa website yet for eiyu senki nor trample on schatten (it was 96% translated a year ago...surely it will be done by now unless it was restarted from scratch). Almost a year ago they mentioned that other games will get websites as they get closer to release. Anyway it's fascinating to see how their mindset on marketing visual novels themselves have evolved just by looking at their older and newer websites. Yes it's been nearly two years since the last post...

I did not mind the Makoto route (wish they would have done a bit more mind). Part of me is happy they did not go with the usual typical cliche and yet another part of me is sad we couldn't get more time with these particular characters. It's not been a full week yet so I'll hold off on doing that tempting spoiler box until later. I will probably read D.D.s route next.

I will make my opinion on this game after I read it.

I am currently reading Hatsukoi 1/1 (finished the Tsukishima route currently on the runa route), Everlasting Summer (only a few minutes to sample so I could try and get a description for the vn reading club), Chrono Clock (enjoying but only in the common route at the moment). I have a ton of crap I've started a bit of and never gotten back around to hopefully I'll be able to get to those after these.

I've updated the poll since people keep asking why certain characters are listed that can't be done right away...they are still listed but I explain it now. Basically I'm curious which character people are most interested in...probably should have just worded it differently or something. Anyway discussion can begin please remember to keep spoilers in boxes.

If it gets close to the eternal heart goal and they explain how that will work without paying 90 dollars I might back. Or just wait for denpasoft to carry it.

No worries I probably should have mentioned it in the poll itself. That said after getting a little past the prologue I found myself the most interested in the character potential for Makoto. Bit of a more unique take on that character type. This is one of the odd instances where I don't initially dislike any of the characters. The cast seems like they'll be good fun.

I completely missed the request for happy and conclusive ending requirements might want to stick to Midori Days, Ai Yori Aoshi, Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun and Kimagure Orange Road. Girls Bravo it's been quite some time since I've seen so I can't accurately recall if the ending was satisfactory although the jokes/perversion is way over the top as well so again dependent on if that's something you want to try. Mahoromatic you might want to skip for now as it doesn't really meet the requirements although I would debate the merits on it being a bad ending. To make up for a few questionable suggestions I've thought of a few additional titles: Vandread Irresponsible Captain Tylor Godannar (don't take this one seriously it's more of an homage to older shows in the genre) Maburaho (I liked it years ago when I watched it but I also am not sure of my taste back then) Hatsukoi Limited (hit or miss with most)

Here are a few suggestions not mentioned: Kimagure Orange Road Ai Yori Aoshi Midori Days Mahoromatic Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun Girls Bravo (lol I can't believe I put this on here but you never know) (I almost listed AnoHana which I don't think I would call a rom/com)

Ever 17 is the game that got me into visual novels. I happened to find it in a used bookstore of all places.

Mangagamer seems to have used ACEN primarily for their nukige as they announced Funbag Fantasy Sideboob Stories and Marina's Cuckolding Report. (neither link is sfw) Bit disappointing but then they usually save the good stuff for AX and Otakon anyway.
