  1. I'm currently playing Majikoi S right now, and I have a few questions regarding your work on this project : will you translate/edit the images which appears when the day change?

Will you translate the BGM "pop-up"?

Sorry if you already answered this in the first post of the project, but I dont know what "UI" means... ^^'

If I'm not mistaken, you choose :

    - "Krit" as Chris nickname, when Wairu/Yandere choose "Kri" : why? "Krit" would sound as "Krito" in japanese not "Kuri", no?

     - "Goblin Banquet" when they choose "Mouryou Gathering" : was that a mistranslation of them?

    Thanks in advance ^^

Yes, we have already begun work on the day changes. We will do the popups if we are able. "UI" stands for "user interface", and includes the popups when you hover over menu items, the event, music, and skit lists, and other bits that may have been left undone by Wairu.

"Krit" was chosen to preserve the pun, though I suppose most wouldn't get it(I didn't until dowolf explained). The pun is her nickname being similar to "clit", for "clitoris". When written in English, "Krit" is closer than "Kri".

"Goblin's Banquet" is a better translation(in that it is an actual translation, where Mouryou's Gathering really isn't), and had we had more time, I'd like to have changed it through all of Yandere's uses for consistency's sake. And it fits what the gathering actually is, rather than leaving readers with a japanese word they don't know.

  2. Um, is  half of S is equal to half of original game?

    I really couldn't tell you.

I dont know if u need to finish all the 10 routes or just unlocking them. Ive never played koyukis route myself so i am just repeating what i read or hear.

Yep Dowolf and Kosuna started translating Miyako from the start. as far as i remember

Btw, i remember u guys had some issues with the Majikoi S script files beeing different to the original Majikoi files. Did u solve the problem?

dowolf started Miyako from where yandere left off, but that was only a little ways into the route(the athletic festival). As for the 'problem', it wasn't a problem so much as an annoyance. There are 27 script items in the first game, and it's pretty easy to tell which are and aren't done. There are 264 in S.

  3. This is such a awesome news! Good luck on the translations guys!

On that note, I can't seem to find the partial wairu translations patch... I just wanted to ease my pain after finishing reading majikoi by reading kokoro's route in majikoi s! Does anyone know where to find it? Their website seems to be a bit hard to navigate or to find it...

  4. I meant the royal you. I`ll rephrase it.

Hey doesn`t your team have translating to do.

Not much the rest of us can do at the moment. dowolf hard at work doing wolfy things, helvetica working art magic, crying trying to make the UI readable because wairu are useless. QC and editors, on the other hand, really have nothing to do until at least one of those three finishes something. And so we wait. And poke fun at you, because why not?

  5. In the route chart, the untranslated Childhood arc comes before the 2nd Year 1st Semester. If I move on to the Wairu S patch after finishing Majikoi the first, will I have to skip that Childhood bit or is it optional? It seems weird that it wasn't translated.

As best as I recall, it's a hidden route, like Agave was in the first game. I'm not sure about the unlock conditions on it.

  6. I disagree.

Besides Mayucchi, Miyako gets the most character development out of all the heroines.

I dunno about that. Miyako and Yukie really only grow out of their own isolation. Wanko gets her hopes crushed and is left to pick of the pieces, which is doubly devastating because Wanko is the happiest girl in the game. Her route is far more depressing than any in a comedy VN have a right to be.

    My thoughts.

  7. On the replay scene list, it goes in this order: Momoyo - Wanko - Miyako - Yukie - Chris. I'm missing the final scene for Miyako (there's an unfilled gap right before Yukie's first time with Yamato). Reading from left to right it's replay scene #10.

That's not a bug. You just haven't found that one yet.
