I think the problem here is not the PRs but SP overall reputation. I keep reading of people that won't fund it specificAlly because it's a SP project, like..."dovac is a dick", "they have to learn to finish their ongoing projects before starting new ones" , and such...

Kickstarter is not a shop, it's only a reward for major funders, like the 10k usd dinners of some KS.

I prefer weak and crazy protagionists, better if 100% anti-Gary Stu with uncommon behaviour and decisions, if it's done well, the story gets more inetersting

if the kickstarter fails they won't get anything, 0 usd. they probably won't be able to pay the rights and a fantranslation would be the only viable option.

It won't come out, who pays for Regista's right? There's a reason the kickstarter has a base goal of 135k. The only hope would be a leak of the translation in the form of a patch.
