  1. See, the problem is that there aren't many renders of Gumshoe. This is the only one I could find that was bigger, and it's not by much.

    FH9JA3T.png

And here's a bigger title, if you need it. (Though I would prefer the previous one if you can help it.)

Alright, I guess I'll do what I can to make it fit then.

Btw I'll be using this render:

Its quality might be a bit off but I think I can fix that a bit. And if not I'll use the one you gave. Just some trial and error

    Dick_Gumshoe_GK2.png

I believe this one is just the full height version of the one you provided.

  2. Another wallpaper please. The character is Dick Gumshoe from the Ace Attorney series.

    With this title as well.

Uhh the size is a bit too small for a wallpaper. Fitting a 316 x 389 in a 1366 x 768 is a bit of a stretch. Mind giving a render you want to be used that's bigger?

  3.

Actually I noted the opposite: you have to use Darx to deal the finishing blow for it to count. Searched in CE and mapped out all the various jobs, and they only increased by 1 whenever Darx dealt the finishing blow, other times it stayed static.

then you did something wrong. the value i increased to get the wizard girl to join me went up whenever a mage died no matter who killed her

What about you guys try comparing the addresses? Or one of you guys could try resetting the number to 0 then to 10 repeatedly and go to the prison to check if the same event keeps on happening. I'm pretty sure they did a progressive count (10,20, . . .) so the scene should happen again and again.

  4. How the fuck did you finish it so fast, Kusokusari?

I mean, I'm at 93 hours and I just finished Sootopolis' gym.

Maybe it's because I spent a lot of time grinding everybody to evolution.

My team was pretty much finished from the start (minus one HM dump so one less Poke to train) and the last one left was in Mossdeep. Also, almost all of my pokemon has fast growth so yeah, not much grinding. If you need exp tho you can just challenge the reporters again and again. Bring some high level pokemon with high spd and sp atk to kill them in one surf. In my case it was Walrein since he mopped through most of the Mossdeep gym. The one you need level should hold an exp share and in the double battle for moar exp. If you did enough challenging them, they'll be stuck north of Mauville and you'll just need to leave the route to challenge them again. I only managed to do this twice in my original GBA as a kid tho.

That or maybe finishing this more than a dozen times as a kid helped.  :makina:

  5. It's... magnificent :kosame: thank you so much Kuroku ^_^!!

    ~~

Yeah, the rendering just takes alotta patience, quick selection tool precision, and refine edge settings mastery. idk. xD

    Glad you liked this one.

Didn't know that was even possible o.o I was always using Pen tool so I can be precise but my patience tends to go down the drain and I start bulldozing through it.  :sachi:

  6. Darx does not have to be the one landing killing blows on female adventurers for it to count.

I wish I had known this sooner I wasted a shitload of time having everybody on standby

    Enemy H Scenes

Found some info in the Japanese FAQ mentioning how many H scenes each enemy type has, so here they are. Keep in mind to view these, you must defeat the female in each class type a specific number of times and visit the prison. Check back regularly to see if there's anything new. If there is, go right back to the prison because you may have another one with a different class.

You must do the finishing blow yourself for it to count.

Can anyone else confirm this one? I believe that Darx should be the one to land a finishing blow since I noticed that I had a spike of events in the Prison after deliberately targeting the female adventurers using a ranged weapon. It could also be just a coincidence tho. Do you mind telling how you confirmed this? If you scanned the in-game values then you're probably right.

  7. stupid question but are those party memebers all you can recruit or do new monsters show up when you rank up

Yeah you can get more units as your renown increases but there will also be "upgraded" versions of the current available units. I haven't fully tested if they will be different in stats/skills but they shouldn't be that different. The main difference will be the color scheme of the unit and it starts at a higher level.

    Render (shittily made by me):

    ye5Uepi.png

    Typography:

    • Soleil D`Ecole (that's Rise's title in Princess Evangile)
    • Eclipsed (somewhere in the corner)

    Other:

    • You can use the default image or render; whatever you think will work better.
    • Pink it up as much as you can. Sparklies :D
    • Preferably try to crop the height to NOT include below Rise's waist / belt, as much as I would like seeing that >.>

I'll be taking the request for the best grill.

Thanks for rendering it, I'll do my best to give it the best result.

    Edit: Done

While I'm at it let me say that this render is goood. At least better than anything I've ever made before.

  9. This game was much shorter than I remember in my childhood. Maybe I have too much time in my hands right now.

Finished the Elite 4 and there were no casualties. Maybe stacking 50x each on Hyper Potions and Full Heals helped and never putting out a pokemon that has a tiniest possibility of getting one-shot.

    Team:

    Ritsuko the Breloom (all-around destroyer)

    Shirayuki the Walrein (anti-Dragon)

Kotori the Blaziken (Overheat+fighting moves abuse)

    Ruriko the Gardevoir (sp.atk abuse)

Tsubasa the Swellow (failed attempt at abusing STAB)

    HM the HM Dump Linoone

    Trainer Card:

PS. Don't train your pokemon to 55 like I did. It was an overkill and I barely used any items with everyone not taking more than 2 hits to get KO'ed.

  10. Someone please help me, here are my questions:

    1. what " # Hit " mean, it's in skill information and i don't know it meaning ??

    2. " To Hit " is about accurate, right :v

    3. Please guide me the interactive of element in game ???

    4. If i have one H-scene of a class enemy, example: Samurai ... Now what i must do to get the second and third H-scene. As read in first page, I must defeat that girl more time to get it. Do I need in higher rank than the time I get firt H-scene to get the second ???

    5. For counting, I must do finish blow with her (just her) or must do finish blow with her team ( finish the match) ?? I don't understand about it :v

Sorry, my english is bad :v

    Tks :D

1-2. # of hits is the multiplier for the power in the skill. There are times that some of the hits "miss" thus reducing the total damage. This makes Wild Dance and Volley the most powerful physical skills, raw damage-wise.

    3. Tbh magic is not really practical in the game. Increasing your INT is much harder than raising your STR. Finding strong staves is pretty hard and raising STR using other means such as stacking Super Soldier and Row STR increase is more available. The damage multiplier of magic isn't that great compared to physical skills although the enemies having lower RST is helping a bit but Physical Skills are still better. The best use of magic is using the Advanced version of each magic to clear low-level mobs.

    4. I have no idea. But it is better to aim for the higher version since it's not that difficult to look for anyway.

    5. Darx must be the one to land the final blow on the female enemy. This is only true for getting the H-scenes and not the Elimination jobs. There's a command that stops your units from attacking if I can remember correctly, so you should use that if you're ever gonna start farming for them.

PS. This is all in my personal experience so take it with a grain of salt. Hope I helped tho

  11. Welp decided to join in the fun. I've never tried Nuzlocke challenge before but I'm currently being paranoid and overdose my pokemon with potions

I'm so happy that I managed to encounter a Ralts on the grass beside Petalburg <3

    Current Team:

    Ruriko the Ralts

    Tsubasa the Tailow

    Kotori the Torchic

    Ritsuko the Shroomish

    HM (HM dump) the Zigzagoon

    846a258ac3.png

    Trainer Card:

    74498e6c72.png

Ruriko ended up having 1 hp three times within an hour. Living on the edge.

  12. Stupid question but is there a way to increase the encounter rate  In this game do I have to incress  the diffculaty because I just started playing and I find it to be really low

I'm not sure about increasing the encounter rate but it tends to have more enemy spawns when doing jobs like Extermination, Elimination, and Defend. Later on you'll have access to Demon Hunt and Dragon Hunt where there are tons of enemies wherever you go.

  13. Yeah, I feel like there isn't much actual mystery solving on the part of the protagonist in Cartagra, and it's a shame. And Kazuna is definitely best IG girl. The last part you talk about is why I suggest to anyone who will read both to read Cartagra before KnS. It just doesn't make sense to me to do it the other way around. If you read Cartagra first, that part in KnS destroys  you.

I didn't really know that there was that much relation about the two. It was only labeled as same setting so I though just a few characters will make an appearance. Thinking back I do believe it would've broken me at the bad ends, especially where Kazuna was involved and Hatsune swooped right in.

Kazuna getting her right leg torn apart and dying while Hatsune proceeds to comfort Shugo. This would've killed me.

Lesson learned; play what was released first, always.

  14. Yes!!! He has an actual friggen' family!@# Fully voiced! Sprited! IN 2005!@#

    rYhkuwQ.jpg

I've always believed that parents of the protagonist is nothing but a myth. Mind=Blown They must have a lot of budget

I just finished the True End of Cartagra and I just can't help to compare it with Kara no Shoujo. They're both good but some stuff really bothered me in Cartagra.

Mainly, the fact that her little sister practically spoon fed him the info he needed to solve the cases. This is especially true in the first mystery with the nun since her little sister deduced the conclusion for him. I don't really mind having two more heads to get it done but I think they went too far on this. Also, the last and main mystery was practically solved by her little sister, too. Thinking back she's a god-like character with her solving skills and getting out unscathed. I was ready for her to get killed. I liked the fact that I didn't manage to completely predict everything but I guess that would be near impossible since there's a serious lack of information before it's revealed in one go. Lastly, the genius and annoying detective, Yaginuma. They said that he's really fit for the job and he's good but I didn't see it at all. I thought I just missed out on his skills in KnS since he appeared first in Cartagra. He was just practically there to be a bitch about things.

The main heroines in both games are really likeable but my preference leans on Kazuna. Strange how I thought I'll be annoyed by her since she's too talkative but she just grew on me. KnS was better overall imo and this is especially true on the endings. I just can't understand one thing tho. How come Kazuna is still in Japan in KnS? I don't think enough time has passed for her to finish theatrical arts in a short time since she still looked pretty young at that point.

I also just got to know that the bad ends in KnS was meant for people who read Cartagra first. I mean, it could still stand on its own but the degree on how much it hurts really intensifies once you get to know the backstory.

I still didn't get enough Hatsune in both games.
