It looks like a bad translation, but the meaning is fairly clear. Something along the lines of "Yamato told me to hold back using eye contact". Probably just a bad QC.

A quick question regarding the side route patch(es?). Given that it would appear dowolf will be completely finished with all the side routes in a short while, will you guys release them all at once in a big patch, or continue with the original idea of releasing them two at a time?

UPDATE: Mayo's route handed off. Moro's route won the vote by a pretty hefty margin, so that's where we're heading next.

its sad that its being brought down. i came into the fuwa community through this thread. although theres also a matter of practicality, how will we get updates on the translation? there should be some site somewhere we can continue to get updates.

It already left the topic once. That's how it got here. They were fine with it then, when they moved it here. So what changed since then?
You forget this thread didn't start with this title, or in this section of the forums. It was sent here for being a random chatter thread, and renamed as such, to comply with what they told us were the rules. Some were mildly annoyed at the move, but we accepted that the rules were the rules and moved on.
So what, exactly, has changed since then?

But we need to abide to what the mods say, I guess.
What is the point of having rules if they're enforced randomly? If those rules aren't the rules, why are they there? If they are, under what rule are they closing this thread?
I am all for following the rules. What I dislike, however, is when they don't follow their own rules, and do basically whatever they want whenever they want. There is no point in rules if you can be punished for following them.

don't be to butthurt tough as i can also understand thier reasoning for closing it.
But that does not mean i have to agree with it, it was a great topic to ask a quick question wich did not really deserve its own topic and a good way to let off some steam.
So personally i really hope it can stay just the way it is with only a simple name change to something like the great thread of randomness.
What reasoning might that be? The entire point is that there seems to be no reasoning, at least none that fit their own posted rules.

It won't be, because then they'll lock that and we will have no way to get updates, and they know it. They're holding our desire for a patch essentially hostage to get this thread to die.

Essentially, the mods seem upset this thread won't die on it's own because people enjoy talking to each other, and rather than just leave it alone since it's not harming anyone, they're going to close it, essentially killing the community it built for seemingly no rational reason. So now if we want to talk, we're going to either have to find a forum with better mods, or use a chat setting which quite frankly sucks.

I suggest you read the posts on this thread and notice that Ouraibaa has already proposed a solution of his own.
I have read that, and I've also been reading the chat in which they point out chantango isn't an ideal solution. Perhaps before telling someone what they should read, you should make sure you've read everything first?

Big thread takes a load of space. And random chatter isn't really how a forum is supposed to work. There are places dedicated to chatter and places dedicated to discussion. This is the latter.
Anyways, if I were to guess, they probably thought it'd die off sooner or later, if that's truly how it went.
This... isn't how forums work, at least not any run well. Text-based data is tiny. I've seen threads on several forums in excess of 4000+ pages and 80k+ replies, and no one has ever suggested shutting them down. While they may be distracting to the rest of the forum, space is only a concern if you are pinching for every single megabyte, at which point you should probably considering purchasing more space.
So I'm going to go ahead and say space isn't an issue, and the issue is this is the wrong section, as you say. That's not really our problem, the mods are the ones who put it here instead of somewhere else. As such, it seems to me they're killing something that has become a community in it's own right just because.
I'll miss this thread, even if I mostly just read the bromance between you and Ouraibaa.

Don't see why this thread is being closed. The mods threw it here and justified it by saying we'd still be allowed to use it, we just couldn't have it in the TL forum. So we accepted the move and lived with it. Now they're saying we can't even have that? Really?

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but if dowolf is going to be running through miyako and checking it anyway, perhaps waiting to release a patch until the entire TL is finished would be better? Would cause less confusion upon release over which one to download.

That is, as best as I can tell, from the yandere translation, and has nothing to do with Oura. And even if it did, not going to pull punches if something that bad makes it into the game.
