Thing is, I plan to go with Windows 10 but what concerns me is if Visual Novel's will be compatible in every way just as Windows 7 in not facing errors. This goes for both official releases and FTL patches on Japanese versions while under the system locale. I think you should be mostly fine. Modern VNs should basically have full compatibility, so you can assume that anything recent works and anything new will always work. Older VNs might have odd issues but you can typically work around those and instances of VNs not working outright are extremely rare. Okarin Posted November 4, 2016 Share Posted November 4, 2016 Well... if you're going with something 90s, that's probably 16-bit, so you'd need extra emulation, for example with DOSBox, then applying the patch, if any.
