Phew...Finished D.C.: Da Capo. It's strange that the bonus routes are probably the best moments of the game You may say I exaggerate because Moe's route was more than correct...and Kotori's (she's so cute ) was incomplete (I know...i should read Kotori Love Ex P) but still a thousand time better than Nemu's or Sakura's Anyway, this VN left me a bit unsatisfied (Bad writing, very boring passages, plot holes/unexplained ellipsis, Mako's under-exploited potential). 6 or 6,5/10 Don't know if I can follow up with the second DC...I'm afraid Edit : I succumbed to the temptation of Anzu DC2

Da Capo : So TexasDice wasn't wrong...'cause Nemu's route is utter crap too (the third...after Mako's and Sakura's). The drama was overlong (never-ending ennui, boredom) and kinda maddening. Or maybe i'm fed up of reading routes about (non-blood related) incest...

Da Capo: finished Sakura's route. it was horrible, a real chore. I don't like the character and her story felt hilariously botched/incomplete (a fairly good potential but it is so badly wriiten...or is it the translation ?). I'm probably a masochist : my next route will be Nemu. My expectations are low

Finished Yuzu's route. I have mixed feelings about this. The first part is...not very good (the character of yuzu - lovely in the common route - is almost ruined by an overdose of moe/kawai...and meh h-scenes). Nonetheless, the last part (after the h-scenes) is quite satisfactory. Edit : Today, I was on fire. Finished every route. My last was surprisingly the best : Yves. Best character (Touko is second, of course), best route. Globally, because of the Common route, Akane's or Yves', it's a fairly good VN. And all the cast is great (I dare to hope that the fandisc will be translated...I want to know more about Chiyoda and Chiharu ). My rate : Probably around 7,25 or 7,5/10.

Just finished Akane's route. I think it's clearly better than Touko's (the sexual element is better managed and the chemistry between Akane and the protagonist is obvious). But still, it's not as good as the common route

Finished Touko's route. The girl is really nice (a good specimen of the coodere tribe). However, after a very good common route, her route disappointed me (scenario, the rapid succession of H-scenes, her secret). Edit : Mmm...Akane's route is promising (slightly NSFW)

Aeka is like a trembling injured animal. You want to protect her. Nekoko is so strange and funny that you can't stop following her delirium. Mizuki is, like I said, not my type and she's a bit frightening (she's interesting but way too extreme for my little heart).

That's probably one of the two moments I prefer in YMK (with a certain scene in the hotel, Mizuki's route). Personal Reasons My girl rank : Aeka = Nekoko > Mizuki (her route is great but, physically, she's not my type).

Yume Miru Kusuri. After the marvelous Steins;Gate, I didn't know what to expect from an eroge (I bought YMK on JAST USA because its cover is awesome ). But to my great surprise, I discovered an adult game with (many) good H-scenes, lovely art...and three excellent routes (with serious and very interesting topics like bullying, drug or fear of the future/present). But my latest surprise was VA-11 HALL-A

Your perfect VN? Best story? Technically it's Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations (three of the five cases/chapters are just terrific : suspence, a lot of emotion, a fantastic and scary archenemy, all the best characters are here...) but I suppose it's not a pure VN. So the only VN I can think of is G-senjou no Maou. The remixed classical OST is awesome, The moments of comedy were hilarious and the drama part is almost unbeatable : the True ending is...legendary !!! Whenever I think about this, I want to cry (just like PW3) Your worst VN ? Worst story ? According to my VNDB rating, it's X-Change (Yes, I'm not very fond of nukiges...especially with rapes). But I have to mention Maid's Story. It was pure rubbish (gameplay, "story"). Best OST ? I/O. I loved the cyberpunk "touch". For the same reasons, VA-11 HALL A's OST is splendid too. Best Art or Art style ? Defintively, Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate. Every character is cute (even the male ones !). What VN has the worst art or art style ? Some characters in Zanmataisei Demonbane are ugly : Leica, Nya, Augustus, Makoto or Sonya. And Chain's Character Design is...special. Best characters? The best chemistry between characters? Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai's cast is clearly the best you can have (quality and quantity). And the chemistry between Yamato and Miyako is one of the best points of this VN.

Over the last few days, I finished... ...Chain: the Lost Footprints : I'm a fan of detective/murder stories. Alas, it was so....disappointing (all the trouble I had to resolve serious sound problems was...a waste of my precious time). Indeed, the characters are too bland, the story is botched (too bad because some elements, some passages are great) and the H-scenes are hilariously bad (again, it's a pity because the idea of animated scenes was cool). 6,5/10 ...VA-11 HALL-A : My second finished OELVN is a precious gem. This bartender experience was so endearing, so smart (I loved the alternation between very funny scenes and serious topics)...so addictive (but the fact I'm a sucker for dystopian settings and/or cyberpunk stories really helped). I think this surprising VN will enter in my TOP 20 !!! Seriously, buy it, steal it, play it, finish it ! NOW ! Edit : And maybe Dorothy will join my TOP 20 Characters 9/10
