  1. One that really stands out is the vampire. So many different cultures have there take on this creature and the folklore has endured over the years (albeit twisted). Just as long as they don't sparkle.
  2. Xenosaga 3....I still have this game on my shelf unopened. I started part 2 and was a bit put off by the game changes
  3. I'm sorry I think there is a bit of a miscommunication between what we are both getting at. I'm wondering if the list of recommendations would look that different as in do those stipulations make any difference whatsoever
  4. My gaming backlog is what drives down prices for me I can usually wait out until a deep discount or bundle. For example I'm waiting for dishonoured goty edition to hit the magic 75% off on steam before I bite. I know they will do better than 66 since base game was 75% off during Christmas
  5. Actually I meant if you took out the confident protagonist and the thing about fantasy/magic/sci-fi
  6. Under $1 an hour and probably going to the lower end of that. Probably more like .50 an hour
  7. Final fantasy vii. I'm sure everyone knows the scene I'm referring to without actually saying it. It was so good because it was final and there was no coming back from that.
  8. Bloodlines was a really fun game. One of the few games I played though multiple times because the different classes/dialogue were cool. I do have to say tremere was my favourite though. Too bad the company that made the game wen out of business.
  9. Now if you take out the first exclusion and second request does the list change significantly?
  10. Just a quick suggestion for the forums it might be good to consolidate the recommend me posts into a single thread. If you wanted to go a step further even some sort of guide or poll where recommendations can be created so we don't have as much clutter or people asking for the same parameters.
  11. La DEA of libra looks interesting and hope it gets a translation
  12. I think the Layton games are fun to combine puzzles and story. I'm wondering if there are any +18 games that have the same format.
  13. -reddit -gogoanime -joystiq/kotaku/siliconera -xhamster (nsfw) -YouTube -boardgamegeek -steam -memebase -google -humblebundle
  14. Well how far along is your Japanese jlpt 4 or 3?
  15. They would have to age some of the characters a little bit but negima sounds like a good option with so many female characters
  16. The first 18+ game on steam would be groundbreaking. I wonder what gaben thinks of that prospect.
  17. This game is definitely going in my top 5 list somewhere but then again I love srpg. As a side note when/how does 9 tales become a full member?
  18. I think my first was 3 sisters story then maybe season of Sakura
  19. They are fine unless I'm tripping over them.
  20. My room is pretty tame these days. A few figures from fate/stay and some small posters I framed.
  21. I would say that my all time favourite game has to be True Love. There haven't been many games to match it but then again I might just think back to it for nostalgia sake. I don't generally bother with untranslated games anymore as I have a hard enough time finding time to play my English games. Despite my steam backlog I still decided to get kamidori due to my love of srpg. I like games with gameplay but am not opposed to a more traditional VN game. I like having a game with lots of characters, meaningful choices, multiple endings and of course story. Favourite genre RPGs.
  22. Thanks but I'll pass. Loli content has been one of the things I absolutely deplore and I hate it when it is included in games. I know it might not be a popular opinion with some though as there are often two camps of thought.
  23. Hi! Thought I'd join up on this forum after a long while stepping back from this genre. Not sure if anyone remember hgmb but yes it has been that long. Recently found kamidori which is a real treat.
