  1. Nice to meet you River. I like to see more longtime members around here. I hope you enjoy yourself here.
  2. I was thinking the same thing Shaun. I was expecting this most of these would come out next year or later anyway since I know these guys are trying there hardest and personally, I rather have people work on it rather than some company, unless they have something I want.
  3. I'm looking forward to some of these, particularly So I'm a Spider, Low Tier Character and Hidden Dungeon. I have been looking for some new shows to watch and so far those interest me as far as new shows go. I will have to wait and see if they are any good in my opinion.
  4. I figured as much. I would look for a walkthrough or something from Seiga and try to read the text they provide. I don't use the machine translations because they are unreliable to me compared to learning Japanese myself. Sorry for my rudeness earlier, didn't have enough sleep i think. Edit: I'm providing a link to it's walkthrough. Here is the link. https://seiya-saiga.com/game/toneworks/ginharu.html
  5. That route has not been finished by the translator and he is on hiatus right now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  6. I have it as well, but I haven't played though it as of yet. The only way to get it is to get a torrent of it and it is a pain in the ass to get the right one.
  7. Nice to have you here comrade. Hope you enjoy your stay.
  8. Nice to meet you. It's good to see some old names come up. I hope you enjoy your stay.
  9. Nice to meet a fellow comrade to the forums. Hope you enjoy yourself.
  10. There have been a lot of great music over the years, but if i had to pick, it would be the Minato games (Majikoi series and Tsujidou-san no Jun'ai Road specifically come into mind.) and House of Fata Morgana. I have songs from these games on my phone and I enjoy listening to them in my free time.
  11. Sorry, I thought that was what you were looking for. From what I can tell, you have to. Don't quote me in case I'm wrong. However, if you want the true ending, you have a lot of requirements to accomplish and they will kick your ass. here is what i found on that. My understanding is that in order to get the true ending you need to complete the three main routes, including one of them on the hardest difficulty, you have to finish a "graduation route" (I don't know what that is), and you have to complete the entire fantasy world quest line. There are a lot of requirements, I wonder if I'll bother.
  12. Sounds like you do a lot for these games. Do you have a resume of games you worked on? if so, what did you work on? You can ignore me if you want to, I was just curious.
  13. There's no good English walkthrough for the dungeon parts of the game that I've found. However, there is a site that will help you get the individual girls' routes though. Here is the link. http://digitalvncloud.blogspot.no/2013/09/yumina-ethereal-walkthrough-work-in.html
  14. I have to agree with shogun here. It's up to the developers to have the fandisk translated. Personally, I want to see it happen, but if Purple decide not to do it, that is there choice to make.
  15. Welcome. I hope you enjoy yourself here. If you have questions, you can rely on anyone here.
  16. I have been rereading the Majikoi series lately in my spare time. I have enjoyed it the first go round, but I haven't finished it since I finished Momoyo's route. I think the game is good, but I enjoyed it more with a good cup of warm sake. I have also been playing Senren Banka a lot as well, but I haven't played this one since release day and I got bored after a few chapters. I normally play these games when I have time, but i have been in a gaming rut and I have been waiting for some new titles to come out. Maybe I need to get something for me to learn Japanese so i can play some of the untranslated games.
  17. I can agree that stories can be excellent when the initial premise is resolved or dealt with. That progress can help a story along or hinder it depending on anyone's point of view. However, it can be a problem if they progress too far in my opinion. I may be wrong, but some stories run far away from the concept it started on, that it isn't the same story anymore. I can't think of any examples right now, but I know some that have done this and it failed on them. But if done right, it is awesome.
  18. Thanks @littleshogun I will remember that. I follow your blog and I am a fan. So good luck yourself.
  19. Good PSA, but correct me if i am wrong, but I have noticed some porn sites doing streams of VNs on their websites. PHub being one of them. I'm surprised no one thought of doing that.
  20. I can see that. It's a mixed bag for some games. I knew some games make the list like the Zero time series and like you said Ace Attorney, but some RPGs make that list as well sometimes and that really confuses me. I know comparing Persona to Grisasa is a stretch, and others would think I'm crazy for making that comparison. From the earlier comments I received, I got my answer to this question. I don't know half of what this medium is right now, but I thought if I got some input, that would be a start. It is something worth discussing and I got more research on the matter Thanks everyone.
  21. @Plk_Lesiak that is what made me think that the VN industry was picking up in the first place. I have noticed since Persona 5 came out and has been getting momentum that I thought that VNs were gaining ground. I have noticed it for a while now and I don't know if what I said even qualifies as VN talk anymore. Also, if you are wondering. I don't know if Persona 5 even qualifies as a VN with as much gameplay it has. Someone told me it partly was and that is where I got this idea.
  22. Thank you for the input you three. I didn't know what was going on and I wanted to be sure that they were still at the table with there heads on straight. I didn't want to see them go down the rabbit hole Sekai went down. I wasn't doing this to put Mangagamer down. I just thought something was wrong. I didn't mean to cause drama if I did.
  23. I have enjoyed this community since I started back in 2017 and I haven't been actively started posting until now since I was trying to get a feel for the community for a while. I like it here a lot, Thanks @Plk_Lesiak
  24. I read on reddit today that Musicus was going to be licenced to Mangagamer and that made me think of this question. Is Mangagamer still relevant with the VN public? I saw them do this project since when I started playing VNs back in 2017 and I was just curious on what people think about the company. With the controversy surrounding the company, I was wondering if they have a place at the table or not. I just want to know what people think.
